How long would you stay before gambling?

Spending too much time in a casino or gambling shop is not good at all, in gambling, it is advisable that you know when you are to gamble  and not, therefore setting a budget and controlling your emotions while gambling is very important and maintaining the amount to gamble with so that you don't go out of budget or carried away by the game.

Gambling addiction comes gradually, it does not start a day , so we need to avoid things that will make one get addicted.

The amount of time we spend gambling varies and I think it’s better to set a budget for gambling instead of targeting how much time we able to spend in the casino. Imagine spending 30 minutes gambling but already losing a lot of money instead, it’s better to set a budget based on what we can afford to lose. For example, if we can only spend $10 each day, we should stop once that $10 is gone, whether it takes five minutes, ten minutes, or thirty minutes. If the $10 doubles that’s great and keep the profit but if it’s gone, we should stop and don’t forget to separate your profits from your bankroll.

I think it is important to set a time limitation along with setting a budget because if a budget is set, the gambler will get a signal when the budget is over, but if time is not set, the gambler will gamble for a long time even if he wins. When a gambler gambles beyond the specified time, his chances of addiction will increase significantly. In the case of an addicted gambler, neither budget nor controlling time will be easy. Budget limitation is of course important, and the gambler must also give priority about time.

Exactly, gambling shouldn't be something to have any plans of stay long, as far as one is gambling on the budget they have, they don't have to stay any longer once their budget is gone, because the longer they stay, they more chance they will got to still gamble more by wanting to chase their loss and this will not yield out any good results.

You seem to be right about the idea of having a budget as that too could be useful in curbing addiction... The most important thing however isn't just about folks creating a budget, but they should also be prepared to be abide by that budget... A lot of gamblers are great experts in setting budget but when they start encountering losses, they end up forgetting that they even gad a budget, and then they do the exact opposite which is them abandoning that budget they originally set just because they aim to recover their losses.. That is why I think that in addition to setting a budget, gamblers should also have self control to know when to stop once they must have exhausted all of their budget..

I agree with you that it's not just about knowing the right things to do but actually applying it when you're gambling and that is where self control comes in, without having a control over your gambling habit it doesn't matter what you know. First you have a budget of how much you intend to gamble with them you apply it in your bankroll management and follow it through with discipline, also you need to plan your time so that you don't overstay. If you can control money and time in gambling that means that you cannot be addicted to it. If you are addicted to gambling it won't be easy to practice this strategy but with determination and time you will be in total control.

I agree with you because if they can be able to set how much they can spend in gambling daily or weekly, it will be difficult for them to be addicted to gambling because this is what every gamblers is avoiding in gambling, I think we have heard many cases like that from some addicted gamblers and the out come of the issue is not encouraging, but some gamblers don't want to learn from such issues in the gambling center, if you don't want to be addicted to gambling make sure you set your daily budget on gambling either winning or losing nothing will change your mind to increase your budget because you know what will happen when you continue gamble when losing in the gambling.

Do you know that some people doesn't calculate or reason gambling in such manners, when a gambler is losing, especially lose twice at a spots, they doesn't withdraw their involvement in gambling, i believe that anyone that uses this method by quiting in the gambling when you notice that your lose more than twice and that will not favour you, it better to forget about gambling for the day as you, but some gamblers will insist to gamble

For me gambling is by luck and goodluck doesn't run every day, and the demerits in gambling is higher than merits for gambling, what I mean is the advantages of gambling and the disadvantages of gambling, if we checked it out, the disadvantages is higher than the advantages,  so inclusion, we need to know that gambling is by luck

This is must look facts towards gambling and if people where taking their time extremely careful and serious before gambling we would have received less reports towards gambling addictions.

I don't want to mention any specific time here because since gambling is for entertainment, it should be enjoyed mainly in our free time.  In this case, each person's leisure time may be different. In my own case, I find the time for gambling different each week.

When work is busy, there is less time allocated for gambling, and often no time is spent on gambling at all. There are times when I have enough leisure time to gamble for two to three hours. I may not gamble continuously for two to three hours, but this related exploration continues.
