The monthly polls are back after skipping January as I already said a month or so ago.  

Anyway, just by looking at the monthly chart, I don't think BTC has had 4 red monthly candles in a row before.  So I'm thinking 5 red monthly candles should be very unlikely right..?  

But what do you guys think?  Will Feb end in the green or in the red?

I have looked at the monthly chart of Bitcoin on app I'm using to analyze price but it's only showing me the chart from 2022 till date but from the image you shared, I can see that there are 6 red candles between 2018 and 2019 although the candles didn't show much momentum as these recent 4 monthly candles. Apart from the 2018-2019 which I'm seeing on this chart, there was no other conservative 4 red candles in a row.

What I think is that this month is going to end in red, very unlikely but if the support zone which price is currently reacting to now, if it get broken, it's very likely that this month candle will still end in red.

Perhaps the recent pullback wasn’t too but still on a high side however rebound is not expected yet in my opinion instead we might struggle to maintain the price within $70k to $80k and will stay there in a matters of weeks because if it goes down below that then it will go down to probably $68k or more to $66k price range the the rebound will be coming up next. This is just my opinion since we’ve been on a monthly straight red we can still maintain red for weeks more.

Hey tokeweed, long time. With no other reason than the general doom-and-gloom sentiments I'm getting from work and MSM, I'm thinking there's a bit more pain this month. The push toward 100k in January took me by surprise but I think that just served to exhaust the bulls a little and they're going to knuckle down this month.

The Bitcoin market in January was moving in a good direction and many thought that the market might not be able to enter the highs. However, the volatility that the Bitcoin price has seen in February really shows the beginning of a bear market. We have seen the market enter $74k, although I can already see the market going up again and the candles have green candles. However, at this early stage of the market, it seems that we may not be able to go higher anymore and the market may move towards a recession. I think the Bitcoin price will probably end in February with a red candle because according to the market situation, it seems that the market will go down.

Last month ended in a bloodbath for Bitcoin. I think we are still going to continue in that line until the end of the month. It might try to recover a little, maybe push back to above $80,000, but it won't stay long in the green zone; it will just be rotating in a particular range. Maybe we can now officially say that we are in the bear season.

The current situation in the Bitcoin market is very alarming, I can't imagine that the price of Bitcoin will go up. I have some doubts that the price of Bitcoin will go up? Because we have already ended the bull market, the current correction is most likely. Sounds alarming if you have trading perspective then try to deal with Bitcoin for short term, because those declines would provably hurt your positions. But if you are dealing with Bitcoin for long term there's provably less stress to get and still you can see those current situation happen somehow a great opportunity to buy Bitcoin again at cheapest rate it reach.

There's provably a good chance that for now we might see Bitcoin stays at those figures you have mentioned.

But also there's still great chance that in future, although we don't know it will came we will see Bitcoin will cross again at six digit figures. For now let's see how far Bitcoin will drop or pump this month of February.

Red recovery I vote for, so negative but with enough fight that it could be taken positively for the BTC price action that follows thereafter.
    If you want a simple rule for where FEB could tip into positive I would say it has to resolve positively on at least a weekly average, thats a pretty low bar and BTC is failing that presently.  It would take 84.4k to register that positive today and we're not near hence I presume February will be a fight on evidence thus far.

The price of Bitcoin has changed a lot in February, especially as the market has been trending downwards. Although the market is currently trending upwards, having risen slightly from $74k, the market is still in the same situation and could touch $70k. However, I think there could be some excitement in the market towards the end of February, especially above $90k. If I am being honest, there could be a recession and Bitcoin could move further down.

Looking at the current market sentiment, I still see that it tends to be bearish - we might continue to stay within the price range of $76k-85k USD. Although the market may rise slightly at times, it is only temporary and appears more like a small rebound. Most likely, we are still in the red zone, and that may persist until the end of the month, that's what I think.

So far, only 5 people have voted, and I am one of them. But I was quite surprised by the result.

Unlike before in your topics. There will always be some people who remain optimistic and believe that the market will be green no matter how bleak the situation may be. But this time the situation seems to have changed, and even the most optimistic are quietly admitting that the market has entered bear season.

The market often tend to go against the majority, and when no one believes that bitcoin will rise anymore, will the opposite happen?

I voted green. The market is close to major support, and even if it will paint another bear flag, there is a high chance that it won't break down within a month, so it should paint a green, even if underwhelming, candle.

Hey man, how's it going?  And yes, I still make bets here and there if I see some decent spots.  Mostly in the UFC, some EPL and forcing some bets in F1.  Lol.

But yeah, mostly trading at Hyperliquid and airdrop hunting.  Waiting for this one protocol to go online to farm.    Feeling the airdrop is gonna be good...  And I guess also waiting for everything to bottom out so I could go all in BTC.  It's gonna be allowed to be used as collateral at Hyperliquid this year together with HYPE.

Yeah bearish trend will provably continue to occur if there's no positive situation that can change the sentiments of people, but we are still in early days of February so maybe there's some good changes will happen on upcoming days.

Its quiet intriguing to follow the market movements these days, because its good to know on how far Bitcoin will go this month if we can see a full bearish trend or market will eventually starts to recover. But looking forward to see some green candles this month.

The market ended 2025 with negative growth, and in the first month of 2026, bitcoin also fell by more than 10% according to Coinglass. In addition, the macroeconomic situation does not seem to have improved  and there is still much instability. Therefore, while I do not expect Bitcoin to continue falling, it is difficult to be optimistic that it will grow this month.

Like everyone else, I also voted for "red" However, I have also seen some people predicting a Bitcoin recovery this month, and I hope they are right. I'm wrong.

As expected, February is meant to be a bullish month for the market to rise and break the resistance from achieving $90,000 and also go more further beyond the previous $93,000 but this is crypto and we know how the whole thing could react at any time upon many influx or event of breaking news, even though they are meant to be temporary effect, we are more inclined to see the market more bullish than this though.

But within now and the end of the month, the market may break above $90,000 but there is every possibility that it may still come down back to $80,000 or even more lower, because it show that we are already getting off the bull season and the on set of the bear market, but as we may always have it, that we all can do our own research and figure something out form the market chart as a possible indication for this month market performance and expectations.

My sentiment for February is going to be red, all other months we've predicted to move bullish, most of the time, the market goes down to be a lot bearish, if we don't go below $70K at the end of the month, we might just end within the same range, or fortunately nothing more than $83K, still isn't bullish to me?

January started with massive rise in the priice of Bitcoin but ended in massive dump signaling how uncertain the market is at the moment. But one thing that is clear is that February is going to be a green month as the price is projected to stay above $80k, a confirmed recovery from the present dump. Besides, the market is not expected to continue dropping least wr see price below $69 this early time in the year, if that happens, the bottom will be scary.

^  Yeah..  BTC is due for a green month even if an underwhelming one.  The bears can't win 'em all.   

The bears won convincingly last month so it is normal to expect the bulls to also win this month to avoid people losing confidence in bitcoin. Even if this year will be a bear year, some months will be positive and February is one of such months. Gauging from geopolitical developments, US will not be invading Iran as both sides have agreed to go back to negotiation. So there will not be any new war this month which is good for bitcoin.

I have not reached my target in terms of bitcoin held in my private wallet, so this period of price drop is a golden opportunity for me to get more cheap coins, so I have been doing that religiously. I don't know when the price will rise but since I'm not a short term investor, I'm good with the drop in price.
