Yes, you are not wrong, I've been ready for a long time ago before the heavy dip, altcoin had brought wreckedness in my investment few years ago, I lost everything in altcoin and I knew that the strength no longer there in altcoin no matter how promising they seems to be, they are always trying to be doing positive after listing while moving sideways till dust.

The only altcoin to look up to are the top 10 altcoin on CMC and other market capitalisation platforms.

Some altcoin are still worth holding because of the solid fundamental such as $HYPE. I might even say that it's far better than dogecoin despite not being in the top 10 because its actually a real revenue generating product.
Other than that I agree with you, flee from altcoins especially the layer 1 that don't serve any purpose beside just to fundraise.

A bunch of altcoins will always drop hard if the market turns bearish. It is same thing that we have seen that happen in previous cycles where all these weak projects disappeared withoutany trace of them again. But it still doesn’t mean all altcoins are finished, because normally during market corrections, the weaker coins suffer the most while stronger projects survive and recover later when the market bounceback. So, panic selling everything may not always be the best decision if you ask me.

Let's not talk on a general perspective because altcoins and not going anywhere and I don't think they will be anything that could cause them to all seized from being available for consideration in cryptocurrency, the only thing we may do to enhance our experience in them is by making sure to research about the particular one we are more interested in, be well satisfied with the underground background research taken and then invest moderately without being greedy for quick return after taking all the necessary risk measure.

The funniest thing about this speculation is that, you are so confident that the whole of the altcoins market is going crash which is something that is never possible and haven't happened in the past, at least no matter how the market crash hits, not all coins market can be affected we have seen some altcoins performing incredibly well during bear market, so we shouldn't be over saying things at such level, we still have more stable price coins that can resist whatever pressure that may come from the market if such time comes.

Many altcoin are doom to collapse in the whole crypto industry, I've been saying similar things before today, the altcoin market will only be survived by the strong altcoin who certainly be have strong momentum. Many signs have been shown to whoever understands it, that altcoin are ready to collapse big time, it's the end of it.

Wow, statements like this are a bit on the extreme side, sorry to say. The market has always moved in cycles and altcoins have gone through heavy drops before and still recovered later, I mean the evidence are there in the media space for you to scout through.

As of this moment of my reply, things in the crypto space still looks bearish and the way things are going, some altcoins might get hit hard, but saying everything is finished might not be accurate. Some projects will die, but strong ones usually survive and come back stronger. Although I am replying at a time of global conflict and partial economic downturn due to the US-Israel war against Iran.

Altcoins investment have never been safe for investment, instead it’s been a shambles entirely, if you’re someone who follow the market activities you will have to understand that altcoin is a very dangerous investment, right now with the situation we have with bitcoin and also considering how all this altcoins depends on bitcoin to thrive which is a very hard and difficult situation.

Personally I have never been a fan of altcoin investment, I have been more appreciative with buying and investing in bitcoin, well I can likewise appreciate ETH because that is the closest thing we have to bitcoin, but all other cryptocurrencies would probably get you messed up which is a very wrong move when you have bitcoin to invest and keep your money more secured.
