The issue is addiction like, you want to quite but when you think about the amount in losses since you have being chasing the losses from previous games is more and more complicated at that point,  and you only quite with a strong will drive that take you out of the scene.

Gamblers will keep on thinking that their next game is going to give them the winning to recover from their previous losses, and sometimes this ended them in addictions asides from they money losses.

Is totally a waste of time and money to try to recover from a bad situation using that same approach that got into the situation in the first place.

Its already a long time thing on gambling, I guess this is just some ego since just hate on losing, we dont really wanted to just try out some games and just accept defeat that easily we will already going to try to chase the lose and try to win it back even though we might just be digging a deeper hole in the end, but I we just dont want to lose so easily without making some kind of effort probably it is mostly on men that is gambling that is why a lot of men are mostly the one that is getting addicted on gambling since they are mostly the one that is falling to this kind of gambling trap. You are very correct, gambling is a game of win and loose. Some time ago, a friend of mine gave someone some money to predict and place bet for him, the person played the first slip and  he lost, he gave him another money to bet the second time, he predicted and played again, he lost, my friend became angry why he is not winning. No bet is sure and any  game can fail which means their is no guarantee of winning in any bet therefore gamble responsibly and take some brake when the game seems unfavourable to you.

Threads and advise like this will keep coming and many more of it but gamblers will keep falling for this loss chasing. It takes a very determined gambler who knows the effect of chasing loses not to continue doing that. It is the big factor that causes the huge lose gamblers go through because if you lose once and stop, you can reorganize yourself back next time and have better luck but if you force your luck on the loses already made, you can keep going round the loses until you lose all. The saying is long overdue not to chase loses.
