Even the real customer support cannot be fully trusted, how much more if you end up falling on the fake customer support. This brings us lesson to be cautious all the time with our plans and actions, because with just a single mistake, everything will be ruined and then regret after.
Well, you only need to trust the support but wholly if they're the real one when you're in need of help.

But I understand what you're saying that even them, you can't fully trust them when it's about the help that they're giving to people.

This is also a reminder for everyone to get updated how scammers work. Although this is already an old strategy for some old members, but this could be something new for those who have no knowledge on how scammers innovate their craft.
I agree.

Being updated and knowledgeable on how these scams work will make us avoid them. It's mostly for those who are new and haven't seen it happen to anybody.

Yes, whatever the problem is, there is no one in this world ask you to write a mnemonic seed. If there is, it's fix 100% scam or phishing!.

I must encourage you all here, even in panic, you have to still calm down to always think, and be aware of the situation.
Half of panic will result in significant problems because we unknowingly make mistakes that can harm us. Scams are innovating now because they are usually quite difficult to detect and most beginners fall for these scams. It's better to wait for actual customer service because they can direct us to the root of the problem, as you did in this case. An important lesson we learned from your case is that everyone should be more careful about accepting information that could be detrimental, especially regarding scams/phishing or other similar matters.

Many people don't realize with who they talk if they have a problem. They panic and not checks before they starts the conversations. We should calm down and not panic before contacting supports.

If supports asks about the details, we should be suspicious and we can delaying the answers and check it by ourselves without involving the supports to know what is happens.

Scams will be there, watching and waiting us getting into their traps so we must be careful and not panic. That is the first thing that we must do to knowing the real situation.

Majority of people who fall for scams are as a result of their impatience, they are too quick to act when they should be patient enough to wait for the response of customer care and some do not even go as far as verifying from customer care if mails or pms they had recieved are genuine but they just hurriedly do whatever they were told just because of ignorance and fear coupled with their impatient attitude. This is how most people fall for scams. And also, people are not careful enough to read in between lines to spot a difference, and this is another method scammers use to get people's login details, and immediately they access someones account and take over it, keeping the owner out of control of the account. Till people take all these seriously, they will still be falling for scams.

In essence, the mnemonic seed is very important when we live on crypto.

So, at this point, I have to make it clear because not only scammer, whoever it is: Authentic Customer support, real developer, or anyone with a genuine label, when asked your mnemonic seed, never give it!.

The only person who can access your wallet is you!. It's no longer important if you have bought an expensive hardware wallet, 2fa tool, or generated a difficult password when the Word Mnemonic seed was sent to anyone other than you. They are able to open that door even if it has been locked with maximum security.

Even more important than any advance security anyone can come up with as far our crypto asset is involved.

If truly there are Authentic Customer Support or even real developers. No one with clear intent will demand for mnemonic seed if not scammers. They can disguise and take up any identity just to lure their victims into falling prey to their mischievous tactics. It is really wild out there.

2FA tool is only limited to our device, I stand to be corrected. The password is even as useless as anyone who will lose their mnemonic so cheaply to this scammers. It just like a bank or any financial institution giving out their customers details to random persons. I mean it will sound so absurd.

When you are having problem with your withdraw in any exchange, I think the right people to contact is your customer care and I believe every exchange has a session to reach out to their customer care going on social media to ask such question on their verified account is very risky and it’s not advisable. Sometimes you a go, I had a problem in my KuCoin and I could not withdraw my money. I messaged the customer care in the exchange because there’s a session for that on the exchange and we discussed and my account was free to withdraw. We should be very careful these days because we have a lot of impersonators all over the Internet or social media.

If only this scammers will realize how skillful they are and channel this creative minds to something better other than scamming people, trust me they are going to be one of the top best genius in the world, because how can someone be some good but can not make good use of their skills in a positive way, honestly speaking how technical this scammers are baffles me, at times I just wonder how they acquire such knowledge that can transform their world but misuses it instead, in a terrific way. At times panic itself can cause a person great lose if care is not taken, most especially, things relating to our funds because in the quest to get it back one might be to focused on that and end up making a grieve mistake.

We keep learning everyday. Thanks to OP for sharing!

Know that fact that when you start to invest or hold a significant amount of crypto, you immediately become a target of scammers. No one's an exception. That's why it pays to be cautious with all your transactions, with all the people you met and contacted with, because at one glimpse, they can turn into scammers and steal what you have in your wallet.

Also, when you feel that there's something wrong on the person you are in contact with, move fast and block that person. That's the only way to protect yourself and your own investment.

Impatience is very bad, which can ruin people lives and their plans well, that is why people should always practice patience and make it a habit, if they really wants to succeed in this journey, because there are several ways that scammers use to lure other people money, and one of the way to overcome it, its by exercising patience, knowing that investing in Bitcoin doesn't guaranteed quick profit and can also make some enquires, if the scammers are too convincing, which will help one to know if they are real or not, in order to be at the safe side and one should also be able to do all the necessary adjustments, which they are ought to do, in order to secure their assets from fraudsters.
