Though OP is seeking for an opinion if he should lock the thread or not but i don't see any reason why OP should seek for anyone's opinion inasmuch as he is satisfied with the replies of users of which he has confirmed that he has gotten the answer he needed which means leaving the thread open will mean that OP will not pay attention to it again and it might also lead to spamming the thread with same replies.

Anyways as for OP, let me just chip in a little. You can invest the 1$ daily, it may not amount to a sizable amount in 10 years but it's better to be a low coiner than a no coiner. What ever you are able to accumulate, so far as it is in bitcoin, it has value in it so do not be discouraged.

If you have gotten your answers from what people are posting, it is not bad to lock the topic because most other people will also post something similar to what other people have already posted as we are already on the second page. 10 years is a lot of time and so many things can happen within that period, including a change in your income flow and other things. If what you can afford right now is $1 and you’re confident about investing in Bitcoin, then I’ll advise you to take the shot, that’ll be around $7 weekly, it may not seem as much now, but the most important thing is to get started first and not to worry about the size of the portfolio first, get started first and build that confidence in Bitcoin investment, know your way around it and get acquainted with the complexities of investing in Bitcoin, and then build consistency, I bet you that in 10 years, you’ll surely attain a very impressive position, that’s if you don’t manage to reach an over accumulation status.

I believe it’s up to the OP to decide whether or not to lock the thread, yeah if they’re satisfied with the replies they’ve received so far, then the most logical thing to do at that point would be to lock the thread to prevent spammers from turning the thread into a breeding ground. But still, it wouldn’t be bad to also leave the thread open for some time because you never know who’s gonna bring up a completely new theory that could potentially override your previous thoughts and maybe even give you a much clearer picture and perspective on how to go about it. Just my thoughts.

Life is full of surprises (good and bad), which means that there may be periods when investments will not be on your mind, or when it will seem to you that it is all too pointless.

At least once in 10 years you will need money for something, and then you will reach for what is at hand, which means your plan has failed. I mean, it's not bad to have a plan, but instead of $1 every day, why not do something like that on a monthly basis, on the principle that you invest part of the money you have left after paying all the expenses? That way, you won't spend the money you need, and one of the rules of investing is to never invest money you're not prepared to lose.

I had a lot of planned investments that were delayed even if they were on a monthly basis.  The easiest way to solve this issue was to cover the missed period of time by adding more Money to the sum.  In OPs situation this means if he misses 7 days, he could cover them up by investing 8 Dollars or more one day instead.  There are opportunities to have more Money every year.  A 50 Dollar birthday gift would cover 50 days of missed investments in their case.

Although I agree, daily consistency of putting 1 Dollar every single day in Bitcoin is most likely going to fail.  I would definitely not be motivated enough to keep up with the strategy.

I don't know any exchange platform that let you buy Bitcoin with the amount you mentioned but I can think of a way for you to buy Bitcoin. If you really want to take a shot at Bitcoin then you can do it if you are willing to take the risk. You should save your dollar until it reached a certain amount where you can use it to buy Bitcoin in an exchange. Just like what others explained that there are exchange platforms that doesn't let people buy crypto below $5, $10 depends on the exchange.

OP why not try and make extra money one way or the other? To atleast invest $2 per day instead of $1, I bring up this idea because the 10 years that you are aiming at is a very long time, with $2 you can lower that year back to 5 years target instead of 10 years, Bitcoin will still create a new all time high after it has find it's latest bottom, probably by the third quarter of this year.

I don't know the kind of responsibilities you have in your life, because there are good and bad times in everyone's life, unexpected spending of money always comes up as well, how do you plan for such days? Are you sure that if such days come it won't affect your plan? I think it's also not bad to invest more than your target on your good days, like if you earn more than you always earned do not invest a dollar, you can invest $5 or more on those days. This will prepare you for bad days where you can't afford to invest.

Motivation drops significantly in times when the price drops, as is the case now - because even though logic finds that the best time for investments is precisely in these moments, most do it when the price rises. I had a similar idea about ten years ago, and although I succeeded to some extent, there were still periods when I didn't invest anything for months.

You can stand by and  explore more  on this forum, make sure to understand not just nitcoin but the cryptocurrency.

Listen to me bro, bitcoin rewards patience and consistency. You don't need to invest very huge amount of money to be certain of good returns. As long as you are investing for long term and will be consistent, that is cool.

$1 daily may seem small but that very amount over 10 years will be roughly around $3,650. Bitcoin's price over the years has always proven to appreciate. In 10 years, the amount would have appreciated greatly. This risk is indeed worth it.

It will be worth it, just invest 1 dollar or whatever your money is into Bitcoin and in 10 years, trust me that will be your best investment. I'm not bullshit, but you have seen how Bitcoin has performed in the last few years, and it is very likely that in the next few years Bitcoin will also grow even more. The important thing is consistency, because even though the amount you invest is quite small, if it is consistent then over time the amount will increase and accumulate significantly, and in the next 10 years, it could become your most valuable asset.

Bitcoin has been in existence for about 17 years now, so in the next 10 years I don’t think anything is going to happen to bitcoin. If you earn $1 days and you plan on investing the $1 daily, I don’t know any reputable exchange that will allow you buy $1 bitcoin, so instead of stressing yourself, why not just keep the money for about 10 days which will be around $10 then you can be investing in bitcoin every 10 days. I think that’s just going to be better than trying to invest $1 in bitcoin everyday.

If you can hold bitcoin for a long period of time, then I will say it’s just going to worth it. Just imagine people that invested in bitcoin around 15 years ago, do you know the profits which they will be now if they are still holding the bitcoin.
