The system is already designed to make one to be greedy and think that they can win big in gambling. My reasons for getting involved in what so ever i wish for may be different from others as what gives me joy may be a source of anger to you but the need to state the obvious is very necessary. Op if you are active in the gambling discussion section you must have seen things like this being talked about over and over again. You can tell people this things and they would still end up doing the opposite because of what you told them. All that you have listed is soposed to be know by many gamblers now, and it should be like a footprint that will help their gambling journey, but it looks like many don't see this things listed here as anything or they are just being ignorant of that. But for me I have known this factors for long now and It has been guiding me not to over spend or see gambling as a source of income and so on. What the OP writes is not really a secret. Everyone knows that betting and gambling cannot be reliable sources of steady income. But the fact is that this is often the only way that provides a chance to break out of the vicious circle of poverty for those people who simply have no other choice due to objective circumstances (born in a poor country where it is impossible to get a proper education, it is impossible to find a decent job, it is impossible to start a business, etc.)
