Giver's never lack

I don't really know where people got the idea that givers never lack. There is no way you are not going to lack as giver if you have a lot of ingrates around you. There are people that no matter what you give them, you are surely going to see them coming back to beg for more even if you went as far to teach them how to make money for themselves so that they are not going to lack.
Givers  will lack when they give more than they supposed to give out to the needy while people will always come back for more.

Maybe it is the biblical belief that givers never lack. Most Christians believe when you give you will get in thousand folds from God. I don't doubt what they believe because I also have what I believe in. Unfortunately, not everything should be about giving. There is a time when we do not have much, we mustn't give in that situation. Christians have allowed their believe put them in situation where they interpret the bible wrongly. It is better to give and expect nothing in return. Hoping for a return is no longer giving, it is loaning.

When something is over so it becomes a problem there is nothing bad in giving but not giving foolishly hoping for a return tomorrow because you over heard your pastor says that givers never lack, most pastors who preaches this don't even have a heart of giving most of them just use it to collect money from their poor members and when a member needs financial help they pray for him but when a pastor is in need member contribute money for him, I have known of someone who gives but now he has nothing so this life we should use wisdom to follow up somethings.

Be careful with who you give to. Some people don't deserve your help, neither attention. They will just consume everything they can from you, and discard you as you were nothing in the end. Then you will keep asking yourself why that happened, without findind any reasonable or logical explanation behind.

Give to those who deserve being given. We are here to develop wisdom, that is, to respect and protect ourselves against those who are just lurking around to take advantage of the good will which still exist in the world.

I agree and this is why some givers are also being abused due to their kindness and the urge to help anyone on different situation. But, they also know and can discern if they're being used and there's a need to stop the help that they're giving to that abuser. They're just typically kind even if they're being abused but that might be the last one time that they're going to help if that abuser doesn't stop the obvious. I think all of us have that thought of giving only to the deserving ones and if they're so grateful, we'd be happy to give more.

That's a common knowledge that givers never lack but if it's given to the abusers, they're going to lack due to the fact that the giver won't be grateful anymore. I think it's all about the karma or spiritual belief why many think of that.

This is true and that's abuse.
You know what to do when someone is starting to abuse your kindness even if you've got a lot to give but, not everyone deserve to be given with what you have.

Exclusively talking of the biblical importance of giving,  let us take it to our normal day to day activities,  the life we see gives back what ever we give. That is why the natural law of nature says what goes around comes around, which means what so ever you do to people must be done to you be it good or bad and nothing can change it, on that note I will say giving is a good practice all needs to learn and it most be at your own comfort and not to please others.

It is important to give, but not everybody has a giving heart, there's nothing bad if you can try to reshape how we think and have a giving mindset towards giving to others who don't have what we have, some may see giving us loss to them, while to others, they are only helping humanity and their fellow brothers in need because of the situation they are passing through and think of putting themselves into the same condition if they were in their place instead and needed help.

I sincerely don't know the right board to post this but since it is a view of mankind, I decided that the discussions involved in the societies too is relative to my thoughts.
I was thinking if anyone can intellectually have same mindset with me that the phrase that says giver's never lack  is nature of life that seems reality.
In the same vein, when you begin to elevate and glowing as much as you are giving and you forgot to also make plans ahead of your retirement there in the future, there would surely going to be a lot to regret from your past because your failure to invest becomes your doom crippling your financial status.
Maybe somewhere in the future the worse unforgettable story of your life will be how much you have helped people and no one wants to help you while you are responsible of your predicaments over lost of self control and lack of responsible plans.

While the future remains inevitable, living on concious keeps you balance and ready for the critical terms of inflations and retirements.

I think this phrase 'givers never lack' doesn't apply to all givers. Some people give because they want to please others, some feels that they ought to give more like a sense of responsibility. When this becomes the case, you will find yourself giving out of your need and suffer in want, you might even beg or borrow from others what you just gave out.
In my opinion, give out of your surplus!!

The words giver never lack is a self explanatory words that anyone can easily give a meaning to it, ofcourse givers never lack is just extraordinary and natural that when you give you must receive in another way round sometimes I do it and I will even receive double of what I give out ,so this is just naturally and nothing changes that situation, sometimes as a normal human don't give out what you don't have if not you will leave to regret it, you will understand the act of giving you can't use because of the words giver never lack and you started given resklessly losing your sense why giving no ,no this everything has procedures check very well before you give if not the story of those that beg to receive will change to be yours, so in conclusion guide your behavior very well before given, check evaluate your self before giving.

All I’ll say is that ,it’s good to give and be generous but do not do it at your own dissatisfaction. Care for others but never neglect your own self because at the end of the day ,you’re all you’ve got and this is something I’ve learnt over the years, you’d be surprised how fast some people forget the good you’ve done for them, you can be generous but you should also be wise as well, so people don’t take your kindness and generosity for granted, set boundaries and stand by them and also avoid people that have entitlement mentality because those type of folks are the worse people that a person can have around, they are never satisfied or appreciative and the painful part is that they might not even have any meaningful impact in your life, they are just there to leech of you, avoid those type of people.

Generosity isn't a bad thing, but for me, I have limit on how I help people, this is not coming from the angle of stingy but I have been in a position were I helped someone but anytime I need help and I call same person I helped I  practically get any help from them, in this our society if people finds out that you're a giver, they bill you without thinking that you have your own responsibility to also meet, I have come across an ungrateful person after that day I regretted helping the person, helping people is a good gesture but know your boundaries.

Generosity is vital things that should be considered and be practice most especially in the countries that are currently in situation of hardship. And despite the hardship in the nation, but due to the habit of some human beings among us, generosity is can not longer be practice by some individual, because some people are not feel ashamed of begging and not to find a way of survival for them self and mount pressures on others.

Generosity is something that spread love and caring among the individuals in the community and it's also diminish hunger and poverty in society, it can be practice by anyone not only wealthy people.
