In the future, like 2028/2029, we will talking about the altcoins season happening, not at this time the market is bleeding, and there is clear chance we are heading to bearish market when Bitcoin and altcoins decreases tremendously that we never bargained for, leaving many investors at losses till the time they recover their losses, for those that want to hodl, not to sell at loss side

By 2028/2029, the next projected Bitcoin halving would've already taken effect. Assuming history repeats itself, BTC will turn bullish in those years. Altcoins might follow suit. Only if there's enough demand from investors. Because alts' only hope is for widespread adoption of institutional investors. Retail investors alone wouldn't be enough to propel the altcoins market towards new heights.

In the meantime, you can keep buying "cheap" altcoins to sell them once the market turns bullish again. Altcoin season can happen when you least expect it. Better be prepared, just in case.

Maybe on that year might also a chance for altcoin to pump, since if we look at the current situation now. It seems that season struggle to happen because there are lots of issue which bother the mind of investors nowadays.

But yeah people could buy their desired top coins now and better don't want for bullish season for alts to came, since if they act when altcoin season already start to exist maybe they might just caught up by FOMO and Fuds which is dangerous then could result to capital lose if market suddenly experience some corrections or declines.

For now, because of the market condition, I agree with you that it will not even start now, but once everything bounces back in the market, then we should expect the altcoin season to also bounce back because almost everything will bounce back in the market, and this is what we are supposed to be taking note of. The market is not something that will bounce back like magic, but I am very sure that when it happens, nobody will be able to tell when it will happen.

And Bitcoin is the moving train of the market, so there is a lot more for us to understand. Once Bitcoin starts going up, then others will start following, but the issue now is that you don't even know when the price will start going up, and it's simple if it is happening to Bitcoin, then it is happening to altcoins that's how it works.

We should give it some time because it's not going to be that easy for the long term. We should focus on how to get better results on the long term by being able to wait. Most people just fail to wait and for that reason we are not getting the best results.

Altcoin season will not happen right now, but it's also not impossible for it to happen in the near future, it will take some time. So if you really want altcoin season then you should be able to focus on the next bull run. Considering the biggest bull runs always happened a year after the halving, and the next halving happens in 2028, then we can safely assume that the next bull run will be happening 2029 so we should be able to wait for that long.

I am certain that alt season will come again but this time with an entirely new wave outside the most expected memecoins, we may see the latest AI project and coins heading that alt season this time this is because AI-based coins are the new trends of the moment and also have some capacity that the memecoins wave lacks, so whenever we see another alt season I am certain that this projects are going to be in the center if that bull moment.

Why so much hope for AI-based projects and the high expectation you put on them? They are somehow currently trending now. In fact, the trend is no longer that strong. If there will be any altcoin season, we should expect it for some major altcoins which have something to offer, and the memecoin market is always carried along, if not almost all of it, including new ones, but some don't last long; once there is a massive pump, they start dropping again after a short period of time.

Everyone seems to admit that AI bubble is going to burst, as value of it is inflated artificially by tech companies. Value estimation is based on how much it could replace workforce, but at the moment it seems it's just creating some scripts faster, that humans need to double check the code any way, and sometimes even rebuild it. And when there is no room for errors, relevance of AI is reduced to helping with very small parts of the job, that are fast to confirm.

Also majority of the AI services enjoying this trend are just reselling existing AI tech in different shapes.

AI has definitely been a trend for a while now, but past trends are not how you predict next trends, and why would you think that current AI bubble wouldn't burst before next altcoin season starts?

I hate to burst the bubble of those people who keeps on hoping the altcoin season.

That happened from 2024-2025 and so forget about it for this 2026. It's already done and everyone who's still in that expectation needs to forget about it.

It's not the end of the world because we still have the upcoming years to come although we don't know if your alts will still pump by that time.
