Perhaps the op was asking about how much we have gain or gotten from gambling and how well we have used the money gotten from gambling, being able to approach gambling calmly is not really an achievement because it is the mindset and mentality we should have before we start gambling so that we don't over gamble or go after our loss. Discipline is very necessary in gambling but some people realize later that they are not the moment they have loss a good amount of money and still went after it.

And the best part of learning or mastering this kind of discipline and self control is that you can also apply it elsewhere, not just in gambling alone, in you day to day life, business, investment and even relationships too, in fact people need discipline in literally everything they do, so that’s quite an achievement if you ask me. I see you as someone who must like good very much 😂, aside buying food, do you know that there are other better things you can actually do with your gambling winnings no matter how small it is?
Well, for me, I don't spend my gambling winnings on food, I spend it on investing in bitcoin and other worthy altcoins I see good prospect with for the future..

I created a wallet which I titled as my retirement funds, any money I win from betting or gambling for into that wallet in the form of bitcoin and some other choiced altcoins, I made it a must that I must not touch fund in this wallet in 20 years coming when I must have crossed 50 years of age, and amazingly, from $5, $2, $1, $3, I now have a little over $300 in this wallet, was more than this before but the bitcoin and altcoin prices dropped..

So you just accept your fate which is losing in the long run and you are ok with it which is strange in my point of view. In gambling we know that over the long run losing money is much more common than winning yet there is an impulse that pushes us to try again our luck and that impulse is hope, hope of hitting it big and why not at least once to get that life changing winning amount. If you have no hope and just know that you will lose why playing in the first place, better to keep your money in your wallet than throwing them away.

That's funny but you are right, there are some gamblers that gamble as you do, they don't need much win, as far as they get small wins that can support in sorting out their small wins, is good for them and are satisfied that way, they are not greedy or selfish to chase for big wins as most gamblers do, which usually cause them or lead them into addiction.

I think majorly every body who is involved in gambling are at a loss if they should try to calculate how much they have spent on gambling in total, how much they've won and how much they've lost, they will discover that their loss is way higher than whatever amount in total they've won, this is also my experience as well, I don't need s soothsayer to tell me that I've lost way more than I've won from gambling, but even with this, I still try to achieve something with some of my gambling winnings.

You can purchase something on times that you won so regardless of you have negative PnL you will have an opportunity to withdraw during the time of your winning games unless you are 100% bust in all of your game.

It's simply not a good idea to leave your wins on a casino hoping to accumulate it over time. The chances of losing the money is much higher than winning even the smallest amount to it. Though not impossible but as a gambler you should be smart enough to place withdrawals after substantial wins to avoid being caught up in certain losses. Even if it's the smallest amount, so long it's won it should be without as a way to pay your self for the difficult times you've went through tying to win.
