Question, it appears hologram and key have been removed.

Is that debris that is stuck on what was left of hologram adhesive, i.e. dirt/dust or some other material?

Are you willing to use escrow like MJ or Mopar? If so I’d be interested in bidding

According to the posted rules, bids placed after February 8th, 2026, 09:00:00 EST are only valid if they fall within the 5-minute extension.

My 0.01 BTC bid was placed before the closing time, making it the highest valid bid at close.

Spokanistan51’s bid was submitted after the auction ended and outside the extension window, so it should not be considered valid.

Based on this, I believe I should be the winner.

This is not how auctions work... if alandelon is not the winner at 0.0100BTC you will be getting red trust and a flag.
Do you really need to grub for bits that bad to get the extra 0.0005BTC??  Roll Eyes
Ridiculous precedent to set especially after "waking up from a long period of inactivity."
Seriously, what makes you think that is even a little bit ok??

In Spokanistan51's defense, the auction end time could have been interpreted as 9PM not 9AM, it wasn't clear when it was ending, IMO  Undecided

That’s exactly the point, the seller himself states “this did come in after the close.”

If the bid came in after the close, it can only be valid if it falls within the 5-minute extension rule, which did not happen here.

Regardless of interpretations, the posted rules are clear and cannot be changed after the auction ends.

Thank you for stepping in and clarifying this.

I fully agree, auctions should follow the posted rules, otherwise it sets a bad precedent. I simply placed my bid according to the rules that were clearly stated and expected them to be applied consistently.

I understand the seller may not have run an auction in a long time and may have overlooked some of the rules,  mistakes can happen to anyone.

Community standards on auctions must be upheld. Weve all sacrificed btc because bids come in late. You set your own rules on auction so if he wanted that he should of stated that. I will definitely leave a red mark if adelon dosen't get his coin.

I've known Spokanistan51 for a long time... this has nothing to do with them.  They placed a bid and may not have known the end time had passed. I've had plenty of bids come in late, but I always do the right thing and call it properly.  The OP clearly stated the bid was late but chose to grub for bits rather than honor the proper winning bid.

p.s.  if the listing has 09:00:00EST as the end time the zero before the nine clearly means 9AM... as 9PM would be 21:00:00EST  Wink
