As requested, I am writing to inquire whether posts that are about the campaign manager himself, the selected participants and the signature campaign on topic within the thread of the campaign? From what I can see, usually positive posts about these matters, changes and whatever are allowed and considered on topic. Why would it be the different if the post is negative, criticizing, or rude? These are not what determine whether a post is on topic or not. To make things even more inconsistent, some of the threads have posts that have nothing to do with the service at all.

Many of the users that you have picked are really bad posters, many are recently farmed up accounts. Many are writing completely generic junk posts, I have started seeing this new signature and wanted to see what is going on. What a shit show you have created here with your "managerial services".

That does not make sense at all. Criticism of the manager, the campaign, the participants, or the business is on topic here and in the thread of the casino. There does not need to be a separate thread for everything.

In signature campaign thread both negative and positive posts are not welcomed there...That's why must of the managers do delete comments made in campaign thread, if you notice anything wrong from a running signature campaign, especially for the participants

You can create a fresh thread for it, in meta section or Reputation sections...but if it's something that has to do with scam, you will create it on scam accusations..

Many managers don't like much comments on their campaign thread, secondly, all campaign threads are self moderated, the manager is eligible to delete any post they found unpleasant to them...

Fair enough, then report all these posts and see what happens. Either way is fine, there just has to be consistency for rules to make any sense. Either both kinds are allowed or both kinds are disallowed, anything in between shows bias and low intellectual development from those that are advocating for such selective application of the rules. Any project that launches a campaign in this forum is honestly looking for growth, reputation and brand building. So, the best the community members can do to the project is not to write negative comments in their business threads, unless the project it's is doing something obviously wrong or trying to scam. Even at that, you can create a topic in reputation where your post will not be deleted.

A campaign manager is a separate entity from the project, so her shortcomings (if any) should be treated separately.

For instance, if you discover that the Betmoco campaign manager hired low level posters according to you, you have the right to create a post in the reputation about that rather than starting a conversation in the thread that will throw the business thread off topic.

Yes, I am aware of everything that you wrote here. You kind of dodged the question. If what you say is true, then in your view should the posts that I have given as examples be also deleted or should neither those nor mine be deleted? I am asking you about your direct and personal opinion.

I am well aware that moderation is biased -- I have called out the staff members already for their lack of Bitcoin knowledge, interest in Bitcoin and general apathy towards this place. It may also play a role against the bias against my posts.

Although in most cases it is because their posts are complete shitpost, I admit that there is a big issue with merit distribution here. From abuses and farming to biased distribution, there are all sorts of problems simultaneously. Senior members turned meriting mostly into a popularity contest -- where posts are not rewarded based on the quality of their content, but instead based on who posted them and whether the posts are favorable towards them or others that they like.

If you have a specific issue with a user then as _act_  said, 'take it to the reputation board". The only way I would see participants selected being an issue would be if they were all accounts controlled by the manager. Nothing else really comes to mind as the manager has a right to choose whomever they want to fill a slot. "Quality" is subjective and the only opinion that matters is the manager as far as that goes.

You also need to take a look at the rates. $60 is top pay with a possible $20 bonus. Noone with a decent rep or more influential account is going to apply for those type of rates, unless they just cannot find a spot in a better paying campaign or a private deal. Campaigns with these rates are going to have sub par posters in most cases. The manager has to pick from the applicants he gets or run a campaign with 2 or 3 users and that doesn't help a company at all.

You can always report posts if you feel they're off topic or shit.

From what I understood from your post, basically, the posts that are negative in contexts get deleted, and positive comments like what you quoted ^{(one of which is my post)} still exist.

This is probably the simplest way that we can agree on your topic here.

I hope you understand that campaign threads are paying advertisers. They are paying a manager to

• Protect their image and the cleanliness of the thread
• Arguments that produce negativity

Basically, you can post anything you want outside the thread if you want to raise concerns, but in the case of campaign threads, it's up to their management's discretion what should be on there or not. This doesn't mean they aren't open to constructive criticism ^{(depends on the company)} , but as long as it doesn't bring a "dirty" thread vibe, I think posts like mine would be okay.

This is not about fairness; it’s about preserving a clean business thread. Self-moderation is a feature, not censorship. If you can provide proof that someone is abusing it then just create a post in the Reputation board and discuss.
