In my case it's the opposite. When Bitcoin dumps, it hurts me more to spend it both on consumption and on gambling, so I refrain myself  and try to save for better times. I have calculated how much what I spent years ago would be worth now too many times to think that spending my sats after a big crash is a good idea. Who knows, maybe one day it will go down and never recover (I hope not, but it's a possibility), but I prefer to remain optimistic and the illusion that perhaps I can spend twice as much one day not too far away.

It’s the same for me since I always bet using stablecoins. The only difference is I gamble less because I dedicate most of my stablecoins on purchasing low value tokens affected by the dump since it’s more profitable to do than gambling my funds for profit.

But in retrospect with the risk tolerance or confidence, I think it’s just the same since trading is a different matter on gambling.

Yeah, that’s how I see it too. Some people probably do get frustrated, but for me, I’d rather read posts that are based on real experience. Honestly, in my case, I’ve never really been frustrated with gambling.

This is unreasonable for them to withdraw BTC, then double up on bets to get a recovery, there is not a profit to recover, but the BTC will lose due to your bet losing, I dare not do this because it is stupid.
In gambling, you will not take too much risk, even if BTC is now falling in price, the only thing to do is to hold it, not to bet on gambling.

Honestly for me Im not playing when the market is like this. Maybe using stable fot this one to not think of volatility. But as a gambler who prioritized relaxation, I might say this is the same with normal days. In time like this, Id like more to trade actually to take advantage of those ups and down while on gambling remain my stress reliever. Hehe.

It actually makes me more careful when I want to gamble with Bitcoin. I decided to continue holding Bitcoin and gamble with stable assets. I never thought of gambling more with Bitcoin and trying to double the same Bitcoin I already have, given the current price conditions. I will not take the risk of betting my Bitcoin. I will still gamble in the usual way, with the usual allocation.

I see only few reasons to gamble with btc:

1: You gamble for a change to get more btc. That means you don't care as much about the usd value, but amount btc you have.

2: You use it as an alternative currency, which means that you have basically accepted the fluctuation of the price in the first place. This probably means that you wouldn't want to store your bankroll as btc, especially during bear run.

I however don't see "chasing losses" as any more sensible behaviour in bear market then in normal gambling. It's always as futile and as dangerous.

That we have the Bitcoin market dumping does not be an encourager for us to gamble more, instead in some situation we may see it even as a reason to affect some people from gambling because they have already made losses at the fall of the market, even though all this are not meant to be the reason why we should gamble or not because we are doing this for the purpose of our personal entertainment I shouldn't affect why we should gamble even though the market is falling.

It is frustration. But in my case I use that frustration to reconsider my gambling habits and how often I do it and find economical strategies to recover, without having to opt for gambling money which it was not initially within my gambling budget.

It would rather reckless to try to make money out of an asset which is already losing value, just for the sake of getting rid of frustration and desperation.

In the majority of cases, people will inevitably lose their money if they choose to take their Bitcoin to casinos and try to double their holdings by their pure luck.

When it comes to my Bitcoin holdings, I don't gamble with my BTC, with what I currently know about Bitcoin and with my years of experience, and when it comes to investments, I'm not  worried right now about being forced to sell my Bitcoin portfolio and try to double it elsewhere. I have money I use for gambling, and I have money I use for investment, and I'm waiting for a specific  period of time before I will think of selling it.

Just as nobody has more or less money to spend because of a price drop or jump without first taking those profits the moment in which again we talk about $ value!

I think people's risk tolerance changes during a dump because when they see a loss they want to do something quickly but casinos or betting are not safe recovery tools for anyone in the long term. Gambling is entertainment not investments. So making decisions based on emotions during a dump usually leads to more losses. Making gambling a recovery plan will increase the risk.

Nothing will ever make me pull out funds from crypto to spend on gambling as a means of recovering whats been lost because this is an absolutely nonsense, nonsense meaning doing such makes absolutely no sense at all, doing this is same as someone or something being fried jumping out from the frying pan and jumping into the fire used to heat the frying pan 😂

Bitcoin is already performing bad enough and the best we can do for ourselves is hold, knowing well that after the storm, the sun comes up and the price of Bitcoin will surely recover and every penny potential lost will be gained back, and sometimes even profit too, but withdrawing the money to spend on gambling is really a bad decision because if that fund is lost, there is no longer any chance recovery, the person will have to invest afresh again.

I think we had many similar discussions in the past, and most gamblers don't care about these price changes... at least we don't care too much, we gamble with the same amount in $$$. What pushes us to gamble more are promotions & bonuses in new & old casinos... or we simply love gambling.

It's wrong to let frustration talk and chase losses... It's the unnecessary pressure, and if you lose, you will probably regret it. So why would you do that? Play with money you can afford to lose... enjoy & have fun.

Bitcoin holdings and gambling funds are completely different things, if a gambler takes funds from his portfolio and gamblers in a bid to increase the value of his stash, then he's doing something ridiculous or the person doesn't really understand the Bitcoin cycles. It's a crazy idea and such acts of desperation may only result in more losses and the portfolio would be wiped out when the gambler continues chasing loses.

In fact, this is only an excuse to gamble irresponsibly. This idea lacks merit.

Why would I take this risk when the market is already dumping? If I could double my money, what forbids me to doing the same thing during the bull run? If someone is planning to do something like that, they are taking some unnecessary risk, and they might end up losing everything. I have seen on social media that some people have opened several trading positions in this market and they ended up losing a huge amount of money. Probably they thought that they would recover their loss. However, they ended up losing more. So, it is not a wise decision in my opinion.

It's really funny that someone would want to increase the worth of their Bitcoin through gambling. Gambling is risky and most times leads to losses. Thinking that you would recover your losses through gambling is like seeing gambling as a guaranteed money doubling scheme. Gambling with Bitcoin when the price is falling is like digging deep into losses. This time is for holding because the price will appreciate in the future.
