There are many types of investors, some people plan for the long term, while many others sell their Bitcoins in a short time. The only successful investors are those who buy when the price of Bitcoin starts to fall and start accumulating Bitcoins in their wallets. Basically, those who plan to invest in Bitcoins with discipline and confidence in their own experience can go towards success in the future. Basically, the market falls many times and seeing this change, there are some investors who get scared and sell their Bitcoins at a loss, thinking that the market may go lower and they face losses. But basically, when the Bitcoin market falls, you should buy and we should keep these things in mind that if Bitcoin falls, it will recover again. Those who are afraid of seeing the price fall are not real investors, basically, those are the real investors who can hold for the long term and plan for the future without selling their investments.

This led me to asking this very critical question what type of a investor are you, do you always panic and sell off your assets in reacting to a Market change or are you a Fair whether investor or you believe in the long term property of Bitcoin. I want to say that when ever someone wants to invest in Bitcoin the very question that should be asked first is an I going into Bitcoin out of convictions or is just going into Bitcoin for a quick opportunity of making money due to a change in price by going into the market and leaving when the price of Bitcoin appreciates.

The truth of this matter is that any body can simply and freely choose the type of investor they want to be, what is most important here to consider is if whatever strategies implored to be used in investing in bitcoin is actually working for the investor, people are free to move their money any how they want, I can (for example) invest in bitcoin today and tomorrow, I find a better opportunity, it is not out of place to decide to withdraw the money I initially invested in bitcoin and put it in that other opportunity I found, in the end, what matters most is that money is or was made.

But again on the other hand, every investor should try as much as possible to be more focused in the long term investments as this is the type that pays the highest when it comes to bitcoin investments.
With how high and expensive the price of bitcoin have become, 2x in the short term is almost like impossible, but it quite possible and even more in the long term.

My focus is on long term gains. people who doesn't want or fear to invest in Bitcoin shouldn't be forced, it's their choice. If there is proper preparation, one can successfully maintain investment despite market ups and downs. However, if there is no preparation to deal with it, there is a possibility of being affected by emotional decisions and getting hurt. However, knowledge alone does not cover all situations. Suppose an investor has knowledge about emergency funds, but despite knowing this, if he does not take action, he may have to break the investment in unexpected situations. Again, if someone decides to trade, it is not guaranteed that even being knowledgeable will always be able to make the right guess because even many experienced traders cannot maintain regular profits. Basic knowledge, patience and controlling emotions are important in investing, but along with this, it is important to have realistic expectations, risk management and make decisions according to one's own capabilities.

Yes you are right, everybody is in title of his or her decision in regard on how to choose in handling their investment plan. But despite our freedom of choice in our respective investment journey it is still good we hold for long because that is safest and  what can actually get us covered even in future. It is absolutely true that one should not invest with a get rich quick mentality, I saw a post on our local board that a person invested in a fake website hoping to earn 3,000 naira per day and the scammers promised him that if he invested in Bitcoin he would be able to earn that much money per day. So, one should try to understand that it is not possible to make money from BTC investment in a very short time, if one is patient and consistent and has a long-term mindset, it is possible to earn naira from investment. To my knowledge all that is needed is discretionary income and avoiding the fake path i.e. the traps set by scammers, as a result of which it will be possible to own a lot of Bitcoin at one time by investing in Bitcoin little by little.

Why should I invest in Bitcoin if I have the mindset to sell if price fluctuates. Bitcoin is meant to be volatile so if I must invest then my mind is already made up to hold. Most investors who panic are either those with little knowledge about how bitcoin movement has always been or those who invented with a money meant to solve immediate needs and it ends up going against their calculations so they sell out of FUD to avoid incurring further losses. An experienced investor knows the rudiments of the market and won't allow its sentiments get to them.

BTC is the king among other cryptocurrencies, which is the reason why you have to invest in BTC and hodl for long years before you can sell to earn big profits from the market which is the desire of every investors. That is a good mindset towards BTC, because hodling BTC in few years you will celebrate yourself for hodling BTC, because once bull market occur it will make BTC hodlers to be celebrating for the kind profits they are going to earn from the market.

However, I have not had to sell the amount of money I have invested so far. Because I am very prudent in managing my investments. I do not invest in weeks or months when we do not find discretionary income, I never invest with the amount of money that I think is necessary. I have almost all aspects under control but I overspend which sometimes leads to not finding discretionary income.

In the near future, you would be more experienced and arrive at a better maturity to handle your cash-flow more efficiently. I only have some problem with the statement I bolded out of which you should invest with the necessary amount from your discretionary income. Investing is not as complex as trading , one thing you need to know is how to allocate your funds and manage your cashflow. Try breaking your earning down into different percentages, some percentage to your investment some to your emergency funds, and some for your expenditure ( make sure you settle your expenses first before first), so that you can generate your discretionary income from it which is your leftover, where your investment funds ,your emergency and back up funds are being generated from , without discretionary income one can not invest .

Some people started as a result of emotional price movements, it's still the emotional price movement (but in the opposite direction) that will make them sell their coins

Some started as a result of hype, and it's still they Hype (but in the opposite) that will make them sell

But if you're reason is to hold long term, you'll wait long term and get significant amount of profits and then sell

It would depend on the kind of mindset your have financially. Most people before they come into the crypto market might have had experience in one or two places, where they had to deal with losses. I believe these set of people would be very good in holding their coins even when the market seems to be very volatile and uncertain.. some new investors are drawing into BTC investment because of the profits they heard others made from it. They don't have any experience with risking before and they would be the set of people to cry once they begin to see the market go against them. It's not always as simple as we imagine..there will be times when you may want to give up and try something else, but if you have a good investment plan and the right mindset, the market volatility would not affect your actions..

Looking for a genuine source is usually the problem most newbie investors face. Right now we have many countless number of fake investors showcasing life styles that they cannot afford just so they will be able to lure people to ask questions on how they do it. Doing research helps a lot, that's why we keep singing with it that's as a newbie, you should try your best to get familiar with what you are putting your money into, before you do. The knowledge doesn't only helps you understand but keeps you intact during times where the market seems to be losing its grip.
