For years we heard about state sponsored terrorism and using cryptocurrencies for terrorist activities. We even heard about the US regime paying its Takfiri terrorist proxies around the world with cryptocurrencies, but things have never been as widespread and obvious as recent times. Ever since Trump was installed in office, the masks seem to be falling off and the regime is openly doing everything without shame. Like receiving the head of al-Qaeda in the White House to meet with the pedophile POTUS officially!!!

January was a hot month that changed a lot of things and it even scared the Europeans. That was mainly because of the terrorist attacks the US regime carried out in Iran on January 8 and 9, something that due to dominance of Iran's intelligence community was stopped in only 48 hours (the same strategy lasted 11 years in Syria and destroyed the country). Something that helped end the US sponsored terrorist attacks so quickly was Iran's National Security Council issuing a nation wide total "communication blackout" for a handful of days and 2 weeks of international communication blockade. Only a handful of countries have the strong domestic internet infrastructure to block it and still operate (ie. internet banking, digital governance, all domestic websites, internet shopping, internet taxis, ... working fine) which is one of the things that has scared a lot of countries including Europeans who don't have such infrastructure since they are on the same list for similar style of US sponsored terrorism. Some of the capabilities don't exist anywhere else but in Iran such as both blocking US military satellite internet known as Starlink and also pinpointing its location to find the terrorist cell that was trying to use it to communicate with the Pentagon to receive orders.
This "blackout" helped achieve 3 things: (1) prevented Pentagon's cyber attacks on Iran's internet based infrastructure (eg. the banking system) (2) blocked communication of US regime's Takfiri terrorist proxies with Pentagon (3) prevented the cryptocurrency payments to reach the US sponsored terrorists

Apart from the massive evidence that came out in January after majority of these US sponsored terrorists were arrested in Iran, we already had a lot of other evidence of how they use cryptocurrencies to pay their proxies. For example here is one I recently found from a couple of years ago (image on the left) when one of the biggest US sponsored terrorist organizations, Israel is advertising an internationally recognized terrorist group as "opposition in Iran" that they want everyone to fund using bitcoin and sometimes other cryptocurrencies.

If the name of this US sponsored terrorist group looks familiar to you (Jeish al-Zulm that was absorbed into the bigger BLA), that's because this past week they carried out a series of terrorist attacks in 12 cities in Pakistan's Baluchestan province (which is Iran's eastern neighbor) that has killed 250 civilians so far (image on the right).

The bold part above (#3) is seen by intelligence services of other countries and is going to change a lot in the coming years. I expect those countries (which don't have such technologically advanced capabilities or the experience to battle the US sponsored terrorists) to start imposing more restrictions on cryptocurrencies and some to go as far as banning them in a desperate attempt to take back control. We are already seeing how in Europe they are banning social media out of the same fear (social media is the tool the US regime uses to hire some of its terrorists and train them to create riots paving the way for their Takfiri terrorist to enter the scene). These are platforms that are in complete control of US military that the Europeans are starting to restrict these days.
It is not surprising that these bans stated in France either since they have experienced the US sponsored terrorism on social media a couple of years ago when Pentagon did 1% of what they've been doing to Iran to them back on June 2023 (3700 arrested, dozens killed, hundreds wounded). Specially since French were always in on this strategy (US sponsored terrorist proxies) but they were using it against countries like Iran so far (now it's being used against them as well!). Thanks to the Pedophile POTUS for leaking this classified communication with French president confessing to being part of these terrorist attacks in Syria and Iran...

You have explained this problem very well and have even put the Screenshots to bear out this. However, when we get on the Bitcoin and Tether, which are two digital currencies, what could we do on this? It appears there is one of the dark sides of the creation of Bitcoin. Are we in a position to prohibit transactions? It appears that we cannot since Bitcoin wallets can be produced as numerous as we desire.

The reality is that a variety of mi*ers are in circulation and they are able to clean up their trail on funding.

But on the brighter aspect, as traders or investors, as long as people continue to do business through Bitcoin then it means that Bitcoin is still in wide use and can gain its price since as there are still high demand and very little supply.

There is nothing we can do. The way Bitcoin is designed makes it censorship resistant and its main utility is non-criminal even though it is used by criminals as well.

The problem is a legislative issue. You see inside legislative body where they pass laws on how to treat something (like whether to ban bitcoin or regulate it) there are always opposing "voices" each having different arguments. For example the pro-bitcoin voices use the utilities of bitcoin, the benefits for the economy, bitcoin as reserve, etc. as their arguments. Conversely those who are against bitcoin use the power consumption, hard to trace transactions, illegal activities, etc. as their arguments.
Now events like what I explained in OP strengthen the second voices that can lead to more restrictions, more exchange and other services shut down and worse case scenario could lead to total ban.

