DCA is generally reliable in almost all situations, as it spreads the risk by buying continuously over time. However, sometimes lump sums and/or deep buying can be a useful complement to DCA. Deep buying is mainly effective when someone has already made a significant one-time investment and then the price of Bitcoin suddenly drops. Such a strategy is not always effective and carries transaction risk. It is often seen that people claim to apply “buy the deep” as if it is always the right thing to do, when in fact the transaction never took place. Of course, everyone is free to choose their favorite strategy and trade-offs. However, if someone plans to adopt a deep buy strategy and then presents the situation as if no trade-offs were made, it seems a bit self-deceiving and inconsistent with using a real strategy.

The point is that everyone is aiming for some amount of profit before selling. With that, once someone reaches their profit target, they are free to sell. I will say that even if someone buys Bitcoin today and, in the next six months, it meets their profit target, they can sell. So there is no right time to sell in long-term Bitcoin investment. The point is that whenever you think of selling, ask yourself: are you satisfied with the profit you have made in your Bitcoin investment? In fact, some people don’t sell everything at once. They sell a portion of their Bitcoin investment, take profits, and still hold some. When the price of Bitcoin drops again, they continue like that selling part, investing the money in other ways, timing the market, and buying at the dip. I don’t think it is a good idea for someone to sell all their Bitcoin investment at once. The best way is to sell some portion and still own some portion.

We have heard many stories of regret after selling Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a decentralized asset. That is, you are the complete controller of your own assets. Also, Bitcoin is not affected by any inflation. As a result, it is a good investment option for people. It is not possible for small investors like us to invest the equivalent of one or two Bitcoins at the same time. So we keep buying Satoshis in small increments. Which if hold, becomes a very big asset after a certain period of time. So we should not sell our Bitcoin investment for any reason.

But if for any reason we sell our investment, then we should start investing again from the beginning. In this way, we will be able to own a good asset again over time.
Mind you, you will only be the sole controller of your funds if you hold them in a non-custodial wallet, and so many people don't understand this. They believe even if they are holding their funds in an exchange, or an online wallet, they are still the only one in control of their assets, but that is not true, because if you are not the only one who holds the private keys and the seed phrase of the wallet, you are not the only one who can access them, which is why it's always recommend for every Bitcoin investor and holder to make sure that they only keep their funds in non-custodial wallets.

Anyway, coming to the investments, I think we shouldn't sell our assets until we reach our target that we had in mind when we first bought the coins. For example, if I buy at $30k and decide that I will sell once the price reaches $110k, I will sell my assets, then I should do it at that point instead of getting greedy because you never know when the market might turn against you, so it is better that you take profit and then wait for another buying opportunity. Just like how the market dropped from $115k to $60k recently.

This is a concerning thing that has been disturbing me for a while now, we all know bitcoin is a thing of high value and possessing it is almost the dream of any man who has the right information about it
saving more bitcoin is good and we always advise each other about force sell, in fact during burron you'll hear things like "this is a tempting time but the longer you keep your bitcoin the more it will appreciate" this is true according to the history of the bitcoin network
The whole thing now narrows my burden to this question about the right time to sell putting Memento Mori into consideration,
let me know what you think and don't forget to drink more water and eat more fruits than any other food.
Bitcoin accumulation is a phase and distribution is a phase, mean they exist, mean you can ask this question and can get better answers. I am glad that you asked, because many thinks, buying is the only information they must have, they underestimate the distribution knowledge.

Well, bro, in short, you should have a target in your mind like what you want to get from your investment in how much time, what was you targeting for, to be rich, to be financially independent, to make 2x or to make some profit. The result in your mind is what determines the distribution. First find that out, then make plan and then start accumulating too.

This is a very good question and it seems, I have not seen such question before and everyone is interested to invest foe long term and not saying the time they will harvest their investment. I have seen some people would say it is good foe long term of 5 to 10 Years investment, Yes it is good for that but when the Years complete and the price is not good, will you sell it? So my prefer method of this investment is the calculation of the 4 years cycle so probably the 5 years is the best year to invest but if the person wants to invest more than those years, it is for him.
You invest in the bear market and sell in the all time high. But don't sell all as an investor.

When do you think is the right time to sell your long time saved bitcoin?

The sooner, the better, so the price goes lower, so we can buy back in later.

I don't really think that there is such thing as a right time, bitcoin investment should be based on planning, you can decide to hold for 5 to 10 years based on your investment plan and when it gets to the stipulated time you can think of selling. The best time to sell your bitcoin is when you hit your target, some investors start getting too greedy in the process of making profit and they end up losing their all their profits because they still decide to hold even after hitting their target forgetting that bitcoin is not stable, volatility is a constant dynamic im the crypto market, when you see the price going up in a bull season also have it in mind that there might be a dip around the corner and it might come when you don't expect it. when you have reached your goal or target ensure that you take your profits to avoid losing it.

When do you think is the right time to sell your long time saved bitcoin?

Whenever you feel that you've made a decent profit.
Mind you, a decent profit is subjective, which means whatever seems cool to you as a decent profit might not necessarily feel the same to me. There are not exact time, because it can be any time. But there are two things you might not want to do, which are, selling at a loss (doesn't sound wise if you ask me), selling your entire assets even when you have plans to keep holding. The concept of selling to buy later might literally take forever, and if not disciplined enough, you might just end up spending what you intend to use in buying back.
