I have been on the forum for almost 2 years+ but not regularly. Even after being a regular for the first 1 year, I was frustrated. The reason was, when I would read a post, I would look at the profile of the post creator before reading it. I mean, I would pay attention to when he joined the forum, how much he was posting, how much he was qualified, and what he was qualified for in the post. And whenever I would see that he joined the forum much later than me but his talent was much greater, I would feel bad, feel like a failure, and get frustrated. My interest in reading the posts would decrease.

Instead of reading or understanding the posts, these things would come to my mind: How can they develop themselves so quickly?
*Where are they studying, or what are they doing?
*Why can’t I develop myself even after trying so hard?
*What is wrong with me, or what am I missing?

I would feel very weak, lose patience, and I would think that this platform might not be for me. Not because of jealousy or hatred, but because of a bad and incomplete feeling in myself, I could not be a regular here.

I respect everyone and please do not take my words badly. I do not know if I was able to explain my messy words to you. I also understand that there is a problem with my thinking, but what can I do?

One thing about this is very simple, first I will put it to you that most people has already gained so basic knowledge about Bitcoin and other of it's relations and have level of knowledge generally as a person before joining here, they don't come here the same as every other person, they might have a lower rank here but can be highly intellectual, some has belong to other forums like this before coming, it could also be that most of the accounts you are seeing could be an alternative accounts of other higher rank members who has so much knowledge already which you shouldn't expect them to be same as you. Finally you should also understand that people can different levels of understanding, some can learn faster than others even when a new topic are introduced to them the same time, what you will do is to grow a thicker skin and let the success of others be an encouragement to you and not make you think less of yourself, that is the only way you can do keep improving and do better you are.

Being a newcomer doesn't necessarily mean starting from scratch. In fact, there are many members from other Bitcoin forums out there. The most famous is the r/bitcoin subreddit, so they actually have superior preferences over the average newcomer.

This forum is for everyone. If this is your learning curve, it's better to read extensively and ask specific questions than to give random tips you can't even validate.

You can not know what they're doing behind the scenes but you can check what they did in the forum with their post histories and their merit histories. How they posted recent months, how they got merit for their posts can help you knowing more about them.

You can do all these checking steps by yourself if you are ready to find out what happened and want to find something valuable to learn from them. If you continue to be lazy, you will not be able to learn anything.

First of all you need to set a goal and you need to be disciplined. You are willing to do and you are good at something or you want to work on something. If you do not like working on this forum and you have your focus on some other work then it will be better for you to do that work.

If you are willing to work on this forum but if you are not giving regular time to the forum. Then I will tell you that you are associating with such a person who is not aware of this work. You are getting distracted from your work by hanging out with them. You first stop hanging out with all these people and start hanging out with such a person who is connected to this forum and is a very active person in the forum. If you do not know such a person then in that case you should spend 2 to 3 hours in the forum every day. When you spend time in the forum, even if you do not read anyone's comments, you will be willing to read for a while. Try to keep yourself disciplined.

Nopes..we are different just like our skin color and regions. Mine is the opposite. When I came new here, I had the zeal to read old members post and how they got their merits. In fact, because you came to the forum before me and as a higher rank member motivates me that, if that person can achieve that rank, I can also do the same. That is because you have not realised that those people learnt. They didn't just know those things, they know in a day. It took them time to know what they know now. You actually do not know how long it took them to be that good on that subject, but one thing is for sure, they learnt, they read books, articles, journals, watched videos and asked questions. And those are what you must do. You have to be ready to learn one step at a time. No need to rush it.

Also, you can't expect to have the same technical knowledge of bitcoin with someone who is a developer if you're not one. Neither will you have the same technical knowledge of economics as someone who has already gotten degrees in economics.
Life is a learning process. You can't be successful in anything if you don't learn, and you can't learn if you're not ready to take your time and learn without rushing.
When you see someone who knows more than you, even though you're older than the person or joined the forum before them, don't feel like a failure; instead, learn from them. I have realized that I am better when I make decisions myself, take my eyes off the world rather than trying to look at how others are doing their things, I have made a lot of stupid mistakes because I look into others, I lost confidence and my strong will because of this.

I think you have a low self esteem, yea, seen yourself less and that you can't make it here, and that's a very bad one bro.

The truth is, everyone wants the best, and instead of feeling weak, turn those weakness to encouragement and tell yourself that you can do it, and that's the only magic to do it. One thing you must also k owe, if you don't read, you wouldn't know how best to create quality post and grow here, so you must read, you must remain put, you must push, and you will grow.

No need to thinks other but yourself. People learns fast and slowly and if you thinks that you learns slowly, that will not be a problem. You don't have to feels bad because we have different speeds in learning.

You are too hard on yourself. We all started just like you, void of the knowledge we have today. Don't force yourself to learn what you want to learn; learn at your own pace, not someone else's.

Only chew what you can and focus on the topics you love most. Don't force yourself to be creative; it will come naturally. Don't post for the sake of posting; have passion for what you post and be independent, not just repeating what others say.

I don't look at other posts. I first draft my post, then look at other posts to see if there are similarities. I tried to be as unique as possible and based it on my opinion and the real facts about the subjects.

There's a pace where it is very different from person to person either they learn fast or slow. It doesn't matter if you can't give good replies to anyone. Looking at your story as someone who was ones in your shoe as a newbie 4yrs again, I could understand how frustrating it can be to be always active and contributing to discussions every day for a certain period of months and not see success on the forum. Because we started like that and it wasn't easy for us, but the difference is that we never gave on the forum, we believe we will one day succeed despite how tough it was back in the days. So my sincere advice to you will be never to you give up on believing in your forum journey, because it was never easy for any one of us who are Hero and Legendary members today. So just know that consistency is the price you pay to become successful.

And just a piece of advice, the kind of mindset, behavior or attitude you have will not help you in the long run so always see the positive side, not the other way around.

If it's any consolation, let me tell you the other side too and I am sure you will feel better.

Just go and see random threads on speculation or other active boards and click on legendary or hero members who registered like 10 years ago but still post very shitty posts that don't add much value to the discussion but still they do it anyway.

So stop stressing yourself and just learn for yourself, there can be people who can be fast learners and there's someone like me who is an average in everything so take it in your own pace and don't let what others do that will affect you.
