Gambling is still dominated by men not just because that women are not allowed to gamble, it is just because women have different things as entertainment in wider scale. For example shopping seems to be giving happiness for women while men hate shopping, especially like clothes so it is just because of differrence in the interest.

just because gambling is seen more among men does not mean that women cannot be involved in it,in reality men and women have different interests and ways of entertainment, many women find more happiness in shopping chatting traveling or spending time with family,on the other hand many men are more interested in excitement risk and competition so they are more drawn to gambling,this is not a rule but a natural difference in preferences, people choose what they enjoy most, in some cases social attitudes also have an influence, but the main point is that gambling is not a gender based activity, the higher participation of men is mainly due to differences in interest habits and mindset...

Gambling can be done by anyone who is above 18 of course, it course be a male or a female...Butt then I think that the man are mostly the gender that has dominated the gambling industry... In my country it would seem less likely for you to see a woman that is placing bets in a gambling shop, it would mostly be the men... Gambling is not a gender base thing in my country, both men and women can gamble on any game of their choice. There's no gender segregation for gambling in my country but the problem is spouse, as a woman your husband might not allow you to gamble, while some women too does not encourage their husband to gamble.

Gambling is not a gender based activitie in the world, there is no official role about that. In the world, we have people of different cultures, there are people that their culture may have not allow women to gamble but it's not like that worldwide.

In my country Nigeria, no gender is restricted from gambling but as a woman, there are some place that you will  find yourself, if people see you gambling, they might look at you as an irresponsible someone. It's not in all part but there are some local areas that you will live and you will hardly see women gambling, just men and it will be weird to see yourself as the  only woman gambling.  Now that online casino is many, women can gamble in their homes and no body will even know.

I would not really say it's gender based but rather gender concentrated, just as you would have more women in the club over men. In this case, betting, as it's known as an activity for men specifically and women based on interest.

I believe there are games which women are engaged more than the men, but based on my perspectives, I can boldly say that women are more engaged in to bingo, lotteries and slot machines. I don't really know why but I think it's because those games are easier to bet because you just have to press a button and let the machine decide your fath (mostly the slot games). However, lets say even in the soccer game, both men and women are lover of sport games and there are some of the women teams which are more better and strengthen than the men team.

We can't say gambling is mainly for Men because they don't indicate that it's only Men that should gamble but in most cases Men gamble more than women, I have seen women that gambles more often than men, they analyze games, team performances and stake with different betting apps, there is a lottery stand where I work and majority of the customers that comes there to play Lotto are women so with the little experience I have gotten from gambling is not gender based, anybody can gamble and also be addicted to it be it male or female, in Nigeria here Women engage in varieties of Jobs, they become bus drivers and bus conductors.

I can agree with you if you say gambling is very common with men than women but it's not gender based so long one is above 18years you can gamble respectively but I can tell us for free that women gamble more than men secretly so that's why we feel women don't gamble like men but they actually gamble alot.

Religious and cultural beliefs are some of the reasons why women gamble less than men in some areas. In some cultures, gambling is a man's activity and women who gamble face some attacks.

The majority of women are not interested in sports. So my take is that they would prefer a casino games to sports betting. Men are more active in sports and bet more on these games.

I guess men are into every categories of gambling in a much higher proportion than women, but comparing the gambling categories where there are more women into, I think bingo and slots still stand out. Many old ladies enjoy bingo and slots, because these are good games to kill some time while relaxing. Games where you have to be attentive and active all the time, like crash, for an example, aren't that popular among women.

According to history gambling has gain more popularity among men, with certain games such as Sports betting,  poker, and casinos high stake games attracting more of male audience. This my be linked to cultural norms, expectations from society, and the methods of marketing of gambling firms. There’s really no gender when it comes to gambling. Both can gamble, it’s just that more men into gambling. Maybe factors that affects it is that, for sports betting, men are much attracted to various sports since usually it’s physical. And when you’re into sports, you also get surrounded by sportsbettor that eventually you’d learn. Casino or online casino games can be related to just games. Usually, men are more into games than women so that could also be a reason.

Yes, Gambling is pretty much a gender based activity with very few women getting to gamble in a regular basis. The most interesting part about it is how it is a cultural thing and does not have anything to do with their capability of gambling, since women will always have a little bit of money and the entry price for gambling has become very low thanks to the advance of online gambling and cryptocurrency.

Yesterday I met with a girl who decided to buy a lottery ticket out the blue, and that surprised me a bit because I would have imagine she was the kind of person who played lottery or liked to gamble the little money she had.

Gambling is a game, it is not specially made for any gender. Anyone can play gambling games. However, women are more stingy than men, so they are afraid to take risks. And for this reason, women are not seen gambling much. Again, there are some religious and social restrictions for women, so in that case too, women are forced to stay away from gambling. However, no gambling game is made for any specific gender. So people of any gender can gamble, it depends on their wishes.

The number of men who gamble is indeed much higher. however, in Asia, it is also common to see women gambling. One of my acquaintances is actually more skilled at gambling, even though she is a woman. as for what games they play, the answer is the same as what we men do. But I remember that at the billiard hall, we would see more women gambling there or at the poker table. However, very few women bet on soccer matches. Although there are some, I think the number is very small. However, women are usually better at controlling their emotions, even though they are more emotional in everyday life. If we look at it, gambling is dominated by men, even from ancient times until now, with more men gambling than women. As long as gambling is concerned is not gender based. Both male and female can gamble however it is mostly male that do gamble.I believe the reason why it is mostly male that do gamble is because gambling involves risk and it takes a strong heart to be able to without the risk of losing money. Aside this also as you have pointed out the way the society will perceive a female that do gamble will different from the way they will see a male gambler.
