Almost every person has this problem. The biggest reason for this problem is not being able to control themselves and greed. When a person is able to control himself, if he is able to reach his goal, then he can quit gambling. But the one who is not able to control himself keeps playing more and in the end he faces losses. Many people face losses even in a profitable state because they are not able to control themselves, so controlling themselves is very important.

Make sure that you do not give up gambling forever after winning, if you return to gambling after a short break after winning, you can still lose. In the long run, you will never be able to profit from gambling if you gamble regularly.

The most effective step to profit from gambling is to give up gambling forever after winning a large amount. It is normal that you will have to lose a lot of money for that win. In fact, gambling is a kind of trap, once you enter, it is difficult for you to get out. Casinos are not willing to let you profit, they own casinos to profit themselves.

Ever notice this?

When you’re winning, you don’t stop. You’re already up, but it still feels “not enough.” So you keep going, one more spin, one more bet, until the profit is gone.
But when you’re losing, you also don’t stop early. You only quit when the loss is already big, when it hurts.

So think about it.
We’re not satisfied with small wins, but somehow we only feel “done” after a big loss. Isn’t that backwards?

Maybe the real problem isn’t the casino. It’s how we handle winning and losing.
If you're not a disciplined bettor, this is exactly how things will play out for you. But you can choose a bet or several bets long before the match starts. If you know in advance that you want to place just two bets this weekend, no more, no less, then if you win you'll make a profit, if you lose, you'll lose, but you definitely won't keep betting. Moreover, I've noticed that when I have the option to choose one or two bets from all the games that will be played throughout the week, it gives me a much better selection of matches than when I can choose just a few matches or one match to bet on. That's discipline. Don't place too many bets, because it will tire you out and you'll definitely lose more. Try focusing on a few bets and a few matches, you'll learn them much better, and your results will be noticeably better.

Limiting your bet to a strict amount prior to a game commencing will offer immeasurable psychological serenity of mind, vital to predictable outcomes. With some limited alternatives of quality we shall be able to go into depth analysis that is much more precise than throwing out our capital in some random manner. You are correct that the first plan is the most vital to continue with in order to avoid fatigue, which may affect proper financial decision.

I asked many people here in my country why they bet on sports, and the answer was simple: because they like football, because they have fun while having the chance to win a lot of money.

None of them, from what I've seen, put in a lot of money; they put in $1 or $5 on parlays with very high odds, and when they win, they can take the money and do business.

I also gamble for fun, I bet small amounts, but I celebrate when I win big. My point is: gambling, like everything else in life, requires you to use your head well to prosper. So if a person wins, for example, $10, that person won't buy anything significant, so they won't celebrate much. But if they win $10 million, they will celebrate a lot, travel, and won't have time to continue gambling.

The act of wining alone is a motivation alone to want to make you want to play more..
Offcourse we are humans and we all have this inherent greed in our genes to size opportunity in.what we have.  So if you are wining it is obviously an avenue to.continousely play and seize more opportunity to win as much as you can win and as long as the wining keeps coming.  Such day is fir you and you must seize every opportunity to win more

Ahh yes that's true and is a fact experienced by many gamblers especially those who are addicted, when they win they continue to advance because of greed, usually when the game is going very well then you will continue to increase your winning target and finally when suddenly the game goes bad then emotions arise and yes you lose control and lose everything, that's what addicts do, when they win they are greedy and when they lose they are curious and keep trying again, in most cases usually the session always ends with a big loss.

You're absolutely right, man would always be at the end of wanting more money, more winnings, more achievements, everything more because with everything we still think or feel we've not done enough and thus we ought to satisfy that needs, which is why most individuals aa well as gamblers would never resist or stop involving in things that brings in more of that. At this point the main problem is ourselves beginning from our mindsets.

That's why we call it an addiction. It doesn't matter if you win or lose. Winners chase more profits, losers chase their losses thinking they'll make a comeback. In the end both of them end up losing huge amounts. The only way to break this loop is to play less. There is no other way. Put yourself a limit. Say your weekly allowance is $100. Under no circumstances do not exceed this amount. Once you spend that $100, do not make "one more" bet. Put a limit on the profits too. Say if you turned this $100 into $200. Stop there. Wait till next week. Gamblers often think they need to play every game there is. Smokers have that same habit too. They want to smoke every cigarette in existence. Smarten up.

You’re right, for example if I don’t set a target amount at which I plan to withdraw my winnings, I won’t know when I should stop. I also agree that when you start winning and your balance grows, it always feels like it’s not enough, you want to win even more. And when you go on a winning streak, you begin to feel like you’re good enough to start increasing your bet. But that’s when your balance can start shrinking much faster.

