My question is: where do bitcoins go when we send them to a wrong address? Probably the recipient address is non existing.
Actually your question has been answered correctly from nc50lc....But also if you send your bitcoin to wrong, it will lost, especially an address that doesn't exist...but you can send bitcoin to wrong address but the address exist...it will relax on the address, and you can't recover it...That is to let us know that we have to be careful because send bitcoin to an address...
A lot of bitcoin users have lost a lot of bitcoin in a wrong address that is not existing and there is no way they can have access to those bitcoin in the wrong address till they leave this earth,I think this advice many bitcoin users have contributed in this thread will really help upcoming newbies not to be in an hurry to send bitcoin or other coins without a clear verify before proceeding the transaction, and it will make their bitcoin to get to the right address they are sending it because is the address Link you copy or you type it will enter.
