Children are blessings from God ,in western world they hardly have many kids unlike in Africa where our parents have donsen of children both male and female,but believe me ,do you believe that those children you have will save you tomorrow, because in Africa especially Nigeria they believe if they don't have money they have children, those that are rich in most places they hardly have children,maybe their highest is four,but poor people has enough chances to bring children to the world,saying that the children will definitely has money tomorrow to take care of them,do you believe in this?

I know people see having muiltple wives and children as a good thing, well in most cases it is and if you have the resources and probably the right attitude towards how you operate the home then maybe you can live a good lifes with multitude of children, however in modern civilization, having multiple children no longer signifies wealth or status, just as it did back in the day. So just having children doesnt mean the poor state of a particualr fanily future will chmage, heck most of thee children end up growing with resentments towards the fmily becuase in cases or rather families like this, there is always that tendencies of family problems and bad blood. With the current economic hardship in Nigeria, I think that it is wickedness to have many children, it is not about giving birth to many children but how to conveniently cater for a large family. I have heard people say that if they don't have money they should have children that are gift from God, they also believe that among the many children some will become rich and take them out of poverty. They don't consider that some of the children can become irresponsible and give them hearth attack that can kill them before their time.

In this age I think it is very stressful to have many children, the fewer you have the better to manage your family and that is why enlightened couples don't have large families.

Children are actually blessings from God but even the Bible speaks about moderation, one must cut his coat according to his size, that mentality of having many children with the hope that they will tomorrow come back to help you is just a bad mentality, it’s not until you have numerous kids before you will have help, some times when God wants to bless you he might not use your children or even family members. In some families one child can be worth more in terms of success than a dozen given birth to by another, most time’s people grace differ, so don’t because a particular family gave birth to many children and you now decide to do same.

Give birth to a number you can care for, children are supposed to be a blessing and not a burden, don’t give birth to a number that you can’t fend for so that you don’t bring in someone into this world just to suffering him/her.
