Of course. The longer you stay in the casino, the more you're hooked on it, and the harder it would be to leave. I think it would be best to set a definite length of time when gambling rather than keep it open.
The risk isn't that you'd be having so much fun you'd completely forget about the time; it's that you'd continue gambling despite not enjoying it anymore. There are many gamblers who aren't excited anymore, already bored, but continue on betting, can't seem to detach themselves from it even if it's supposed to be over.
A person without a plan, someone who doesn't have a strategy, is always adrift, so setting a timer and leaving when the time is up is the best approach. I think even if you're addicted, you can maintain this discipline; it's necessary to do this to feel good about yourself. If you leave when the time is up, you'll feel really good because you've kept your promise to yourself. I bet on sports, and I set different limits for myself there and try not to exceed them.

True gamblers don't really care about time, true gamblers are usually addicted to gambling but they are more disciplined, their experience teaches them to stay within safe limits because true gamblers know how to manage their finances and prioritize financial security over the time spent.
Your definition of "True gamblers" is actually wrong, somebody that loves gambling and someone who is addicted to gambling is two different things, True gamblers love taking risk, and they love gambling, but it is controlled and regulated, but a gambling addict is being controlled by his emotions and game results. And because true gambler has the time to control their self when gambling they can also control their time as well.

This is must look facts towards gambling and if people where taking their time extremely careful and serious before gambling we would have received less reports towards gambling addictions. Of course this looks so common but it matters while gambling, can also look at the time you spend, how much you allocate when gambling this would enable you culture yourself properly while gambling and it would also help to reduce gambling addiction as well.
What do you think about the total hours spent while gambling, does it also attributes to how quickly you could become addicted to gambling?
It all depends on the gamblers time frame that he has for himself, there are some persons that will really gamble for like 3-4 hours/ day because they don't often have that time to do that, but for those that always available and have decided to gamble responsibly gambles within one hours to two hours depending on the game they are gambling.

We all know that the more we are expose to gambling activities the more chance we got addicted to gambling. I believe that the time we engage in gambling should be monitored and regulated. Moderation is the key to minimizing exposure to gambling thus minimizing the chance of getting addicted. But, I think it still depends on the person since every person has their own level of resistance to gambling addiction. So the length of engaging to gambling while staying away from gambling addiction depends on the person's resistance to gambling addiction. Aside from that, a gambler must have a regular self-check to see whether they are getting hooked and eventually addicted to gambling activities.

Yes, I think the amount of time we spend gambling makes room for addiction, because the brain gets to familiar with gambling and intoxicated with its temporary excitement. That is when it craves to keep going in expectations for winnings but only to drown deeper in debts and more losses. The best way is having a different source of income that seperates your mind and keeps you distracted from putting all focus on gambling.

Some gamblers can actually gamble for short time yet they will still have the additive tendencies meanwhile some gamble for long and still nit get addicted, sometimes the reverse is the case. But then any body can still have own way they react to addiction gambling. And truly some people are actually not gambling long and not have the addictive tendencies because they do not have the time to spend on gambling because they are busy with something or work.

It can affect and it can not because the longer you dwell in gambling, the more difficult it seems for you to let go especially when you are dependent on it but on the other hand there are some gamblers who are always long in the gambling they play but they do not feel anything and their pattern remains the same. But this kind of thing should be avoided because not all have the same level of tolerance and I prefer to play according to my capacity. I'm still trying to manage my time and balance things and gambling for me is one of those situations where sometimes we forget about time when we play so I always limit it as much as possible so that I don't get too involved in the gambling.

Limitation is very important to apply in gambling, and when it is not their it means one will have to gamble just the way they like without having any sense if the number of gambling or amount use in gambling is getting so much. But it takes good understanding for one to be able to have limit in gambling. If their is that sense that gambling is a must to make profit then it will be impossible to have limit in gambling and when one does not understand uncertainty in gambling.
If one tries to start gambling before making plans to set a limit, then they will be making a big mistake. It's better to start with setting the limit first based on your time schedule and money budget, and then you have to bring in discipline to make sure you don't break that rule which was set by you even before you start gambling.

What do you think about the total hours spent while gambling, does it also attributes to how quickly you could become addicted to gambling?
It's not just about gambling, it's about anything, be it reading a book or watching movie. Where you spend a lot of time doing something and it becomes a mental habit and you lose control over it, then you know that addiction is a combination of these things. Basically, the more time you spend, the higher the risk of addiction and this is scientifically proven. So I believe that the number of hours you spend gambling directly depends on how quickly you become addicted. So people who gamble for fun become addicted after a while, but they deny it.

It is essential to avoid spending playing time dragged into a whirlpool of emotions that distort the level of common sense. Spending hours staring at the screen will continue to put the threat of financial destruction at a further overall cost to us in the form of slowly depleting our savings. A short lived victory will never make it worth to lose our head in the way we run our day to day routine. We should learn that huge losses always loom over any person who cannot get out of the gaming table once the time elapses.
But in my opinion, sometimes long-term gambling does occur because of unstable emotions. Usually, people cannot accept defeat, and because their emotions are unstable, they decide to gamble again. This can become a repetitive action, resulting in long-term gambling. But still, with the same statement that defeat is more likely than victory, long-term gambling can only lead to huge losses.

I totally understand your feeling but you don't have to blame op for capitalizing on gambling as a matter of fact here is a gambling discussion board, but I still want to agree with you when you said anything. Yes we need to work with time in whatever thing we are doing be it reading or watching movie just like you said and surely it's important to set limit or time in whatever thing we are doing so as to enable us look into other things instead of being tied up in a particular activity when There are other things that need to be done.
