Few weeks ago social media was buzzing with arguments that Wizkid is greater than Fela, simply because Wizkid cashed out more in this generation of digital advancement, that logic just got me thinking. Because if we go by that reasoning,  the it simply means all because Jesus didn’t accumulate wealth while on earth, that automatically translate that today’s rich pastors are greater than him, even though they are clearly operating on a foundation he laid. That sounds very funny and annoying at the same time!!! But yet we apply the same thinking in music.

Have we reached a point where money, numbers and visibility matter more than impact, sacrifice and legacy?
Or Does cashout automatically equal greatness or are we confusing commercial success with historical significance?
