I recently saw a Accusation by @Ultegra134 in the AI Spam Report Reference Thread when I saw the posts accused, I spotted a another user using Ai Generated text and I reported it too, But what I saw in the thread is a repeating pattern of posts promoting and shilling telegram groups. When I saw their profile further I saw that they all tagged eachother positively suggesting they were Alts. Trust Summary of Nishawa: "Nishawa" recieved those untrusted feedbacks on the same day, couldn't be a Coincidence!? Alex_de_wolf and Nishawa were both tagged in 2019 and 2020 for having Alts and shilling telegram groups. Seems like they have returned to their mighty Work. They also don't even put a little effort in the posts, they write it solely based on Ai. IMO they should be Banned!! Accounts That are Probably Alts: Alex_de_wolf Nishawacryptotelegramgroupsxl energy coin

Positive trust coming from a newbies doesn’t really matter much since it doesn’t reflect anything meaningful.
What really matters is when there’s questionable DT involved, and in this case the account is already red-tagged, which is far more visible anyway. As for shilling, that’s pretty common here, a lot of people use newbie accounts for that exact reason so they can just throw them away once the job is done.

I used the trusts as a Base of my argument that they are alts, run by one person. Them giving trusts to eachother doesnt matter as they are untrusted but it proves a connection between them. Leaving their posts is dangerous as people who are not that knowledgeable about scams may get affected. They would think that a red trust given 6 years ago would have lost its relevance and many Newbies not even look at trusts. They must be Nuked!!

I also noticed that the account I reported had supposedly sent positive trust to another newbie, however, I also noticed that it had several negative feedback, so I considered that it was known to DT members. It's certainly a alt farm of several accounts in order to interact with eachother and promote their shilling tokens and telegram groups. Such accounts should be nuked as their whole purpose is to spam and promote illegitimate services and groups.

Good intention, but maybe it’s just me, I don’t really see the point since most of the accounts being reported here that the community actually cares about are the high-rank ones. These newbies, like I said before, will just create new accounts anyway, though of course they still deserve to be nuked. That said, thanks for bringing this up, you’re doing a great job.

There are many such accounts on the forum and all of those accounts can't be nuked, such scammers will always be on the forum and our moderators are doing their best to tackle such accounts. As long an account gets red tagged by reputable members of the forum, it's enough to as a sign to stay away from such members. However, I believe we can't stop scammers all the time, and that's why awareness and education is important to be safe from such scammers who promote illegitimate services or projects.

Moreover, if they have already come to the forum with negative tags, it will not be difficult for them to wake up all their old accounts, which were also marked earlier, in order to continue spamming their ideas and links on the forum. I don't think it's necessary to open a new topic for this, a report to the moderators is enough.

Such accounts will always exist, we must publicly shame and expose such accounts, report their posts and leave trust feedback to their profiles. Many accounts that aren't completely "new" won't get nuked, this is the only way to tackle them and ensure that they aren't scamming anyone with their schemes.

We really can't referred to them as newbies, despite they've low rank. Those accounts, registered here since 2018, would've established themselves if they were really serious being here. Anyway, they know their motifs for being here. As for promoting telegram groups, this is why I encourage anyone who's really concerned about their safety online not to respond to unsolicited DMs to them on telegram.

The issue is the forum doesn't moderate scams so in this case would likely not step in. You're going to have a better argument getting DT to step in and tag accounts like this to protect the community. Looks like 2 of the 4 accounts mentioned have been tagged. I will tag all 4 as well here in a sec.

I'm aware of this issue, and if I'm honest, it's understandable to a degree that the forum isn't able to safeguard all members from all scams, that's up to the community to be on the lookout and us as individuals to be considerate when interacting with people and services that don't look legit or too good to be true. Personally, I'm on the lookout for potential scams, AI, plagiarism and report when I find something suspicious and have enough evidence to back it up. That's where DT members step in.

In addition, we must not forget that the forum is not attended by children, but by adults who already have some finances, which means they should be able to, or at least learn how to, manage them. It is difficult to protect those who do not want to develop independently. An adult, if he considers himself such, especially on the bitcoin forum, where the ability to be his own bank is explicitly implied, must be attentive to every interaction with people. Moreover, there are tags that some people neglect and then start complaining, or in the end there is always the possibility of consultation in this section so as not to make a mistake when there is a desire to interact with someone suspicious.

Certainly, this forum isn't addressed to children, as adults in an online world full of scams, and especially when someone is involved with cryptocurrencies, it goes without saying not to attend such groups or anything that doesn't sound realistic. There are ways to spot scams in the forum, whether that's common sense, trust settings, feedback left by others or even the rank (which isn't always necessary but statistically more likely to find scams from newer accounts). Surely, sometimes it may happen to the most experienced ones, but in general, the new and the naive are those who are found themselves in such messes.
