I'd like to cross-reference my post from their ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5571889.msg66385468#msg66385468

Multiple forum members have been left with open withdrawals for up to 11 days. The company is actively committing identity theft by impersonating other Casino's licenses and company names.
So far, 7 promises (including three publicly in their ANN) have been made that withdrawals would be processed, all of them have not been kept.

I have my police report pre-filled and will file it tomorrow morning. If anybody has a way to get to Playlogiq (the odds provider), it would be of big help.
You will see more scam accusation threads being opened here tomorrow morning, because yet again, we have another promise of funds being paid out today, that several members are waiting for.

Just read the last few pages in the ANN thread and it's a real mess. I doubt they have the money to pay out this withdrawals. I am not yet sure if it is a premeditated exit scam or if they have just run out of liquidity, but i don't think customers waiting for their funds would be getting any.

It is also a new site i believe, so the owners would also be thinking about what this has done to their reputation. So paying out now could still mean the platform is "dead". So that could "encourage" them to actually go on with the exit scam.

Just read the last few pages in the ANN thread and it's a real mess. I doubt they have the money to pay out this withdrawals. I am not yet sure if it is a premeditated exit scam or if they have just run out of liquidity, but i don't think customers waiting for their funds would be getting any.

It is also a new site i believe, so the owners would also be thinking about what this has done to their reputation. So paying out now could still mean the platform is "dead". So that could "encourage" them to actually go on with the exit scam.

I share the same thoughts, I am pretty certain the exit scam was never premeditated but they were actually hoping to attract big deposits with their generous bonus programs and those deposits would result in player losses that build a financial base from scratch.
I've been very kind and understanding with the owner and have communicated with him daily, but he never wanted to provide any form of evidence that they are working on anything.

They have paid out around $1.000 two days ago in total which leaves me with a tiny bit of hope left but I doubt they can afford much more currently. None of the accusations around identify theft have ever been addressed but they confirmed several times that liquidity is not the issue, unfortunately without any evidence backing it up.

Are you going to make it an official scam accusation with a flag? If so, I will support it.

I doubt you are going to be getting any of that money back. Apparently their website is down, though they claim they are under maintenance, but it looks like they have given up.

Like i already said in my earlier post, anything that happens from here on in, the site is still dead. If they decide to return and pay, which is very unlikely, nobody would play there again and it'll die a natural death. That is why i strongly believe they have taken the other option of leaving with whatever funds they have left, too bad for the victims.

I have left Betmoco a negative feedback, but as discussed in their announcement thread, I think talking about the signature campaign is irrelevant here.
Campaign participants who didn’t get paid can create their own scam accusation thread or simply red tag the casino’s op. This is my own opinion and everyone is free to do as they see fit.

I read in the ANN thread were the owner accuses you of being the reason why they have no liquidity and cannot pay customers their money, lol. That is like a comical end to this saga. Now i cannot even make up my mind if they were legitimate from the start or they were just run my amateurs who didn't know what they were doing and implemented too-good-to-be-true promotions that sealed their fate.

Whatever it may be, it ended up an exit scam and that's that.

This is no surprise for me to see they already shut down.
From the first moment I saw betmoco casino website there was something shady about this casino and it looked like a joke.
I wrote review for that casino not long ago and I recommended everyone to stay away from this casino.

In case anyone in this thread has not been following any new developments in their ANN. After days of silence, there is this AI Generated bullshit their casino represented posted today. They claim there was a security breach and 95% of the funds were stolen.

If they don't provide proof regarding the security breach or stolen funds, no one is believing the lies.

We recognize that the internal circumstances surrounding this incident are not the primary concern of our users. What is of utmost importance—and fully our responsibility—is the protection of user funds and the uninterrupted ability to process withdrawals. At this time, withdrawals are temporarily unavailable, and we acknowledge this failure with full accountability.

To mitigate further risk and protect all parties involved, our platform has been placed into maintenance mode until all vulnerabilities are fully identified, resolved, and independently verified. All affected accounts and transactions are being carefully documented. That said, i am curious why they had to provide this silly statement, scammers usually go silent and disappear when they are done with their scam, but this guy continues to communicate, guess he is trolling at this point, lol.

There is no need to wait for any proof regarding that breach. Because if they really want to prove something, they'll have to up the website first. And then, pay everyone that they owe for the campaign which ran for a week. At least with that, they're showing some good faith. But all are just reasons that they're hiding thinking people are going to believe it but no. There's got some casino shown that did the same thing in the past. That's why no one's going to believe them anymore unless they prove themselves right and everyone of us wrong through action.

That's right. They think that what they wrote could legally protect them, or that this ridiculous statement will make some people believe that they might return to fix the situation and refund their money. A similar case happened with the fraudulent Tachebet platform, which was also an exit scam, but with a different story.

In addition to what you said about pursuing legal action against this casino, I would also like to warn about crypto recovery companies that may appear claiming they can help recover funds, they are usually scammers.

New casinos, especially those that are promoted for a short period on the forum, are extremely high-risk because they haven't been in the industry long enough to gain the reputation or credibility necessary to trust them. I hope this serves as a lesson for everyone.

I don't even understand what's the big deal with having a gambling license. Having a license doesn't make a casino trustworthy instantly. There are many scam accusations on casinos that have a gambling license.

To me, not having a licence is a more positive attribute. It shows that the casino's trustworthiness doesn't depend on the approval of some authority in some country. That's more valuable thing to have.

If betmoco was honest about their license and promote it that way, they would attract a different audience and probably fill a very important gap in the industry since I don't see any no-licence casinos lately.

Jesus Christ, what an absolute shit-show this casinos turned out to be...
When I first saw their ANN on the gambling section of the forum thought it was only just a small casino trying to get some attention from gamblers here.

I should have suspected something was off when they started to talk about being fully licensed and at the same time not asking for KYC information, which is a direct contradiction to what all licenses stand for nowadays.

I am very sorry for those who have lost any significant money to those criminals. I guess we should never welcome new casinos so easily on this forum any longer...

OP sorry about your loses.
Faking license was stupid from Betmoco, but they still managed to get a lot of money from their customers.
It's better to stay away from new casinos that are poping up all the time, and give it some time to see if they are legit or not.

One of the big warning signs was them lying about the status of their license. It would have been better for them to state they don't have a license from the get-go. This is because lying about the license is worse -- if they are willing to tell pretty big lies right off the bat, how likely are they to be trustworthy in the future?
if they lied about the license, i wonder if they are lying about getting hacked? hmm...

I don't even understand what's the big deal with having a gambling license. Having a license doesn't make a casino trustworthy instantly. There are many scam accusations on casinos that have a gambling license.
i'm with you on that, but having a gambling license at least shows they have put in some work and spent some money to set up a company and pay the necessary fees and whatnot, and it's not like it costs much to get one. i think you can get an anjouan license for ~$20k.
to me at least, if a casino can't even afford to spend $20k on that, they are broke and have no business operating a casino (or are most likely scammers).

Lol, the forum doesn't moderate stuff like this, so new casinos or any service can freely run their business here. The only advice one can give forum users is to allow new services run for a while before trusting them with a sum of money that you'd not like to lose. Because we've seen this pattern many times, and not just with casinos, also with mixers (when they were still with us) and instant exchanges. New ones just pop up and end up being a scam. The point is to ensure you don't lose any significant sum to them in their growth stage.
