You're right, maybe later I'll try placing a bet before the game starts. And yes, I agree with you that it's best not to open the betting app in situations where we could get carried away, because we might make decisions based on our emotions without thinking things through first.

For me it makes no difference. I have watched boxing matches live on TV, in the sports bar and in the venue. It no difference in betting whether I am placing bet while watching or before fight has even started. I bet on a boxer I am a fan off. It does not matter if odds during fight are different from odds before the fight, and it does not matter for me if during fight they change (and I am given chance to cash out until I have lost). I don't visit sports events(I don't like crowded places and lots of people gathered in one place). Even if I did, I wouldn't bet on that same event. Some people get their adrenaline pumping by watching the sports events on TV, others prefer to visit the stadium. In both cases you could get an adrenaline rush(and make some harsh betting decisions). Maybe the adrenaline and the excitement are bigger when you are at the stadium with the fans(I haven't experienced this and I never will). Being at the stadium with your phone in hand and betting while watching the game live won't make your betting decisions better or worse. The most important thing is to have self-control and not let the adrenaline make decisions instead of your rational mind.

To me if the stadium is closer is better watching it live than home. i knew live involved alot of money  but there's much difference between who is live at the stadium. In there you'll see fans from the two clubs singing their clubs songs , meet different set of people alot of fun out there at the stadium.

 Also the presence of the fans will even ginger the players when they're losing  and with the fans motivation instead of losing the game could end draw.,So live is little bit good but not that good for gamblers who have stakes on the game .

It's easier said than done, but I must say that your suggestion is indeed a very nice one because when you place your bet and just close the betting app you won't feel pressured. But the problem is that alot of gamblers is used to tracking their bet when it is in-play and me personally is used to that but sometimes I might decide not to track my bet until the whole event is over but most of my friends here hardly stick to that and I feel that maybe they are not discipline enough or probably they are just being curious to see what will be the outcome, and sometimes it could be due to opportunity to make cash out so they wouldn't want such opportunity to slide.

All of these may be mistaken to mean constant self control with regards to discipline but those most strong tend to have systems in place that eliminate unwarranted risk. It resembles the wish to not get in circumstances when you suspect that your sense becomes impaired. Live events may lead to a compromised judgment since you begin to respond to your emotions instead of the previously analyzed event. Well, I've never been to a stadium to watch a major football game being played live, so I may not completely understand how it feels to be among the crowd and cheering for one's favorite team, but I honestly do not think being at the stadium live and watching the game being played on real time should affect how we place our bet or the decisions we make,

Reasons being that sport betting isn't like slot or casino games where we can do multiple bets in seconds, in sports betting, the gambler places their bet once and the watch and wait for an outcome, you can't possibly change a bet you have aleady placed except you will placing new bets which makes absolutely no sense placing multiple bets on the same team playing a match.
So, I do not think being in a stadium to watch a live match affects betting, except if we choose to deliberately allow it affect our betting decisions.
