Testing a new concept called the Bitcoin Heirloom Book: https://bitcoinheirloombook.com/

The idea is if Bitcoin is proof of work money, then Bitcoin inheritance should be as well. And current Bitcoin inheritance solutions only transfer the asset, but don't transfer the wisdom of Bitcoin.

As a Bitcoin parent saving in Bitcoin for my child for decades, one of my greatest fears is when he receives his Bitcoin inheritance, he would sell and squander it because he didn't cultivate the same conviction I built over the many years.

This heirloom book would allow Bitcoin parents to document (with AI's support) their Bitcoin journey, the money values to pass down, and prepare their children to properly steward their Bitcoin.

And the child would be asked by the parent to read it cover to cover before receiving their inheritance (as their proof of work), filled with unique stories from the parents and understand the greater WHY.

My team and I just finished the v1 prototype so we are seeking testers and feedback specifically from Bitcoin parents already saving in bitcoin for their children.

If you are one, or just curious in general, would love for you to test for free in the link above.

Questions after trying it out:
1. What value, if any, do you see with the Heirloom Book? And would you pay for something like this for our fully completed product?

2. Can you imagine your child reading this one chapter (and the rest of the book when you finish) before inheriting their Bitcoin, and would that change how they relate to it?

3. If this didn’t exist, how would you otherwise try to pass your Bitcoin wisdom and conviction down to your children before their inheritance?

Please answer honestly. Critical feedback is more valuable than encouragement.

Really appreciate your insights and point of views, thanks!

I would be very careful with the AI angle though. If this thing asks for too much personal financial detail, wallet structure, addresses, custody hints, legal arrangements, or family names, then you're building a honey pot with a leather cover. The product should aggressively teach users not to include sensitive details. No seed words, no xpubs, no multisig cosigner details, no "Uncle Bob has key 2 of 3 in the blue safe," none of that. The book should carry wisdom, not coordinates to the treasure chest.

Would I pay for it? Maybe, if the privacy story is clean and the output is genuinely better than a generic "dear child, inflation bad" template. Local-first export, no permanent storage, simple prompts, good print/PDF formatting, maybe even a "technical details redaction check" before finalizing. If it is just a SaaS wrapper around some sentimental prompt soup, probably not. If it helps a parent produce something their kid might actually keep on a shelf for thirty years, then yes, there is a market there.

The strongest version of this is less "inheritance book" and more "family monetary constitution." Not preachy, not cultish, not laser-eye bedtime stories. Just an honest record from the person who stacked through the madness and wanted the next generation to understand that bitcoin was never only about getting rich.

The idea in principle is generally nice, but I don't expect to buy it, nor do I prefer to pass on Bitcoin culture to my children in this way. There are much easier and simpler ways to pass on Bitcoin culture to your children without compromising your privacy and putting them at risk.

Storing an important personal information linking Bitcoin to identity on AI servers or third-party services carries a big risk, especially if it contains sensitive implications. Once you write a book titled “Bitcoin Legacy,” you are implicitly saying: “I own enough Bitcoin to bequeath.” This alone is enough to make your identity a target for criminals, or perhaps your children after you.

What you want is a market survey.  Hire a firm (or use something like SurveyMonkey) to get answers to these questions.  Here you will get more value from the spamming of your idea than you will from the answers from users in Project Development.   People here want to spend their bitcoin.  Smiley

The "child must read it before receiving inheritance" bit is cute, but I would not make it central. Inheritance should not depend on a little ceremony that can fail because grief, lawyers, passwords, bad timing, or because little Timmy becomes 19 and decides he is allergic to books. The book should prepare the heir, not gate the heir. The legal/custody process should work even if the book burns in a house fire. The book is the campfire story, not the vault door.

Would I pay for it? Possibly, if it is clean, private, exportable, and not SaaS-shaped for no reason. I would not pay for "AI legacy platform stores your Bitcoin journey in our cloud, pinky promise." I might pay for a polished local/offline tool that helps me produce a PDF/printable book, with strong warnings and good prompts written by people who understand Bitcoin culture and custody. That has a market. Not a giant one maybe, but a real one.

Best version of this is not "Bitcoin inheritance book." It is more like a family monetary constitution. Less cult robe, more scar tissue. Less "dear child, number go up," more "here is why I chose hard money, here is how I learned patience, here is how people lose coins, here is why you should not let grief or greed make decisions for you." That could actually be useful.

Just don't let the AI become the diary of everyone's treasure chest. That dog will bite eventually.

To be honest with you, I don't think I would have to use a service for "transferring my wisdom". I would rather make sure he understands exactly what Bitcoin is and how to move it or sell it, if he has to. I think the biggest concern of a Bitcoin parent is whether their kids mess up in some step and lose their bitcoin. For example, imagine if he types the seed phrase in a closed-source wallet, on an Internet connected computer. That's far worse, and far more likely to happen than "not be convinced".

Now as for the wisdom part, I'd give them to read the Bitcoin Standard and some good podcasts that are available on YouTube.

Don't be surprised if the crypto scamming Trump boys introduce a law selling bitcoins from dead owners to add to the estate, minus a reasonable 40% fee of course.

It is a good idea, but it requires a lot of trust from the families.

just saying that you don't use it is not enough in my opinion.

also provide more info on what you're actually doing. maybe a youtube video or demo, as it seems it's not just the book, but more.
