The current situation is that property prices are expensive, especially houses and land. The inflation rate in this sector is very high, making it very difficult to get a house. If we calculate the minimum standard income to buy a house in a slightly better size and condition, I think only 40 years old can buy a house and land. We haven't looked at the price of the contents of the house and its maintenance. It will be very difficult to explain if we rely on the basic salary with the minimum standard issued by the government at this time.

The middle class no longer exists, so buying a house has become something only the wealthy can afford nowadays. People with standard salaries can only afford to rent, and rent payments constitute a large portion of their wages, regardless of the country I believe this is the case worldwide. Everyone dreams of owning a home, but only a very small minority can afford it now, which is sad because housing is a basic need.

Yes it is possible, but it's highly dependent on the environment that surrounds you. Let's take London for example, most people living in that city will be earning higher than the average UK wage which puts them at an advantage. However property prices are also substantially higher than the rest of the UK, which leaves the predicament where they could probably rent and save beyond what others in the rest of the country can do, but they'd probably still have a tough time buying in central London so must look further out. The highest earning jobs will have people struggling the least in this situation, but houses are naturally in high demand. You probably will have to save for 2-3 years minimum to afford a deposit, but most home owners went through that process and had to cut back during that time. That's the first step and it gets easier from there.

Increase in our portfolio's are testimonies, no means of earning for living is easy and when you attempt to climb upper layer for increase and you don't have a backup, it'd feel like a play that can't be realistic. Persistence and putting energies to work will always make it a reality, it may only take some time but when your luck shines at the right time you may get it timely. A middle class or an average can afford a house, it depends on the quality of house and location also as his relief of financial responsibilities ty to allow him chase his goal.

Depends on where you live. In the middle of the most popular city in the richest first world country? You are going to have to pay about the same as buying an entire mansion in other parts of the world. And you would get more for your money with the mansion. But status symbols should never be underestimated, especially when it come to rich people.

This depends on where you live. Which country, which city and even which part of the city you live in or want to live in. Buying a house has become difficult worldwide. Being able to buy a house by working a salaried job has almost become a dream. This is true in developed countries as well as in less developed ones. Now, the condition for being able to buy a house is making the right investments. I own my own home. If it weren't for Bitcoin, I probably wouldn't have been able to buy one either. With the right investments, enough patience and a bit of luck, it's possible to buy a house. But for someone who pays most of their salary in rent every month and can't invest, buying a house with their own means is almost impossible.

Everyone aspires to it, but it's simply difficult for the average individual to do, particularly if they aren't affluent and are having trouble keeping up with the rising cost of living. Since typical employees are unable to purchase a home with cash, government housing loans are the only viable option. You can then decide whether to pay it off over a period of 30, 20, or 15 years. As long as you can work, it feels like you're paying off a debt for the rest of your life. It's essentially the same situation even if you run a tiny firm, perhaps with a somewhat shorter payment schedule.

Complicated question. Because whether you can own a house or not fully depends on your income and land price. Your dream and earnings will decide if you can buy a house. If you dream of buying a house in the capital city, then most probably you will need to earn a lot. If you want to buy a house in a normal city, then you may need less money. Otherwise you may buy a house in a village that won't cost you much. So based on your earnings, you have to take the step. Most people buy apartments in the city since they can't earn enough to buy land and build a house. Buying land is better for me if you have capacity; I have one and had to struggle a lot for that.

Some people prefer to rent house base on environment, there some environment you will stay. You will never plan to buy or build something there. You will just prefer to be sending money to your own environment that you came from because to buy house for some places is very dangerous for none indigene because there’s nothing that you will be claiming. But I think if it is from Nigeria to buy house is very easy base on insecurity.

Having a house in this time and age is a huge asset and achievement that's because of expensive it is to build or buy a house now. if you are in the middle class buying a house that's not even up to a three bedroom flat would cost a lot of money but this all depends on the location. if you are not able to do this at a particular phase of life then you should wait patiently until you are financially stable enough.A lotof people start up building projects that they are unable to finish because they refused to be patient .

Yes, it is very hard for middle class income to buy a house at the meantime but in my country there are subsidize house program for middle and lower income class, so they have access to decent house. I think middle class income still have possibility to buy a house with different level of affordability, i think realistic way to get a house for middle class income by choosing house with affordable price in suburbs which have growth possibility (near industrial area). We must prepare for deposit but in my country there are syariah concept funding without penalty without seizure and return back 100% of our money if we can not pay in the middle of contract. I suggest to review financial condition and manage cashflow first because financial safety is always be priority. Don't force yourself to buy a house and then your budget will be screwed up.

can a middle class citizen still afford to buy a house or do they really have to earn ridiculous amount of money in order to buy one?
Here's the reality about real estate properties of today, everything near or within the city is built really expensive that only crazy rich people can afford to own it, leaving everyone else to continue to pay rent. And to answer your question, yes, a middle class citezens can afford to buy a house, only it's far from the city, far from commercial areas. I believe the lands there are quite within the range for someone who's not earning that much. So, that means, if you work in the city, you need to travel a significant distance from work to home and vice versa, and that'll cost you energy, extra time, and effort for you to make it to work on time. Most people would just deal with the reality I mentioned above, because it is the most feasible way to survive the rat race.

