What happened:

https://youtu.be/_vlmB_XTiFE?si=hh8dTK8eTLcVjhw3

I pre-ordered 2 Proto Rigs from OneMiners (Circlehash LLC) in early November 2025 for hosted mining in Nigeria (shipment late November 2025), paying $21,846.20 in BTC. No hardware was delivered.

OneMiners claimed a bulk order of hundreds - 100s - of units from Proto/Block Inc. was most likely lost together with their claimed upfront payment because Proto/Block Inc. "ghosted" them.

However, Proto/Block Inc. confirmed to me in writing: no order was ever placed, no resellers exist at all, and flagged the whole thing as scam ("I'm sorry you fell victim to this scam").

On their request, the Proto/Block Inc. legal team is currently reviewing all my compiled evidence.

My OneMiners Dashboard showed faked mining on exact live dates promised by support, later claimed to be a "software error" by OneMiners global sales coordinator.

My refund demand was refused; I was offered unwanted replacements with significant extra fees or otherwise deals I had no interest in, and OneMiners kept stalling.

Latest: OneMiners unauthorized deployment of replacement miners to my Dashboard account without my consent, seemingly to create a false record of “delivery” after their fraud was exposed.

I have filed with FTC, FBI IC3, Texas AG thus far, and am now actively working to warn the Bitcoin community about OneMiners scam, fraud, and dishonest dealings.

Thanks for your post and letting us know your experience. Wish you the best getting your money back. There is probably little hope but you never know. Oneminers has tried to advertise on this forum a few different ways but the project seemed shady to me from the start. They insist that, unlike traditional cloud mining services (which are mostly bogus), you own the miner that is mining at one of their facilities. But the truth is you don't own anything and they don't own anything. It is all smoke and mirrors.

Not sure this will be of any help but its a thread compiling evidence of the Oneminers scam:

oneminers dot com is a probable scam mining company

Their reply to you on Trustpilot is a textbook case of deflection:

If OneMiners has no partnership with Proto/Block Inc how can they sell these devices while failing to deliver the Proto Rigs customers already paid for?

They also blame the delays and problems on the manufacturer and haven't provided any evidence that these devices were ever ordered and the “fixed” dashboard remains a clear red flag of fraud.

Their statements about no-refund policy are just an excuse to avoid refunding the money and will not protect them legally, as you have sufficient evidence proving their wrongdoing and they are obligated to deliver the device to you or refund your money which is $21,846.

Sorry for your loss OP. I am absolutely gutted  Sad
A few couple of years back, Oneminers through some shill accounts try to advertise in this forum and with the red flags they had, they were immediately identified and labelled as scammers. It's unfortunate you didn't come across such information or threads taking about the scam before you placed any order. I hope your post helps future users to avoid the scam

Ideally, I could also suggest working towards having the website put down since they are proven to be fraudulent.

Good points. I have updated my TrustPilot review reply now.

Thanks. Yea, was blinded by some good YT reviews and overall good TrustPilot review score. Should've dug deeper, obviously.

I was also blinded by doing all sorts of calculations with AI, and the fact that I believed I would be able to sell the 2 Proto Rigs before the halving to recoup up to 75% if my investment in addition to mining profit.

Proto/Block Inc. legal requested all evidence for review, which may lead to something. Let's see. Will keep updating my Substack article on the latest developments...
