Politicians are one of the major problems rocking the country and this has made us not to develop as other countries, a country that is enrich in mineral resources living and feeding from hand to mouth, especially what is called godfatherism is the key factors leading to such problems, a typical example of what is happening in Rivers State where Wike wants to be a demigod because he handpicked Siminalaye Fubara and made him Governor, he wants to be in charge of the affairs of the state and have a percentage of money he demands to be given on monthly basis, how will the state grow and free from problems when someone wants to still be in control because he brought a successor? This are the problems facing politics in Nigeria.

Once a politician who was doing poorly in office and wants to be probe and he defects to a ruling party he automatically becomes a saints and his sins are washed away, this people are just after personal riches and gains and when the time for election comes they travel to the rural areas and give the voters peanut to vote them in and afterwards disappears, they are not held accountable that's why they keep embezzling public funds.

Politicians are the reason problems of the country, no matter how we complain you will never see a politician complain about the country because they are the cause of it, politicians only care about how and they will squander public funds, when they steal from public they use the public as power for the same public they stole from, not only the president or the government that are the problem of the country, the politicians are all the problem because they are corrupt and think they can do whatever they like if they have money, money have make us look like we are useless in the country, if you don’t have money you won’t be seeing as a person who they will respect.

Politicians contribute to most of the problems we are experiencing in today. insecurity,food scarcity,poor roads and lack access of standard healthcares across the country are the handiwork of politicians. They are responsible why Nigeria isn't moving forward and undeveloped. We have all the resources in the world yet we are suffering because these minerals are hoards by greedy politicians. The people of our country have not yet been saved from the continuous corruption that has been going on for a long time. The government is trying to reduce the number of poor people in the country but the chain of subjugation has not been broken due to the negligence of foreign powerful countries. After gaining independence from Britain in 1960, a lot of money was needed to help the financially weak country but the expected help was not received at that time.

Our country has mineral resources but it cannot be extracted due to structural weaknesses. Taking loans from IMF is positive for our economy but due to the dollar crisis of the central bank and poor management, the situation of timely repayment of loans is created and the government prints money to meet its central expenditure and inflation is created.

Try to become financially independent and gain skills instead of blaming the government only. Regional geopolitics is largely responsible for national problems.

The country is corrupted and corrupt leaders are the ones handling the affairs of the country. We've seen how the common man suffers and before he eats, he have no option than to toil day and night for survival. Look at the current status of the country, Nigeria is blessed with numerous mineral resources and if you ask the government, what are they doing with the resources? What projects have they instruct in place but they will come up with series of stories which are untrue.

Today, every Nigerian can beat their chest and say it out loud about the government failing them in centrally all angles. This is definitely not what we expected from government. They're just sitting down there and looking for money to embezzled. I do believe there's light at the end of the tunnel for the country.

I'm very happy you're noticed this also, we have to tell ourselves the honest truth about our politicians, they are all the same and they don't care about our well-being that is why they keep on changing parties not for our own benefits but for their own and their entire family. If you go observe since 1999, we are still having the same leader we had, quality friends is that they keep on changing their position and that is why we are not see any positive value in them. Is very difficult for someone to change his mindset and that is exactly what is happening to us in Nigeria, all the leaders were having today, they have the same mindset because some of them believe that if they discontinue from this leadership they are family will suffer, that is why they are busy accumulating public funds.

Politicians are definitely the reason why Nigeria is not developing. Nigeria Politicians have never been interested in the development of the country or the betterment of its citizens,  but rather they are after their own pocket. Nigeria Hage everything it takes to be a great nation,  but we have remained under developed because of the kind of leaders that has been in charge of the affairs of the country. I totally agree that poverty and hunger make people sell their vote, but I also blame the citizens for selling their vote. Just very annoying to see our government politicians misbehaving like small children all over the country this should even be a bigger slap to us as a whole having to see so many politicians mess up all about even the social media are happy putting them in videos for jokes so sad…am highly disappointed in them politics are definitely the cause of the matter here because their own have consign for the money not the roles they play in the country which is such a shameful act….this people to be as role models which people should look up to but they are the one engineer all this country problems only God can save us fro this country self ohhh
