But when you’re losing, you also don’t stop early. You only quit when the loss is already big, when it hurts.

So think about it.
We’re not satisfied with small wins, but somehow we only feel “done” after a big loss. Isn’t that backwards?

Maybe the real problem isn’t the casino. It’s how we handle winning and losing.

The problem is indeed in us, namely greed, this does not happen only in gambling, even trade, business and others when they have greed, they will get ruined at the end of the story that is what people who have greed suffer from, I do not deny it, I used to be like that so I realized that it's not a good thing and we should be grateful for the winnings we get, even though it's not big but it's worth it, especially if you play in slots games, you will find winnings like 50% of the capital we deposit into the casino will be very low.

yes sometimes the cause of this can be  greed as you have said. However it is not only greed that cause this, some gambler normally got carried away as a result of excitement from there first winnings. Yeah we never satisfied with small wins. I feels that especially if I win decent amounts and sometimes I feels difficult to stops gambling and accepting the win. I realize that my greediness becomes big and wants to chasing more.

Many times I falls in the greediness trap which makes me lose the win money. I regret it but I tried to learn holding me back and stop gambling if I win.

The problem is how we handling the winning and losing. We should accepts anything we get so we can stop gambling anytime.

There are also two points to be mentioned. You gamble also for the pleasure to gamble. This is also another win.
People tends to place "fast" bets because they want adrenaline and win immediately Meanwhile gamblers rarely decide to play "slowly" in a boring way.
The other problem arise with fallacy of the gambler, because if you think that gambling is easy, just spin a wheel and get cash... you can't never get enough

Could this be called greed? Because we initially win, but because we feel it's not enough, we end up continuing in the game. This happens to anyone, perhaps influenced by the desire for a bigger win, even though we ultimately lose and potentially lose everything. If we gamble to make more money and continue to be influenced by this desire, people will continue to suffer losses forever because there are no adequate limits. Perhaps this is something gamblers need to consider so they don't fall into this trap every time they bet or play.

I think this is exactly what happens every time we gamble, lol.
Maybe the reason behind why we tend to continue even though we are already winning "enough", is that we are just seizing the opportunity, or shall we say, striking while the iron is hot. Because not every day we're getting the kind of luck. However, when things started to get south, we also don't want to stop, because we're still hoping the luck is still there and the winning streak are still alive, and just needs a little bit of  pushing, until everything was exhausted.

It's pretty common though, but gamblers always get to experience this every once in a while. Maybe because sometimes we're getting too excited when we are in a winning streak and become too frustrated when we start losing.

Surely you are right, this always happens to majority of Gambler, it is very hard for them to quite while winning and harder to quit while losing. They only end up quiting after much loses. I don't know why but this is a general phenomenon Among gamblers. I see this perception as a theory that states that "no retreat no surrender" even if the surrender somehow happened, it is always late. Now I begin to think that is the mind programed to accept defeat at dieing minute? Or is it only when we have no choice that we can call it a quit?

Indeed, the problem isn't with the casinos, but with the individuals themselves, who often misunderstand gambling. With the right perspective and understanding, gambling, which is considered merely entertainment, should be considered a conscious and resilient way to stop. Greed is a common thing when it comes to gambling, there are people when they are winning they will want to keep playing to win more, and there are people also when they have lost will also want to win back things they have lost and they will eventually keep playing and loosing more money because they are in a situation of steady panic, there are also gamblers who will never be satisfied with their win probably they won a certain amount of money and they will feel that isn’t enough for them and they will want more and more from the the gambling and they keep playing and they might eventually loose some huge amount of money.

Everyone wants to win big. That's exactly the goal. The goal is not to win $20. Winning $2,000 is the goal. Of course, each person may have their own scale of major winnings. For some, it's $200, for others it's $20,000. The bottom line is that anything less than that is an intermediate milestone, and therefore does not bring a sense of achievement. You might be right, because for me, if a lot of gamblers aren't winning, it’s probably just because they're unlucky. We all know that as gamblers, winning is really just a matter of luck.

Or, it could also be that greed gets the better of us. That’s likely the reason why we don't win; instead of taking home what we’ve already won, we lose it all because we can’t stop ourselves when we should. That’s usually what happens.

The casinos have never been the problem, they've always just been the catalyst, the whole problem lies with us and us alone, it's our inability to be satisfied with what's available to us that lead us to keep gambling until we end up losing too much, if only we can exercise contentment then we would not be losing as much as we are but our greed is never going to let that happen, at least for most of us because I'm choosing to believe that they are people who can hold themselves back while gambling, myself included.

People get addicted to this loop when they get stuck in it. If you don't have control over yourself, you can't get out of this system. That's why even if you make a lot of profit, you can be very happy and bet aggressively because of this extra profit. On the other hand, even if you lose, you should control yourself and stop betting. You can never control the betting results, but you can control your emotions. Therefore, if you can control yourself, it is possible to reduce the amount of losses in betting.

I notice this to be true which was why I made serious adjustments in my gambling to avoid the pain of turning a winning day to a losing day. If I win amount that I consider big, I will either make withdrawal or set a stopping limit in mind and as soon as I lose that amount I have in mind, I'm done for the day. I hate winning and losing the money back, instead of that to happen, I stop gambling the moment i win the money. This was not easy for me at first but with time I was able to develop that level of discipline to enable me make progress in gambling.
