What specifically makes you think this project is the same as any previous one?
HoundCoin is launched with different parameters, a fair PoW model, no premine, and open-source code.
It’s better to judge the project by what it is, not by assumptions.

Ok, then tell us what the project is all about, how it compares favorably to hundreds of other projects using the Scrypt algorithm, what problems it solves, and how it can be useful (besides mining for the sake of mining).

HoundCoin is intentionally simple.

It focuses on fair Proof-of-Work, transparent rules, and equal access.
No premine, no dev fee, open-source code, and a predictable monetary policy.

The value is not in solving abstract problems, but in providing a stable and honest Scrypt PoW network that miners and developers can rely on long-term.

Litecoin already exists.

Does mining on personal PCs still make any sense, or is it already a mass action?
