It appears that there is a growing number of crypto recovery stories in this forum, and I would like members to be extra careful. This is something that used to be so common on review sites like Trustpilot, but they are slowly creeping in here. I hope the mods help us before it gets messy.

What happened: CHARLESLEVIN cooks up a story in a random thread claiming that a certain service, decentralizedcodexsecurity.com, helped him recover his lost crypto (4.2 BTC). I call it bullshit.

Hello Bitcoin_Arena,

Excellent catch. We have also flagged decentralizedcodexsecurity.com in our
internal monitoring network. As you correctly identified, this is a classic
  'Recovery Scam' (double-drainer) operation.

Our technical reconnaissance shows this domain was registered on January 10,
2026, and uses Cloudflare to obfuscate its backend. The tactic of using fake
success stories about 4.2 BTC is a signature we've seen in the Scorpion Hub
laundering clusters we are currently tracking in our $10B BTC Highway
  investigation.

These sites often use 'Wallet Connect' or 'Recovery Tools' that are actually
Session Hijacking scripts designed to bypass 2FA by stealing cookies. We've
added this node to our Sentinel database to correlate any incoming wallet
  addresses.

Thank you for keeping the community safe.

  Regards,

Now these crypto recovery scammers are appearing on the forum. Since many victims are scammed on various platforms and post their complaints here, these scammers see an opportunity here to scam, so they are trying to scam crypto users by making up different stories. Crypto users should be aware that these stories are all fake, these scammers have only developed scam strategies to take advantage of the situation. Because they will never be able to recover the funds.

having been victimized by delmar energy i know the hopeless feeling very well think you an never get your funds back because of transactions made in crypto
took about 600,000 USD from me deposits gone, fake promises, FCA oversight lie a failure on the financial sector. withdrawal requests have been stalled forever. blockchain analytics proves fraud as the funds were stolen not stuck. an analysis has already been made by the appropriate authorities and their schemes have already been proven. scam victims check this analysis here before making any more commitments in unsecure investments and get your case reviewed: https_//Web3investigation[.]short[.]gy/Support support your situation by documenting your supporting evidence. this is the only solution i can offer for now cause i got my money back and i see other people haven’t.

This was the last account I caught promoting such fake stories about crypto recovery. They fabricate these false stories, claiming that they lost large sums of money but were somehow able to recover them, and then spread these stories in scam accusation sections, hoping that someone will contact them, only to be robbed for a second time.

Fortunately, I reported all of their posts and they were completely removed, just as happened with the scammer you mentioned, OP.

I hope no one falls for these stories, does not click on the links they share, and does not send them any upfront payments or provide them with any sensitive information.