Just a theoretical scenario: we know how Viktor Orbán in Hungary has been one of the politicians in Europe who is against the US proxy war with Russia and has been blocking shipments to the front. The main shipment lane is Poland but what if they needed Hungary more? Based on US regime's past behavior toward Europe (eg. the 2018 CIA+MI6 terrorist attack in London to force them to deploy troops in Jordan as support line for Da'esh in Syria) they can easily start carrying out similar terrorist attacks inside Hungary using their hired mercenaries paid in bitcoin to force Orban to fall in line and stop being "rogue" as the regime calls it. This is why I used the social media example. Based on the Europeans behavior, they'll outright ban bitcoin across Europe overnight.

And there is not much we can do since the source of the problem is external not internal.

Long time no see! I was wondering why you hadn't posted in days  Smiley

I don't understand why these guys don't simply use XMR. Isn't that what it's literally designed for? lol

People need to forget about using Tether. They want to pay in US dollars and stuff but do you really want to, or care about, manage ethereum or tron gas if you run a militia?

Historically, all world power that have ever existed always tends to oppress and distabilize other nations in order to maintain power, so it is nothing new if the US regime is doing thesame.

I don't think banning or placing major restrictions on bitcoin or crypto will help the situation in any way. Come to think of it, even before the invention of crypto currencies, there has always been strategies these regimes use in funding these groups, so if crypto is restricted they will channel to a new direction.

Sometimes I just keep wondering why all human race can't unite and live in peace instead we choose to fight ourselves because of religious sentiments, greed and political interest, with the current state of things, I wonder what the world will look like in the next decade.

It's not always about maintaining power, I can decide to fund a tribe in a struggling country so as to gain a part of that country's resources, I have heard things like this happening in developing countries like Africa, let's say I have billions of dollars to my name and I fund some groups of people I can make a deal to gain more money back.

There is money to be made in terrorism, many people don't know this, as evil as it may sound this is what many people are doing, people who have too much money to their names.

Epstein story is similar, there is no single proof about how he made his money and yet he sit around wealthy and powerful men around the world, someone was funding him for all the services that he is rendering to wealthy and dirty pedos in America, someone has too much money and decide that Epstein is the man that can bring his fantasy alive and take the fall if anything happens.

That's a good question. That may be because they are not trying to hide anything so they choose the most popular options that are easiest to send/receive using any wallets out there. I mean if they wanted to hide anything, they wouldn't have received the head of al-Qaeda in the White house LOL

It won't but that won't stop them either. As I said, this is a legislative issue. Those in the parliaments who have to pass these laws always choose the easiest way and when "shit hits the fan" they choose the "ban hammer" instead not listening to those who elected them to be in those seats Smiley

Let me give another bitcoin related example. About 5 years ago due to the incompetence of the government at the time, we faced a power outage and basically an electricity crisis! In order to cover their own incompetence, they started blaming bitcoin miners. Granted we do have ultra cheap electricity prices but it was not the reason for the outages. And yet the legislative body passed the law to restrict all kinds of mining and now you have to apply for a license even if you want to mine shitcoins at home and get the export electricity rates (ie. $0.05 versus $0.001 approximately).

They rarely choose the best solution and almost always choose the easiest way out!

Governments are mostly like this, they are incompetent but they don't want to admit their incompetency while they want to use their power in order to do things that are most easily for them. Citizens can suffer a lot of bad things, companies can have bankruptcy but governments mostly care about themselves, benefits for their individual or family interest and even group benefits.

Citizens are at very nearly bottom of governments' concerns and if citizens want to live their easy and comfortable lives without considerable criquies against governments' bad policies, their lives will be damaged a lot with time.

I have a question for you, if you gain and control that country's resources, is it not more power and influence for you?

It won't but that won't stop them either. As I said, this is a legislative issue. Those in the parliaments who have to pass these laws always choose the easiest way and when "shit hits the fan" they choose the "ban hammer" instead not listening to those who elected them to be in those seats Smiley
That is true, but I think it will be baseless to do so. It takes common sense to know that even fiat and cash itself is one of the major enabler of money laundering and organised crime, since we know this does it mean cash and fiat should be banned? I believe the question has answered itself.

Any country that decides to ban bitcoin is only enslaving its citizen to the fiat centralized system and nothing more IMO.

Government are just puppet clowns... and they don't need to ban crypto, they are using it to introduce their own version of digital ID and government stable coins.
Same as they are using gold, silver and stock market for manipulation, they are also using bitcoin and other coins.
It's not that hard to understand that if you look last few years, and they are probably going to create more chaos in future.

It has always been like even before now, world power countries that ever existed always do everything within their power to suppress and weaken other nations so that they can maintain their world power position. So US doing same thing shouldn't look new to us, because it has always been like this even before some us here were Born. But funny enough two great nations China and Russia is give the US government tough time, and up till now US government has not suppress nor weaken this two great nations.

Further more, banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies or placing some restrictions on them won't change any, because the US government will definitely look for other means to fund their terrorist group. Nations should allow Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to operate freely, no need to place any restriction on them, Because it won't change anything. And frankly speaking not only US is funding their terrorist group using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Other nations are doing it as well,  just that US own is just too obvious.
