I built a Telegram mini‑app casino called Shanghai 2049 and would love some feedback from the Gambling community.

More games are in development and will be added soon. I’m mainly looking for feedback on UX, game flow, and any bugs or issues you notice.

Since the games and platform are still under development, I would advice you provision for free money so that people can test the app conveniently without having to deposit real money. I know a lot of people here will not feel comfortable to deposit money in that app because of the risk of losing their money. Hence, since your main interest now is feedback from the community, you can create a bonus code for people to use to get deposit with which to test the platform.

Based on my check of the casino you’re currently developing, I think you should finish it completely before you officially launch it here. If you're expecting people to try out the platform in its current state, I don't think gamblers will be motivated to play on a website like this.

Also, regarding your Telegram, it seems like only Japanese or Chinese users can join the official channel, and it's mostly bots. To be honest, it’s not very attractive yet, especially since you’re just starting to promote it. Once you've finished the casino, if you have the budget, it would be better to have it managed by the reputed managers here in the forum.

Nice homepage design. Very lively and catchy when I first time visited it. I’m just looking for the games that can be browse or try without the need to create account first.

The Chinese characters that you on your banner for “Shanghai” is probably not ideal since international doesn’t understand it initially if they visit your thread without knowing your casino background.

I'm not a fan of poker, even I other casinos I have not tried poker before. Which specific games would you be interested in? I’m building this as a hobby in my free time and I code every game from scratch. If a game isn’t too complex, I can usually build it in 1–2 days. I’ll take all suggestions into account and try to add what people actually want to play.

This revolves around the Telegram mini app, right? Out of curiosity, I just checked it out, and it's in Chinese; well, at least that's what I'm seeing.
I'm not sure if that is just the intro to the app or the app itself.
Anyway, you might want to change that or at least allow the users to change it to another language, like English.

Originally I wanted to create a “shady Chinese casino” vibe for a unique atmosphere, but forum feedback showed that it only caused confusion and scared players away rather than attracting them.
So I switched back to English almost everywhere, except for some headers.

This is purely for entertainment. When players compete against each other they can also see what country they are playing against. This is not mandatory, you can just check 18+ box and skip choosing the country. You can also change it later in settings as many times as you want. To change it - simply click on your profile picture.

You have a good start with the two games. Poker game is one of the Casino game that gather gamblers in a casino so you have a God start. But the name of the casino is not pleasant to hear or read. "Shanghai 2049", legally, Shanghai being a capital city in china, should not be used to call a casino domain name except the casino is own by the government and not individual. Or the government give the license to use their name. By the way, congratulations for your brand and project.

I think the community will really like the 'we don't need your data' approach. However, dude, is what you built still in the experimental period or not? What if only a few people try it out? Wouldn't that be a big problem for you? Because the longevity of your apps depends on the number of players using them, right?

So, since you only launched last month, haven't you seen anything that needs improvement in your apps, dude? Even until now, you mentioned the number of players coming in or using your apps is still small. While I can't deny that you definitely have the skills and I can see you're observing what needs to be done, it still feels like something is missing. I can see that there's still more you can do to make it more attractive to the community here. Anyway, good luck with your apps.

Adding solo games is a good idea IMO.

I've seen startups launch here with just PVP games and always thought it was extra hard for them to retain players, because the pattern usually goes like this:

1. there is a lack of players
2. player waits for unholy amount of time for other peeps to show up
3. player gets impatient and moves on to other place

At least with solo games onboarded as well, they have it as an alternative, and players who are there to play games will be able to play swiftly.

If you want to promote your PVP games, I think holding some tournaments can be a good idea. @Little Mouse and his team has launched a lot of tourneys in the forum, perhaps he can help.