I think this is more about psychology than about casinos. When people are winning, they don’t feel “safe”, they feel momentum. And momentum creates the illusion that the current state will continue. So instead of securing profit, they increase exposure. When they’re losing, it’s the opposite. Loss creates urgency. And urgency destroys discipline. Instead of accepting a controlled loss, they try to recover it immediately. The common denominator isn’t the platform, it’s the lack of predefined rules.

Most players never define: a take-profit level, a stop-loss level or a session limit.  Without structure, emotions make the decisions. And emotions are always reactive. The irony is that small wins require discipline to keep, while big losses happen when discipline disappears.

I think everything you mentioned here are the things that we should always do while gambling because not getting satisfied with a win or lose have deal with many gamblers, yet we don't want to take correction. Sometimes we don't need to be told before we will know that, time to call it a day has come, these are the things that is making us to have difficulties in gambling because winnings is not guaranteed, you can only get it by luck and not by how smart you are but still we want to win the house for something that we no too well that it can not be possible.

Make sure that you do not give up gambling forever after winning, if you return to gambling after a short break after winning, you can still lose. In the long run, you will never be able to profit from gambling if you gamble regularly.
There can be different reasons people gamble, I do not gamble for profit reason but if I win, I am more excited but if I lose, I am not really excited but in few minutes I will forget what happened because it is small amount of money. I do not gamble regularly, I lost $60 to $70 in total last year. I am still in profit this year. I gamble almost every week this year. Is that not regularly? But I gambling just one day during weekends and it is usually less than an hour.

When you start winning you begin to have this feeling that it is your lucky day. This might build the confidence to keep gambling without restrictions. To avoid becoming a victim of this mindset, I gamble with only the money I have budgeted. Wins will not make me increase my budget. Immediately my budget is exhausted, I will simply withdraw my initial wins and log out.  Thesame thing also happens when I am losing.

We always win but some people allow their wins to slip away into the place it came from, the casinos are always prepared for the gamblers in which ever way the person wants it, if you want to lose back the money that they have given to you as a win, they will gladly collect it back the way it came. Every gambler is lucky to win their games, be it a small or big win, people are lucky to win but when they don't appreciate the little they have, they will lose it again, not being satisfied can cause that.

I think it boils down to how emotionally strong a gambler is and their risk tolerance abilities.
Otherwise, why should someone who is in need of cash for immediate pressing issues, have a win and keep gambling instead of withdrawal of if not all, but some of the wins to sort their issues before going along to continue gambling or just quitting for the entire day?
It depends on how big the win is for me as a deciding factor if I have to keep gambling, that's after withdrawing my excess cash and leaving only gambling funds. I also get bored of gambling too long and would likely get tired after losing maybe three times after that recent win.

It depends on what gamblers you are talking about. Some gamblers play with cheap amounts of money, like 20$ or 50$, so the profit they make from those sums is definitely not enough to be satisfied with, because once they spend the profit, they will need more money to spend once again on daily expenses. It's different from the jackpot winner who earns millions of dollar at once. Then, if doesn't get satisfied with the prize, he must be really suffering from a serious addiction or another mental disorder, or he doesn't have any clue about financial management.

I think it's human logic and normal greed that ensued when we think we can make more from gambling. I think there is a myth many of us don't want to accept in gambling but it's what gambling is about. What I know about gambling is that you can't game the system, if you do then that means you are among 1% of people that successfully made it through, the rest of the people don't make that much from gambling which is why you can't make the money.

If I make money from gambling, I will make sure that the money is withdraw from casino, I will rebalanced my bankroll to the same amount I used in the beginning to make that profit. I will keep it simple until I make more. This way even if I ended up wasting my bankroll, I will have something that I will fall back to, that's the best way to handle satisfaction in gambling and not end up losing everything you have made from betting.

You should know that human being are unsatisfiable, something we might be praying for small win but when we eventually get the small win at that point we would want to increase our expectations by praying to win big and even when we get the Big win is not going to be enough as we will be trying to win maybe 2x the amount we won earlier,  as a gambler you don't need to be greed the little wining we are getting from gamble should be more than enough for us instead of trying to hit a bigger one and we should know that gambling is not a place to make expectations because it won't work reason been that there's no guarantee about the outcome.

Oh my gosh, that's exactly what I experienced recently. And I actually realized it was wrong, but apparently greed, a sense of unfulfilled satisfaction, and the same unfulfilled win target were the main factors. Even though I could have stopped consciously, taken the profit, I honestly could have returned after a few hours. And it's true, as you said, we will truly consider it "finished" after the turnaround turns into a big loss. I agree with @cryptoaddictchie the real battle is against oneself.
