Do successful traders share their strategies in trading?

A strategy is nothing without emotional control. To be profitable, you need nerves of steel when the market gets volatile and that’s the hardest part to master.

I agree with you that the most difficult thing in trading is not creating a strategy but rather managing and controlling oneself and one's emotions. A strategy can develop naturally as knowledge increases, but self-control is a matter of habit and awareness of the risks involved. It's pointless to have a good strategy if you don't have good risk management, because in the end, your profits will be lost.

Idk, but my understanding is that majority of traders who are truly successful that don't reply on selling courses or selling mentorships to make money do not share their strategies. It's a very competitive space because it is zero sum such that for you to make money, there needs to be someone at the other end of the trade that would take a loss. So most people, when they find their edge in the market, they don't reveal it or maybe they only reveal it after max extracting from the strategy.

This has been going on in my mind troubles me a lot ,then I decided to bring it in the forum here to get some humble directions and good replies ,can a good trader of 3 years of experience share their strategies of successful trade? Then if they share their strategies why do we still have many unsuccessful traders of 5 years experience who still failed in trading yet no profit?

It is important to note that there are somany things involved in having a success.  It is one thing to be told about the success skillsvand it is another thing to make it work.  Plus even if they even tell you about the skill they will certainly not give you all. They will withhold the vital ones they feel should be as a good secret to themselves.

This is a very simple question, yes they do share their strategy but not their experience. You knowing the strategy won’t guarantee you any profit , but what will do is your experience and the discipline added to the strategy, that’s why we have so many unsuccessful traders in this space . This is why is good to focus on knowledge mainly than to focus on the profits more .
