I think people are sincere with themselves, I think that gambling should be for fun and I am sincere about it and many thinks gambling is business and they are very sincere about it.
But complaining in loss in a natural thing and doesn’t make those who think gambling is fun insincere, you can loss in game contests that if fun but complain.

I don't have a lot of money yet to gamble for fun. Those who have a lot of money might spend some time in the casino and gamble for fun. But what I think is that about 80% of people gamble to make money. These 80% of people think that if I get lucky, I will win and make a lot of money.

Sometimes I do bet against a team I really want to win, I don’t do this because I want them to win, but often because I may have doubt that they might actually win, so I bet against them so if they eventually end up winning, I go home happy and fulfilled, and if they lose… maybe I won’t be that happy after all but I end up being a bit compensated for the loss, the only thing that’ll counter this is if the game ends in a draw, which has actually happened to me a couple of times lol.

I think it is most important to just maintain your control here, everyone's purpose is different, some play for fun, some for passive income and some can even take it as a permanent income source, but the simple truth is that everyone will get result according to there gambling activity here. Everyone should remember that it can never be made into a guaranteed source of income, you can keep your limitations in mind and maintain your control and then play it expecting a little profit from it, but the game must not be allowed to go out of control, and it can never be taken as a permanent source of income, then it will only create problems.

Whether someone is gambling for fun or is gambling for the profit, every gambler desires profit but their desires can be different depending on the reason for ones gambling. Those that their primary aim is to make a living off gambling, they will chase losses while someone that needs primarily the fun and some wins to cheers him up will not chase losses. It's not every gambler that is chasing losses.
People have the right to chose and decide how they handle gambling, it should not be a problem whether they take it as fun or a source to make money, they just have to be responsible and discipline.

I assume this to be a rhetorical question and funny enough some people deceive themselves by saying they are gambling for fun why deep down they are not actually doing that and I will be so wrong and deceiving myself if I said I'm gambling for fun . Personally,  gambling has being a little bit of financing and a little bit of fun because I cannot entirely say it was for fun as the money aspect is also of interest too.

It's not everyone that will tell you that they are gambling for fun, even if some people say it, they don't means it but are just lying, in their homes, you don't know how and what they are gambling for. Don't believe that everyone is gambling for fun because that's not true, how ever I'm gambling, I feel it's no bodies concern that is the reason why I or anyone can decide to tell a lie to cover up a question that I or they don't want to answer, that's what most people do.

That's not the case Yablee0, it's an opposite of what you think, there are many people gambling for profit, that's why you see complains of people chasing losses and wanting to recover from their lose. If there are 100% gambler, I don't think there's up to 10% people that are truly gambling for fun.

It's natural, I also do it if I lose, but it doesn't burden me to continue gambling beyond the predetermined limit.

My answer is "it's a choice" everyone's life has financial freedom, they are free to determine their own path in life, Gambling for me is an activity that can benefit me financially, regardless of whether it contains elements of fun or entertainment and so on.

In essence, gambling is my choice in carrying out challenging activities, especially in the act of gaming, there are many types of games that are challenging for me to try, gambling has that right.

So if you are doing this to benefit yourself financially, I would advise you not to do that. This is only for fun, so you spend money for fun, like netflix subscription, or buying coffee everyday. If you spend 5 bucks for a coffee everyday, that's 150 dollars a month, so you deposit 150 dollars and do not drink coffee and that's where your money goes. Think of it as fun and not a way to make money.
