I don’t have any reason to sell all my coins just because there is a bear in the market right now. Bitcoin price is down, and all other altcoins are down also, but that won’t make me sell my coin. The dip in the market right now is just temporary, and we should know that with time prices are going to bounce back, but if you are holding altcoins, then make sure you are holding reputable ones, don’t hold shitcoins.

I have been in crypto space for some time, and have experienced this kind of market condition before, but with time things bounced back, so right now I believe things will bounce back even if it’s going to take time.

The best investment strategy which I know is DCA strategy, and thats the strategy which I do always encourage people to make use of. You can start investing in bitcoin or any coin of your choice gradually.

Unfortunately there are two things that make DCA hard for people and for one reason or another, they just don't do that. First reason is that, DCA requires you to have some money since you will need to keep on buying as it goes down even more. So if you buy now, and price goes down, then you need to buy some more but they do not and that causes a bit of a problem for people.

Because if you lack the funds, then how could you buy some more? This is why it's hard, second reason is that if you are worried when it goes down then you can't do that, and while I know that's not the problem for the strategy, it's true that some people have hard time watching it keep going down more and more and eventually sell off and get out.

Personally, I only deals on Bitcoin, and I don't intend selling my holdings now since I am a long term holder. I believe that in the next two circles from now, Bitcoin will skyrocket to even $300k plus, so selling because of short term dip doesn't makes me a good holder.[/quote]

I don't like to buy any tokens. I like to invest in Bitcoin and occasionally trade with the top coins in the market. Now I sold almost all the coins in 2025 and took profit but I still have some altcoins in my portfolio because I don't want to sell at a loss but I don't think I can recover in the future. Also, I haven't sold the entire amount of BTC holdings.
Actually DCA is the best strategy for investing. So I will continue to invest in the DCA method.

I don't like to buy any tokens. I like to invest in Bitcoin and occasionally trade with the top coins in the market. I don't see any reason why I should sell my crypto most especially Bitcoin I don't see any need for that, because considering how Bitcoin works and the volatile nature of Bitcoin there is always a tendency that Bitcoin is going bounce back in as much as Bitcoin have been fluctuating and all other altcoin also depends on Bitcoin to thrive which is why whenever Bitcoin is coming down all other coins and cryptocurrency also comes down along with it and it's a very horrible situation that people now find themselves in with most cryptocurrency now coming down and there is no uncertainty when investing in cryptocurrency, because it's not regulated by anyone so it more better to invest in Bitcoin something that could be trusted in a long run and I have seen and had experience on how most of this things normally works in a long run, Bitcoin is more manageable, so if I had any cryptocurrency aside from Bitcoin I would be selling immediately and to buy Bitcoin with that money immediately now that the price of Bitcoin is on a dip which is something we can control by consistent buying and accumulation of Bitcoin.

Shitcoins are not made for investment so I never bag-held any of them to want to sell now that there is market wide dump going on. I have always owned bitcoin and I don't just sell that because there is a crash. In fact whenever I can, I do the exact opposite meaning I take advantage of the discount and buy more bitcoin.

The motivation is what I've seen from the altcoin market over the past 12 years that I've been in the crypto-world. Altcoins are suitable for trading in short term and taking advantage of their pumps and not much else.
I will continue this strategy because that's what has worked for me very well.

Most investors often make a very big mistake of holding alt and meme and be taking them as an investment, when it's obvious that alt and meme hardly survive the market for long, and due to it ability to fall more than they rise, it's a very big mistake to invest heavily on them.
It's not entirely bad to gamble a few box of cash on them if you can make something out of it, like 10x to 100x, but putting all your hopes there is very heart breaking because it will only be a matter of time before it started crashing down very hard.
And finally, once it drops in value, it's near impossible for it to recover back to where it fell from, that is more of the reason why we should be focusing on Bitcoin because it's the only reliable crypto asset that truly appreciates in value overtime, and it history has proven that no matter how dip it fell, it will always recover back with time.

Shitcoin is not worth holding when it has entered the bearish season, it will really make a lot of losses, especially if we buy it at a price when it is still bullish, from most altcoins now the average is down more than 60% in the ETH market, SOL even Bitcoin is also almost down 60%, honestly the last time to sell altcoins was October-December last year, I think it is still quite safe at that price, but for now it seems that this price drop is painful for shitcoin holders.

Alt projects at low capitalization are indeed much worse in probability of achieving glory like projects that have entered tier a (ETH, BNB, SOL) in the market, even the top 10 CMC can change and become trash in the next cycle which can no longer print new ATH, this is no longer a secret, it has become knowledge that crypto investors must have.

The hardest truth to hear, it's too bittered to listen to such but it's the reality you just said. Many altcoin will never and be hard to stand on the ground again just like we had seen many that never got up again. The earlier selling them the better, and now I think many altcoin had done worst a this point in time.

Who ever is willing to sell them should be ready to sell at lost, accept it and move on, because expecting altcoin to stand stronger again won't be possible.

Why not just DCA alts? It's so much better than just trying to "time the market". Buy a small amount of any of the top-ranked altcoins in market cap on a weekly basis regardless of current market prices. Once BTC turns bullish again, you'll be able to double or even triple your investment. Rinse and repeat.

Considering that altcoins are a gamble, it's best to park most of your money into BTC for safekeeping. Only invest what you can afford to lose in alts. Especially "meme" coins. Good luck.

I have sold some parts of my tokens some months ago, but not that I made much income from those tokens because there was an information that those tokens will soon disappear from the market based on some challenges their teams was updating the users, truly some miss their opportunity because they were still holding their tokens before they realized that the information they heard from other holders is true and they where still lucky to earn little income before the token disappeared till now, I have confidence on some of the crypto an holding now because I know it will not going to disappear soon and before it disappear there will be sign that will make majority of their investors to start selling parts of their crypto to draw other holders attention to start doing the same thing before the crypto disappear.

I haven't sold a single QRL since I bought my swag years ago. I trade to and fro.

Otherwise, a couple of old-school Fave Coins likewise 'to and fro.' (42-coin!)

And it's interesting to me that almost every post here is about buying and selling 'shitcoins.' Nothing about analysing coins, about choosing coins that you can confidently buy when their price is down.

I don't trade it any more, but GRS comes to mind. You wait and watch and wait and watch, then buy in at the bottom.
