Basically, if you want to place a huge bet (like $500k) but don’t want to manually click the same bet 10 times while the odds move against you, their system now does it automatically.
You set the amount and the minimum odds you accept, and the bot “drips” the bets into the market.

On paper, it actually makes sense, especially for big events like the Super Bowl.


That said… I do wonder how many players can realistically afford to place a $500k bet in the first place:)

Instead of clicking on the same bet 10 times or more, why not just use the whole amount of money to bet at once? This kind of a feature is not useful for someone like me but I do not bet with high amount of money.

If a betting site does not allow me to bet up to the amount I want, I will prefer to use more reputable betting sites for the bet so that the chance I will be paid the money will be higher if the amount of money that I bet is lower. I will divide the money across more gamble sites instead .

For that kind of huge money, I honestly wouldn’t trust a bot to place the bet, I’d rather do it manually just to make sure I’m getting the right odds. I’m more of a pregame market bettor anyway, so constant odds changes aren’t really an issue for me since that mostly happens during live betting.

About that $500k max bet though, I’m skeptical. I don’t really see anyone here actually using casinos and sharing bets anywhere near that size. The only place I’ve seen something like that is Stake, and that’s mostly because of Drake showing his massive bets, but outside of that, it’s hard to believe regular users are really doing numbers like that.

I also think about this. If the maximum amount you can bet on a gambling site is $50000, you will only be able to bet on the same match even on different bets in a way you can not still go more than $50000. I do not believe what the OP is talking about as there is no any need to create multiple bets.

They have this because there is a market for this and it makes sense too but for me I will never make use of it and I am not that rich to spend 500K on gambling yet.

I know online casinos are trying to be innovative and attract new customers, but they need to be careful because if the rules are not clear enough and a player unknowingly defaults leading to a freeze in their account, the casino can easily be accused of being shady when that wasn't their intention in the first place.

Given that most of us don't have the bankroll to bet such large sums of money, I assume this is more symbolic than functional. If it were to benefit anyone, it would be more a matter of status for elite players  that is, the minority, for obvious reasons.

I see it more as a nod to saying "don't worry about how much money you can bet".

This is very convenient for people who have funds to bet millions of dollars.  A very good consideration from the casino's end.  This will surely attract whales who are tired of placing multiple bets on a single match just to accommodate the amount they want to put on the given match.

I bet there are many gamblers who can afford more than $500k bet. If there are only a few then the platform won't spend time to put up the said kind of feature.

I think this only applies to a very specific group of users. From what I understand, this advantage is more relevant for those who bet on live games. Ai bot integration and innovations has flooded most online businesses including gambling and trading. It's just a wonder the development that certain platforms come up with because this is obviously the first time am hearing of such a whale mode and men, the bet amount of $500k is kinda huge don't you think?

You will be surprised if they show you the data that necessitate them spending time and resources to activate that feature. For a platform like Cloudbet, there would definitely be people looking for wager that much and if the numbers in terms of volume is not enough the amount worth investing in such feature because you go big or you go home and in the case of losing, the house just raked in, in one swoop what would take hours and huge number of clients to get.

Let's say the odds are at 1.80 ...

The moment you make a huge bet, they will surely lower to 1.7, then to 1.6, and so on. It's like when you are buying or selling crypto, your money moves the market.

You can't just do $500k on any random game. There needs to be a counterparty taking your odds.

That is a waste of money! Why anyone would  hand over all that money to the system? Where are the fun in that?

I do not know... but I am the type of person who likes to analyze all my bets... I rarely make a single bet on impulse, so I would never think of handing over so much money to a system to decide how and where to bet. That is crazy!!

Then you bet another $5k and the odds shift again... imagine doing this for the entire $500k. But you still think your team will win and you want to bet all on them, so you just send the $500k right away and say to the bot "I'm fine with any odds starting from X.XX". The system will set everything for you and you just wait for the game to start.

The system isn't deciding where to bet, it just manages the bet *you chose* in the first place.

I understand, but each bet it is unique! A team that win the current match, no matter how much of a favorite they are, wont always have the same chance of win the next matches.
A lot can change... an injury or a red card or even a turnaround while the game that changes completely the statistics and forces you to sell your position prematurelybefore losing everything.
If you leave this on the hands of the system, will it know what to do? Or will it do what is most advantageous to house?

I already said it before: I would not trust my money to something automated, I think that is a big mistake.
The good thing about betting is being able to "feel" each one, to experience the emotion. That, for me, is worth much more than winning a large sum... hum.... Okay, I exaggerated now, but you understood what I meant, right!?
