As a leader it's crucial to first take care of yourself before anybodelse, givers are leaders, people go to them for counseling, funds, growth strategies etc. giving has multiple contests, a growth strategist could be giving out mental models to help organisations grow, he/she would never lack at being the best in the profession. The saying "Givers never lack" is a popular saying gotten from the bible. With Christianity it is believe that if you give, you will get it back in thousand folds but the truth of the saying is, God will never let you lack, it was never about humans giving you back in return. Many misunderstand that word, so they expect when they are in need, that they deserve someone to give to them too.

Yes I think the gospel preaches it and so it is indeed a reality of life but when you give, you may expect your manna to come not from a man or expecting returns from those you helped.
That should be what your bible explains to you.
As I have also been experienced, being successfully favoured in that mysterious ways could be as a result of your offerings in acocunts to how you have been of help to others.
So the grace of giving rewards rewards you. I also heard generous givers never lack.

I know looking at the way things are going in the society now our days one will be tempted to question the saying that says givers never lack as most givers easily ends up  lacking without even getting help from any where. Yes any one doubtful is not to be blamed but one important thing to know in life is, you can never get what you don't give because receiving comes as a result of what we give and not what receive. So for the fact that we give and lack never mean we should stop giving as giving is the key to open doors be it now or later.

I should also expect you to put efforts on having backup source of income incomes just in case.
So while you are giving out, it should be after the budgets had been made and same time not affecting your savings.
There are really lot of givers who gives willingly but because they did not utilize their opportunities then durability should always be the fear not to give more than you can afford to spend out. Not for impression at all. You can still give and lack when you don't plan yourself until the dawn.

Having a suitable backup fund is the first to consider in case of necessity because its not compulsory that those you came for when they had nothing most come for you when you are in same situation. To me i see giving as a necessity even not all times but when am touched to do so, yes giving without proper knowledge on how once financial strength is at times is very dangerous as it ends up getting one back to zero but one must not forget to give when one is free from much expense

I really believe in that saying, I don't know what kind of mindset people have, but in the family and religious teachings that I received it does perform very well in the long run, in addition to having a supportive one also has a strong desire in us to be able to share, do you feel happy when you give to others when they smile as they say thank you to you, there is a kind of encouragement for us to want to share more, a kind of spiritual and also moral support that moves one's intellectuality so that it can have better productivity in trying to pursue a career.
In the prohibition when giving do not expect us to be given back by the person next time, it teaches us to be sincere, and also not to be jealous about what we have given to anyone because it will give birth to arrogance and hatred for the person we have given.

In this life, you come, and you go. No one should be held accountable because he did not turn up for you, while you did when you had the chance. The reason for giving is for you to give freely, and expect nothing in return that is giving. Giving and expecting something in return is not giving, it is loaning.

However, it is a good virtue to return help to someone generous to you. It must be come from the heart, not as if you are repaying a debt.

I sincerely don't know the right board to post this but since it is a view of mankind, I decided that the discussions involved in the societies too is relative to my thoughts.
I was thinking if anyone can intellectually have same mindset with me that the phrase that says giver's never lack  is nature of life that seems reality.
In the same vein, when you begin to elevate and glowing as much as you are giving and you forgot to also make plans ahead of your retirement there in the future, there would surely going to be a lot to regret from your past because your failure to invest becomes your doom crippling your financial status.
Maybe somewhere in the future the worse unforgettable story of your life will be how much you have helped people and no one wants to help you while you are responsible of your predicaments over lost of self control and lack of responsible plans.

Giver's never lack lies in the equations of Goals + Efforts + Opportunity + Durations.
While the future remains inevitable, living on concious keeps you balance and ready for the critical terms of inflations and retirements.

Being generous feel like a crown for cheerful givers. It has also been in record about some givers who actually gives others and expects a return of payback from those they had helped, so assumed the helps they offers to be wings of investing through others and at the time of needs, those you help could not be there instead they watch you fall.

Helping others should not imply that you will need payback, if you can not do it freely, then don't start. If you don't have enough to give freely and willingly, don't do it because at your need will be no one there.
There are also ungrateful people to receive. Belive it or not, generosity had set a lot of people backward.
Don't forget to invest and don't give with expectations of returns.

I would say that a corollary of that saying could be that people who give mostly work hard to ensure that they have more to give because they're concerned about the people who are in need. So in a sense, others take note that it looks as if they always have enough to give.

Nothing should be seen as small when it comes to giving though I do not support giving and expecting something back in return that's not the essence of giving in the the first place cause you don't give to people who you expect to give you back because it's no longer giving but if you must give you should give freely and expect reward from your maker. People who turn up for you in your dark moments it's good you reciprocate back in return if you are in the position to help but if you are not it should not be a problem and nobody should make it a force.

Giving back to the society is what leadership is all about, the giving of a political leader I different from that of an individual and like you said giving is in different means which mental giving and experts advice is one of such ways and means of giving, but the giving in the context of this thread is more kf material giving and not skills or other form of none materials.
