Just like you and I, he has the right to own Bitcoin and the fact that he knew about it in 2011 doesn't mean he's involved in the creation of Bitcoin, i see many bloggers on the media saying he's Satoshi but I doubt if such claim is true, the mystery behind the name Satoshi is unknown, even after the Epstein claim, you'll figure out that more names would be linked to Satoshi in the future but without any tangible evidence they're all false and considered as mere speculations.

This whole show is dragging for too long and these files become more and more of a point in which there is sooo much in them some info here may be just pumped up through the roof, and I hope that some of it is just fabricated (for the well-being of those people in these files)..

I would at least not look into it from the BTC perspective, god no.

What makes you think a serial rapist and human trafficker like Epstein was part of Bitcoin’s foundational development. Most of the foundational developers like Hal , Satoshi and others owns an account here on the forum not to mention of the high standards these guys hold with regards to decentralisation and limiting coercive power through cryptography.

Epstein live is the opposite, he relied deeply on secrecy in order to exploit others, while cypherphunks preached privacy for protecting people from abuse of power, Epstein logic is keeping things secret in order to exploit and abuse people, so IMO, he can never be part of foundational developers.

Who knows. He may even have had an account here in Bitcointalk. You woulddn't blame the man if he though Bitcoin was not worth investing in earlier on. I'm sure there were early users who never saw Bitcoin as an investment instrument but just a means of transferring value. I'm surprised Mr Epstein knew about it considering the fact that seemed more into human trafficking and sex trafficking. On a second thought, a man like that may actually have been on the lookout for a payment system like Bitcoin which he may have believed would give him more anonymity while covering payments trails from the rich folks he dealt with. A pity he didn't consider monero for the job or maybe he did.

From everything out there he was just early aware and not an OG builder.

Dude knew about BTC early and talked with tech folks maybe traded it.... maybe threw money at some crypto plays  but there’s zero proof he helped create Bitcoin or had any core role in its development.

No code no whitepaper input and no Satoshi ties.

Calling it “brilliant but flawed” and flipping trades doesn’t make you a founder. Plenty people doubted BTC back then and still don’t believe it’d go mainstream.

So yea Epstein was around the convo but not part of the creation. Bitcoin’s roots are still Satoshi and early cypherpunks. not him.

I really don't know what is going on but I've been trying to follow up on the Epstein case. But pertaining to Bitcoin development, I don't really think that Epstein really made any significant contributions if not, it would have been known and you yourself mentioned that he discouraged people from investing in it at some point which means that he really didn't believe in the project.
With all the money he had, the fact that he stuck to trading shoes that he wasn't that much of a fan of it even though he acknowledged it as a very good innovation.he may have been able to manipulate the market a few times, but that's doesn't mean he contributed to the development of Bitcoin

Bitcoin will immediately be seen as threat by most wealthy people from the centralized financial system who understands it. They would rather discourage it, unless they consider to control it, make money off it in centralized manner, or divert to dark cryptos/things that enable them do lots of evil/unethical things without being traced.
If you find a wealthy person who loves Bitcoin for what it actually is you have likely found a humble person who made or want to make money honestly. The centralized system is usually hostile to such people and strongly tries to prevent them from moving further up the ladder of riches,... so they try to avoid this to remain censorship resistance and compete fairly in society

I was also seeing such kind of news that was circulating on social media yesterday, and I was watching a random social influencer video, and he was saying that now people are saying that Epstein can be stoshi nakamoto haha. And he was also saying that he doesn't like bitcoin anymore and he is totally out of the bitcoin market now, but at the same time, he was passing good statements on Ethereum, he said he likes Ethereum and its development, and he is still bullish on ethereum market.

Well, many came and gone who used to make such kind of connections with any person with stoshi that this guy was stoshi nakamato, but still no one knows exactly who stoshi nakamato actually was. Well, what do you guys think about that? Did Epstein know something insider plan about bitcoin development and about its developer?

I don't know if we could get more convincing evidence that can be use in backing this up, because on a normal day, anyone can utter a statement that may relate to what we have today  since the time past, when what he was even referring to was entirely different to the interpretation people are giving it, however, going to the history of bitcoin also, i don't think I've heard of anything related to this name before.

Bitcoin had even grown bigger than Satoshi. Bitcoin is a currency that is independent, so these negative attacks using Epstein's link will have no effect on the coin.
