None. I suppose it's because the first game I played continuously for many years was poker, and although I mostly played online, I also played some live games, and there it's best to refrain from making any signs so as not to give away any tells to your opponents. Therefore, even when I play other games, I don't make any signs.

I guess those two are common gestures especially the fingers crossed 🤞 - anybody wishing luck would usually do that.
Back in the old days of playing online games in internet shops, I've seen numerous times wherein frustrated players would punch the computer monitors. lol
Of course, such rage isn't tolerable and resulted in having those players banned from the shop. Now, I often think of doing similar thing when I'm having a bad streak when gambling, but then, since we're already grown up adults, we learn to control our temper and I just end up doing a big enhale/exhale to release tension and stress.

I do shake my head sideways from left to right and back showing that I got it wrong. Apart from that I don't make any signs. You were doing that to cross finger gesture to give you hope of winning your next bet. If I have lost three consecutive games, I use to be careful of not falling into the trap of chasing losses.

Never really did physical gestures. I don't think it works and doesn't affect anything in the game. It's most likely to be a "self" thing. To make you feel better, or to make you feel like it's affecting something. It's all superstitious gestures and a lucky charm thing. I don't think it's affecting something. Is thing really a thing with gestures during losses or wins? Because i dont recall if I have any of this gesture signs when betting, I just try to maintain a calm countenance, not to panic during losses and expect any outcome.

Hahaha this somehow brings me back memories! I remember before whenever I am on a lucky streak, I would bite my nails as a sign of nervousness. I would often also stomp my feet while I am at it given that the anxiety slowly creeps me in.

On the other hand, whenever things are going in my way, I would often punch the air in excitement because of a huge win or at least a win on my book.

Perhaps it is a habit that you develop overtime. Some people tend to be expressive with their wins/losses that they do certain gestures that reflect their feelings over the game.

I don't think there are any gestures particular gestures i make when gamabling, although i know that sometimes whenever I'm on a crazy losing streak, i usually bite amd hold my lower lip in between my teeth whenever I do this, it's a clear indication that I'm being hit really hard by the casino. and most of the times, if I eventually go a few more rounds and nothing changes, I just quit playing and walk away.

I think it's gay to ever have that finger cross kind of gesture to have. More like Karl Anthony Towns kind of thing lol. I don't think it helps especially before you even hit it but probably it makes you comfortable to do.

If you throw out gestures like this then you've lost all sense of logic and reasoning in the thing you are doing. Your strategy is purely based on luck and praying, which is a sad place to be in. Accept gambling for what it is and you will have much less stress when you're doing it. It's only meant to be a little bit of fun, you put some money in with a tiny chance you'll get a bigger amount back but the longer you play the worse those odds become against you. I don't throw any gestures, because it doesn't help in the slightest and trying to fool yourself that you've got any control of the situation - even through these meaningless gestures - is the same as lying to yourself. Facing up to the situation will keep you much healthier in the long run.

Mine is silence , I become extremely cooled because I got it wrong again , betting is not actually for the weak or faint heart , so the only sign I do is just been quiet and stare at my loses, when I’m extremely quiet my friends knows that  betting site has really dealt with me, but when I win I usually node  my head and smile because I feel I got it right this time around  , and I tell myself you can’t alway be unlucky , then I sleep to refresh my brain .

I have seen people who kick whatever is close to them in the heat of losing streak and the frustration. I think that is not really nice because it doesn't change what has happened in the game. For me I think I just frown my face to show unhappy mood and it doesn't last a long time but I don't transfer aggression to someone else or hitting the desk or the computer because it isn't the fault of any one if I lose. The reason that gamblers create such negative seen by destroying something is high stake.

I also do that crossed-finger gesture unconsciously when we want something so bad that our body reflects what our subconscious wants to achieve; it's a natural reaction. Sometimes we shout or point our fingers above, thanking them for our victory.

I think pointing fingers and crossing fingers are two of the most popular gestures.

The gestures you mention are quite universal I guess. Although if I'm not wrong in some countries some signs have a very different significance (like the OK sign in middle-eastern countries, for example) I don't know about these two, so I would say that especially the second has the same positive meaning everywhere.

As per other stereotypical movements, more than signs I would like to highlight that I've seen many tics, but also stimming in other people gambling around me, when they are very anxious. I do rub my palm with each other sometimes when I’m excited either the result especially if I place a huge bet while my winning percentage is high due to my current cards compared to the dealer same with slot games when the multiplier is high that can result to a big win with a simple connected win.

I make exactly the same movements as most people (including in gambling), because we are all social creatures and often express our true emotions through gestures. That's why many psychologists believe that our gestures don't lie, unlike our words or actions.

I grew up on American movies from the 1990s, so I often make the "Yes" gesture—it's when you pump your fist and lower your arm, elbow down, to show that something went really well. And when something doesn't work out, I throw my hands up, close my eyes, and simply stare at the sky, frowning. I think most guys who gamble or bet do exactly the same thing. We all love those gestures, and there's no point in holding back.
Although sometimes among my friends there are guys who are completely unemotive. And I'm surprised that even in the most stressful situations, they show no emotion at all, even when placing big bets on football.

I noticed these too with the people who are playing gambling even though they are not playing but these gestures part of their involuntary movement sometimes you can get an idea with this on what they are currently feel.

Might work for you, but not for many. I’m just being realistic, bro. The kind of games you’re playing are mostly luck-based, so people end up doing little things or rituals to attract luck. So yeah, do whatever makes you feel lucky. For me, I just stay calm all the time, no emotions involved, unless I hit a jackpot, then of course it’s different

But wait, there’s one thing I remember doing before. Back then, if I got lucky on a certain day, I wouldn’t even take a bath the next day.
I’d only do it once my luck ran out. Superstitious maybe, but that’s how it was, lol.
