Hey everyone,
I’m a programmer and I’ve written a custom strategy on TradingView. The performance metrics and results are genuinely very good, and I rely heavily on the Yearly Report to analyze long-term performance.
The problem is: the yearly report takes extremely long to update. I was basically able to use it once, and after that it just stopped being usable, it either doesn’t refresh or takes so long that it’s practically impossible to rely on.
On top of that, I was on the Essential plan and had around 200 days remaining. I recently upgraded to Premium, assuming the remaining Essential time would carry over or at least convert proportionally. Instead, I just lost those 200 days completely for nothing.
So now I’m stuck with:
A strategy that looks great on short-term reports A yearly report that doesn’t properly update
My questions:
- Is anyone else experiencing extremely slow or non-updating Yearly Reports for strategies? - Is there a known workaround to force the yearly report to refresh or recompute? Would really appreciate hearing from others who’ve run into this, especially other devs running heavier strategies.
Thanks 🙏
