Hello, Bitcointalk community.

I am a mold maker from Korea with 40 years of experience in the industry. In 2014, I designed and manufactured a unique physical Bitcoin archive based on my long-standing craftsmanship.

Technical Specifications:
- Diameter: 70mm
- Thickness: 4mm
- Weight: 100g
- Design Year: 2014

This is not just a coin, but a "Bitcoin Chronicle" featuring the timeline from 2009 to 2145.

To prove its 12-year history, I have the original 2D CAD data (with the 2014 creation date) and the 3D (UG) data. I will soon upload a video showing the 3D model being rotated in the design software, along with the original blueprints and early experimental samples (pre-knurling).

I am here to share this journey and protect the original heritage of Bitsymbol. Thank you for welcoming me.

Regards,
Bitsymbol

Interesting. But how so heavy?
That’s a sharp observation, @JanEmil.

The weight of 100g is the result of three specific goals I planned back in 2014:

Exhibition Quality: I wanted this piece to stand out as a Monument alongside its dedicated stand in a gallery or exhibition setting.

Physical Presence: The 70mm diameter, 4mm thickness, and 100g weight were designed to command everyone's attention by its mere existence.

Seamless Grip: I spent a long time refining the CAD data to ensure it fits naturally and smoothly in the palm.

In the case of this specific mold, a manufacturing tolerance of 100g (±7g) is commonly accepted and applied throughout the production process.

I wasn't just making a coin; I was carving the belief of 2014 into metal. I will soon share the 2D/3D design video that shows the engineering behind this monument. Stay tuned!
