I haven't kept a profit and loss statement for my gambling activities. 🙋 In my opinion, this is completely pointless. In most cases, we can't consistently make a profit from gambling. And if we can't control this process, then in my opinion, there's no point in expecting it to make a profit.

In practice, I sometimes win and sometimes lose. When I win, I try to withdraw the money and spend it on something I enjoy. When I lose, I take the outcome stoically.

I try to keep gambling at the level of entertainment, my goal in gambling is simple: I make a deposit, double it, and withdraw the profit. It’s more of a sporting challenge for me. Yes, I withdraw the winnings and use it for something more productive at home like using the winnings to pay bills, or add it to the funds of our daily budget.  Sometimes if I have enough fund for the needs, I give them to my parents just to make them smile.

I don't have the habit of leaving funds at the casino.  I always withdraw the funds after I am done with my gambling session.  So there is no way that I will accumulate winnings and leave the fund in the casino just to save the winnings for a larger amount to withdraw in the future.

The smartest thing for any gambler to do if they won is to take it and enjoy themselves, you don't know if you will double it or not if you decide to use the win to continue gambling.
