Unfortunately the addicted ones have refused to stop chasing their losses but still continue because they have hopes of winning whereas they are getting over addicted, if only they can realize their mistakes to save those time and money and re-strategies it will be of greater advantage to them.

In gambling, in other for you not to be one of those that chases their loses, you have to study in other to acquire more knowledge and be well equiped to be successful in gambling, gamblers that learn their lesson in a hard way now control themselves and advises the up coming ones in other for them not to fall into what they have passed through, because gambling wins are not guaranteed.

I've known people that continue to chase the lottery numbers that they have been betting every now and then.

They think that if they miss one day of betting it, they're likely to win and that mindset continues to run in their minds and that's why they chase it.

And in short, they lose everyday because we know that not everyone who bets in it wins. It's a rare scenario that someone wins there.

That's why having that chasing mindset will put you to the bad situation that you'd feel bad and have hard time in accepting that you should give it up.

Good, right? It has also happened to me with these people that if they think they will miss a day when they put their numbers, maybe that day will be the lucky day that they will get out and they will have missed the opportunity. Crazy how small the world is. Which country are you from? Oh, I'm from Italy and many people, let's say they play the lottery, think so.

I guess that it's within the culture of most countries about the lotteries. That's why they feel bad when they miss a single day for how big the jackpot is.

That's the mindset that's being injected by the lottery to the bettors of it. If you're not going to bet, you'll have that regret later.

And that's what it do to our brains and they're not aware of that. I think it's for in general of gambling but that's just to be more specific.

Most of the newer ones who were lucky to have won something good during their early days in gambling tend to be more associated with this whole “chasing loses” because that first win they experienced made them have the mindset that more would come if only they just keep gambling. So to them they they are not chasing losses, they are gambling normally with the hope that a win would come and give them back all that they have lost.

This is correct about win and losing in gambling which we have exhausted it in couples of discussions about gambling in this board. Every person who gamble wants to win, it makes them feel lucky and happy when they're winning but nobody wants to lose,. nevertheless, you must accept the losses when it occurs because it's part of the game. The moment a gambler doesn't agree with this two terms working uncontrollably but by chance, he would ultimately have the trigger to always chase his losses and we know what the end to that is gonna be.
