Normally there are a lot of scam activities going on, on bybit peer to peer trading, which a lot of person has already fallen victim of those scams. And it is longer  news that scammers are frequently upgrading their scamming skills from time too time. So let's be very careful when trading peer to peer on bybit, because bybit is now the center of scam for scammers via peer to peer trading.

There was a time i once encountered something of this such,  where the vendor clicked paid why he or she has not paid me yet. Here is what happened, I placed a trade after reading the vendor's terms and condition. All of a sudden the vendor sent me a long note of his terms and condition which was never mentioned on his profile. So after reading through the note the vendor sent to me I was not cool with everything that was written on that note so I asked the vendor to cancel the trade, that I am  not longer interested in trade, gest what the vendor did, the vendor went I clicked paid.

I wrote to the vendor Immediately that I know the game he or she want play, funny enough I am not in a hurry for this trade so I have all your time. And I existed the platform. after some minutes I received a credit alert in my account and the money came from the vendor. I just ignored the vendor and focused on what i was doing, this vendor wrote all the apologies on this world I never gave him or her a listening ear, because I was determined to deal with the the vendor. So Since I was not responding to his or her chats the vendor started calling my cellphone. Normally I planned to hold the vendor coin for at least one week before releasing his or her coin. But the way the vendor was pleading I felt pity for him/her and released the coin. So Sometimes we have to deal with those set of vendors who has intentions to scam other people mercilessly Without pity

If you're not going to switch exchange then be proactive when conducting any P2P trade.

I had an experience with one of the vendors today, though he didn't do it without asking, but wanted to pay a lower amount for whatever excuse he gave as the reason why my money should be cut, same thing happened twice from two merchants in a row. I understand the risk that comes with being careless during P2P, I stay informed and not in a hurry to process any trade, to avoid what shouldn't have happened.

I have seen a lot of scam attempts from the use of Bybit exchange to the extent that i almost forfeit it use for another one, because there are many scammers there who are ready to piss you off, but we can be more profession in our operations by making use of the filter option under the p2p section for our own good.

Just follow through the procedures as I've indicated from the screenshots and avoid all other irrelevant ads that could be scammers form the exchange.

Few more tips i must add for us.

1. Avoid express p2p
2. Select adds that tally with the exchange rate.

Even with this method you haven't gotten rid of them because they are everywhere, when someone go that place is pointing they would see some of the things the exchange would ask you on the filter and the only one that's strong a bit is the second to the last option on the top but still I don't trust it because there are a lot of scammers operating within that setting on the P2P end so actually bybit shouldn't be rely to do your filtering because they will not assure you all to be a genuine vendors because it will be mixed with those ones we are scared of and also the ones who are genuine on there business.

So let's be very careful when trading peer to peer on bybit, because bybit is now the center of scam for scammers via peer to peer trading.

I'm still wondering if bybit is the only exchange that accept P2P, the last time I checked there are other exchanges out there that accept P2P trade, we have bitget, gate.io, roqqu and so on. But I don't know that thing that keeps attracting people to keep trading in bybit regardless of the scam cases, honestly I haven't come across any scam while trading on bybit and if they eventually get to me then I will just leave them for another exchange. You know if I'm to make review about bybit I can't possibly say that it is a bad place for P2P trade, I don't just know why people keep tagging them as bad exchange, I think we are just being careless that's it because I have been using bybit for years now and it has been working smoothly for me.
