I just created an account to warn other people.
I use many sites for betting but this happened to me first time in this betcoin.ag site. It is not a big amount, just 500USD but still interesting how they behave.

I created my account and after some betting and I think after my second deposit or third, I ve lost access to my account.
After talking to live chat, they sent me a verification link valid for 30 mins, I did required things but they are not accepted. I thought ok, I ll try again when I am home.
Then when I talked to chat again for several times, they tell me there is nothing they can do, I need to contact by email.
I contacted to their email several times in last 2 months but they dont respond at all.

Standard KYC is not an effective tool to determine if a player is multi-accounting, because players can just get their friends and family to complete it for them. We don't like to give away new ways for players to cheat, but this is a well-known issue and it is documented and encouraged in sportsbook abuse forums all over the web, including tips and tricks on how to not get caught doing it.

Just like the players have to adapt to our new security technologies, we have to adapt to their new ways to cheat us. We have strict requirements for KYC, because it is only given to users who are suspected of violation of terms, and those are the players who are looking to falsify it. Less than 1% of players are asked for KYC. And of the players who are asked for it, the vast majority try and falsify it. If a user is legitimately trying to complete it, we always provide ample accommodations if they are unable to meet certain requirements. That's as specific as we can get, for obvious reasons, so for that for that, people will just have to trust us. I like to think we are well known for always trying to do the most fair thing for players.

Despite what OP said, no one has ever been asked to do KYC in 30 minutes. If it was difficult for legitimate players to complete our KYC, there would obviously be more reports about it. In fact, just a few days ago, someone made a post in here about how he was asked to do KYC by email. In that case, he was fully compliant and we made a determination that there was no wrongdoing and his full winnings, a lot more than this person is claiming, were received instantly (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5573218.0).

In this case, we had a player who was already easily determined to have been in violation of our terms of service. Another lie he told is that he made 2 or 3 deposits, but we were able to catch this on his very first deposit. It doesn't take us long, and he is exceptionally bad at it. Had it been his first offense, he likely would have had his deposit back. But based on certain account characteristics, it was likely that he had done this before on other accounts. After multiple failures to complete or comply with our KYC requirements, we investigated deeper and determined that this user had been previously banned for sportsbook abuse on a different account. At that point, we no longer needed to communicate with him, since we had already told him last time he was banned that if he created any additional accounts, they would be subject to all funds being withheld.

Please try to follow the correct scam accusation format from the pinned post. Without posting the full details with evidence, we can't help much here. Have to post some more evidence, including your deposits and withdrawals history. So it will be easy to understand the situation. Right now I realised they have suspended your accounts due to failed KYC. But I need to know the full details of how and why.

Betcoin seems to have responded here, which is a good thing, either with a negative or positive approach. But at least we know the argument; it seems Betcoin is challenging OP regarding multiple accounts and cheating on their platform. Though we don't have any access to verify this claim, OP would argue if you are legit. Not much more we can do on this case; just make sure you are gambling with a reputed gambling platform.

Certainly, when someone can't complete KYC then shows up 4 months later saying "I can complete it now", it's because he figured out a new way to beat it. That's why every site has a limit on the amount of time they have to complete it. Ours is 45 days, which is the amount recommended by leading 3rd party mediators. All that said, in this case, and nearly all cases, we did not need KYC, as we were able to confirm that he was an abusive, malicious multi-accounter without it being completed.

If so, then what happens with the initial deposit? Let's say a user deposits 500 USDT, and after winning, he now has $1K in his account. After that, if you detect multiple accounts, will you freeze the whole funds or refund the initial deposit? Or do you judge based on total withdrawals and total deposits?

How about not being allowed to make a deposit and gamble without full verification? So such a case will reduce, and gamblers could gamble fairly? Cheaters should be punished; I won't disagree with that. But a decent player shouldn't suffer for such reasons. I am not defending OP or not blaming you; I just want to find the decent way to solve such issues.

And what's the summary of these users? Has he withdrawn more than he deposited? Or has he withdrawn less from his total initial deposit? Are you going to refund the funds if the initial deposit is greater than the total withdrawals?

If i understood Betcoin correctly, they would likely refund if it is the player's first offense and if they hadn't been banned previously and warned that their funds would be seized if they created any more accounts. So on that basis if they are right that OP has multiple accounts, then their decision is justified. But as is always the case in a case of multiaccounts, it is hard to know who is telling the truth from outside (player or platform).

That is really not on Betcoin. When last did you play on a casino that hit you with KYC before you were able to deposit and gamble? I definitely wouldn't choose to play on that platform when there are other places i can just deposit and play. And that answers the question why casinos wouldn't do this.

And I am sorry that I didnt follow the format, will be more careful.

About this, I dont care too much, it was a test deposit and I am ok to write it off as an expense.
But I am not happy how this handled, and the accusary & sarcastic responses of the relevant party.
They didnt even answer when I posted the proof that they demanded kyc in 90 minutes (which here they said it is not possible), and then didnt reply my emails for a new one at the time. Now they claim it is expired. Ok, no worries. But I am definetly didnt have any other account, it was my first try to use their site. I am very curious how they claim that they warned me before etc.

Anyway, I understand, other people have better experiences with this site. I hope mine is a singled incident and nobody else gets harmed. I just wanted to write this when I see a mention of this site recently.

Not siding with anyone, you did not mention the amount. I deem it's a small amount, and because of that you lost interest in pursuing this case, while Betcoin.ag seems to be so sure that you are a long-time cheater, and they have proof to back it up.
If this is a life-changing amount, it will go to arbitration, because if you do not go for arbitration, then you just strengthen Betcoin. ag's defense.

Do it always when you are creating a scam accusation. When you post following the correct format, then it's easy to understand the whole scenario and act accordingly.

Both of your claims are different, which leaves the issues unsolved. Sorry to say, we don't have much to do. We may ask the casino to respond here; we don't control them anyway.

Always do your own research before choosing a platform, whether it's gambling or any other platform if it's financially related. Sorry for your loss, but believe you have taken the lesson.

Multiple account violations is always very hard to resolve on the forum unless there’s some reputable willing be an arbitrator to check the proof of the casino and the OP allowed sharing of his information.

@Holydarkness can fulfill this role but I don’t know if he is willing to do this.

Case like this usually best to move on popular arbitration site such as AskGamblers and Casinoguru since casino can send the proof with them.

Willing to jump in and verify Betcoin's proof of multi acc for OP, if Betcoin agrees to show it to me [the vow of silence apply] and OP agree that I will be their eyes to verify, but I will not say what I see. What I witnessed will strictly under for-my-eyes-only basis [for obvious reason]. And my words as I have my findings are binding to both parties.

That means, after my call, OP is not allowed to escalate this further to ADR and/or give their consent that betcoin may simply refer to this thread to the ADR for the ADR ro reject or close the case.
