I’m posting this to warn others about my experience with Rollbit and what I believe is an unfair confiscation of funds.

I’ve had a Rollbit account for multiple years, originally created as a German citizen back when Germany was not a restricted country. Over the years I played on the site heavily and wagered a large amount. Like most long-term players, I am down overall and was never consistently profitable, so there is no issue here involving winnings or abuse.

I am currently living in the US and did use a VPN to access the site. This was never a problem for years. Deposits, wagering, withdrawals, and even support interactions all worked normally, and I was never warned or restricted in any way.

Recently, my account was suddenly flagged for KYC. Rollbit does not allow uploading US documents, which made it impossible to complete verification. Before the account was locked, I requested a withdrawal, which was approved and paid out. Shortly after that, my account was locked and then banned for accessing the site from a restricted country, without any prior warning.

At the time the account was locked, there was still around $1,500 left on the account. That balance became inaccessible only because I could no longer log in. I repeatedly asked support to allow me to withdraw this remaining amount.

Rollbit now claims that my account has no remaining balance and that all withdrawals were already processed. This is not true. I never received the remaining funds, and they have not provided any transaction hash or proof of payment. After repeating the same statement, they stopped replying.

They had no problem accepting deposits for years and processing a withdrawal right before the lock, but then enforced the rules without warning and kept the remaining balance. I am not disputing the ban or asking for the account back. I am only asking for the release of funds that were clearly present on the account before it was locked.

I have the full email conversation with support and can provide screenshots showing what was withdrawn and what remained. If Rollbit wants to resolve this, they can either show proof of payment or send the remaining balance to a crypto address.

Tricky case. I mean you really played with fire there tbh. Not only is using a VPN not allowed...

... you also played from a banned region:

That's like 2 mistakes in a row and both can lead to losing your account. I mean the situation with the 1500$ of course is annoying, but obviously it's easy for rollbit to basically state their terms and be right. I don't see much you could do there, as annoying as it might be. But yeah, it's basically just a warning then.

Seems like they essentially stopped responding and actually going to steal the money. I exchanged a quick message on Twitter to the CEO (Rolbit Razer), who said that he would take a look but hasn't responded for multiple days as well. For context, I have played on the site for multiple years without issues and have lost a lost money on it. Now, they are lying to me and literally stealing my money. Highly recommend anyone to stay far away from the site.

You should have withdrawn all your money from the platform after knowing that you were now a resident of a restricted country. This is pretty clear in their terms of service. Why did you take chances, yet you knew what could happen?

Anyway, begin by posting more screenshots i the accusation/OP, and also we hope you get helped by the support. Such inconveniences suck, but they are avoidable if you try to follow the terms of service.

Unless you have verified permission to play from the restricted region, you have no case here. You were knowingly breaking the sites ToS as stated by AHOYBRAUSE and will likely not be compensated by the site as they are well within their rights.

I wish regulation wasn't an issue and we were all allowed to spend out money as we see fit, but unfortunately we are too retarded for all that according to our governments. They think they are entitled to a piece of everything we ever earn. Basically we are just borrowing their money is how I view it.

You might get lucky and Rollbit says give us your addy, but don't hold your breath. Hopefully lesson learned.

you fucked around, and you found out. and i don't think you can say you was never warned, when they have it clearly written in the terms.

They had no problem accepting deposits for years and processing a withdrawal right before the lock, but then enforced the rules without warning and kept the remaining balance. I am not disputing the ban or asking for the account back. I am only asking for the release of funds that were clearly present on the account before it was locked.
your best chance to get your remaining balance is to send an email to compliance@rollbit.com and hope they look into it properly and refund you. it's a long shot, but better than not trying.
