They could be hired from outside the forum. I've seen "bumping services" spam threads, in this case it's shitposting on the tech boards. What's really disappointing is that they don't get banned!
I think you are right, regarding my story that I quoted below is not only a fictitious story, but a real story and now it is proven to exist in this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5573822.msg66384835#msg66384835In common sense, if it is not because of the paid bumping service as you mean, why do they buy an account that has been marked with RedTrust. I think this has something to do with what you mean. -snip- I don't know what the motive is, I once saw in a Facebook group that someone was looking for a Bitcointalk account to buy, even though the account marked Redtrust he was also ready to buy. and I believe those accounts have been sold to the buyer of that account.

I don't think these spammers have gotten any permission from the manager to wear the signature. The manager may not know who has been wearing the signature willingly without payment. So the goal of wearing a signature by these spammers remains unknown.
My guess is same as DubemIfedigbo001. Rainbet campaign is probably the first or second campaign currently with the most number of participants. These people might be planning to make a loan request in the future. Their loan application stand a chance to be accepted by lenders. Having known that Rainbet has large number of participants, they may not bother to do a background checks whether they are real participants or not since they're putting on the signature. If it's a private deal with the company, I don't expect any sensible team to have a deal with unknown accounts linked with Ai and no reputation at all.

Is it possible that these accounts are getting paid by just by doing that thing like just only wearing the signature and not even posting? Just like this we see the account wearing rainbet signature. I think it happened before but I don't think rainbet will doing this kind of stuff to advertise. Given the account logs it seems like only one person now handles these accounts.

interesting in your opinions is hacking or account farms? I asked myself this question, surely there could be a connection even if it's not certain Statistically, how often does a password change happen for all these people? Surely @LoyceV knows this..

Statistically, how often does a password change happen for all these people? Surely @LoyceV knows this.. See my seclog log if you're interested. But without looking, I can tell you it's not very typical for many accounts to change their password and set one specific signature at the same time.

I'm honestly not sure it is even worth keeping those accounts active if someone is farming them. It seems that either the marketing team is directly involved in account trading or someone is tarnishing the brand's name by doing this shady thing. Is it possible that these accounts are getting paid by just by doing that thing like just only wearing the signature and not even posting? It creates a lot of backlinks on old posts, even if they don't post. Yeah, they weren't very active before. heck, now they are slowly popping up everywhere...

Need to organize a bounty that allows alternative accounts with any tags to participate, or, even better, a signature company that pays a small fee but accepts all senior accounts. Dozens of old accounts will resurface, as is usually the case, and most of their previous owners are likely Indonesian citizens . This happens regularly, and despite the number of accounts caught, it appears that the supply of such accounts is simply inexhaustible.

Some's buying a lot of accounts: WTB Bitcointalk Accounts That Are Redtrust / Normal Rank: Senior Member, Full Member, Hero Member, Legend Redtrust (no worries) I wonder if that shithead is only buying red-trusted Legendary accounts--I can't tell since he writes like he's messaging his drug dealer (aaaabsolute shocker I tell ya). Were I to start visiting the Invites&Accounts section again, there's a non-zero chance my computer monitor would get punched through the wall undeservedly.

The setting of account passwords of the accounts probably means they are all part of the same account farm. There 35 accounts involved, in my opinion that cannot be a coincidence. I did not have time to look through each account but noticed one that was a known farmed account I had tagged. It seems a deliberate attempt by the PytagoraZ account to display the Rainbet signature when he is not even enrolled in their campaign. Accounts farmers have used this tactic many times with many of their accounts in the past because they believe it increases their chances of getting selected by other managers when they apply to join campaigns.

It will take a lot of effort trying to tarnish the image of a brand, which wont be in vain. Crystal clear they are getting paid to tarnish the brand's image or the brand itself is the core center of what's going on. Speaking from a more logical point of view.

It seems a deliberate attempt by the PytagoraZ account to display the Rainbet signature when he is not even enrolled in their campaign. I'm thinking that whoever ran those two accounts sold them to the master farmer, who is also Indonesian. Crystal clear they are getting paid to tarnish the brand's image or the brand itself is the core center of what's going on. Speaking from a more logical point of view.
I'm not sure how that's possible as most of these accounts aren't actually making new posts while wearing the signature. That may change. In which case what's the thinking: we are going to suspect Rainbet of paying these accounts? That might be possible but seems unlikely. I thought I spent a lot of time here... there are some people that spend an ungodly amount of time here, lol.

Keep it up! The funniest part is that all of those floods showed up around the same time, and then they all went inactive around the same time too. It really makes me wonder who hired them to promote Rainbet... or did they all just decide to do it voluntarily? 🤔

Any reason why these accounts shouldn't get 2-year signature bans? Welcome to community input first. I haven't checked them thoroughly, but I have 8 of them on Ignore already. Many users with "Rainbet" signature are just spamming. I haven't checked the spreadsheet, and I've seen users who aren't accepted in the campaign wear signatures, but with this many users it's no surprise they spam as much as Stake does: Payouts and Positions:
54x Full Members - $40 in BTC/Week. 60x Sr. Members - $50 in BTC/Week. 60x Hero/Legendary Members - $65 in BTC/Week. Update: I checked the spreadsheet, and not a single one of those users is in Hhampuz's spreadsheet! This is weird. Who's doing this, and for what reason?

Most or all of those account should get permanent ban instead. 1. Fair amount or percentage of post made by those account violate forum rule, since it's deleted by moderator. Admin mention sigban is for account that doesn't break rule. sigbans are a good way of addressing users who don't have any single post which breaks the rules, but whose posts seem to contribute more noise than signal.
For example, https://bpip.org/Profile?p=pliego shows 128 posts deleted by moderator. This account currently have 239 posts, so it's equal to 35% posts deleted by moderator. 2. As stated by other member, those account actually don't join any signature campaign. So sigban unlikely to make them stop spamming again in the future.