It needs a big effort for middle class citizens to buy a house. They must works hard and smart to saving more from their income. They should have more resource of income to earn more money. They can starts to have an investment which can be another way to earn more money.
You can search for a house in the suburbs which prices are not too expensive. You can also asks your bank if they can gives you loan to pay the house and you will pay the loan according to your salary. Maybe that needs longer for you to pay the loan but you can do that.
You can buy a land first. Sometimes that maybe cheaper than buy a house. You can starts to build your house slowly and no need to hurry while you still trying to saves more money to continue to build your house.

I don't own a house yet and am just starting to plan to buy one. My current focus is on completing the final stage of my studies and working (doing business) full-time without any other distractions. How should I respond to this? Because in my neighborhood, there are also people with middle-class incomes who own their own homes. My location is also quite strategic, which means land prices are not cheap. I can conclude that in this case, it depends on how strong the desire is to own a home. If others can do it, why can't we?

Instead of focusing on hardship and other complicated matters, much better for you to find good solution on how you make those dreams to have a house come in reality. Maybe try to check your local brokerage, if there's available installment pre-selling or rent to own schemes homes to avail. You don't need to spend huge amount of money instantly just to have a home. There are flexible plans provided by real estate developers so anyone can afford their dream homes.

can a middle class citizen still afford to buy a house or do they really have to earn ridiculous amount of money in order to buy one?
I divide this situation into two parts: before and after the pandemic. Before the pandemic, countries struggling with economic crises would take measures to reduce consumption and decrease the money supply, ensuring their citizens were affected by the crisis to the minimum extent possible. This situation actually created an environment where the middle class could afford to buy a home. Because the money they earned had value. However, after the pandemic, things started to happen in the opposite direction. Countries began to continuously increase the money supply to recover from the crises, and a planned devaluation was taking place. This situation caused home prices to rise significantly. I no longer believe that the middle class can afford to buy a home through their own efforts unless they inherit property from their family. The opportunities are truly very limited.

Look, buying a house or an apartment is a complete individual choice and attitude. Nowadays, people are very dependent on the present and the trend is very much affecting them. Due to which they are very attracted to trendy things and are doing it. If they had thought well about their future generations, they would have bought a land and built a house on it instead of buying an apartment. But here is another thing, they can buy an apartment for half the money that it would cost to buy a land and build a house on it. And the suffering of middle-class citizens knows no bounds. They have to earn a lot of money to buy a house according to their ability. Which is almost impossible for them at times. Those who can buy are from the upper middle class and the lower middle class is in a situation of "running out of money to buy salt".

~ Your point highlights the facts about homeownership and investing. A lot of people thinks that a house give them emotional security and prevent them from rising rent's. But along with this property ownership have taxes and interest costs. If we going towards investing with discipline then we built greater liquidity and also get long term wealth after twenty years. So the selection of choices depends on individuals mentality and patience. Some individuals select the both options having house and investing so with understanding long term consequences and with proper planning people understand that owning a home is best investment ever and its the best decision for every individual belongings to every level of income.
Both sounds great but how many people can do both when they are even struggling to meet their necessary needs due to inflation and more competition in the employment market? And what I said might looks simple about invest rather than paying a housing loan but it is something that one can realized after spending their entire lifetime in paying their loan and ends up nothing in their hands at their retirement period, but if they had planned and invested that money then they will have money that might be enough to buy more than 5 properites of that same value.

Among the basic needs of humans, food and clothing are as important as having a safe place to live. A person always looks for a safe place to live after working hard all day and having a home of his own means creating a permanent security system. Yes, many people cannot earn enough for a place to live, but they should save separately from whatever amount they earn to build a house so that even if they cannot build a house now, they can build a house later.

The fact is that the prices of houses in most locations particularly in large cities are quite high and unaffordable to all. The middle classes are definitely finding it difficult to afford them. In my area, the government offers a subsidized housing scheme. This is the act of the government assisting the middle-class residents in the purchasing of houses, despite the fact that the prices of homes keep on increasing. It can make the middle class able to afford a place to live even with a simple and small house. I do not know elsewhere, maybe we may have a bit of this.
