I was thinking things like this happen to only me. When gambling I will have to fight myself to stop gambling, all I do tell myself is let me place bet one more time, and after that, I will still tell myself one more time. Well I thought to play just 20 dollars for fun as I have completely stopped massive gambling and I am holding up well so far by not falling into the that again. The problem is I have found that Hacksaw gaming when played with minimum bet of 1000 IDR as that is the currency I prefer to play because I want to play as long as possible and it brought me to near 100 dollars. Definitely the casino has nothing to do with  all this, this is just a personal decision by Gambler. I had a friend who doesn't stop gambling when he is betting and losing with small money but stops immediately when he loses a huge amount just as you have describe, and it make me wonder if only huge loses makes people stop gambling. And another thing also is that when they are wining small small money they tend to continue without stopping till they lose it all. Greed is always an unavoidable situation so when we get a win (in small amounts) we always feel that this is not enough and still need and believe that a bigger win awaits us which makes us keep betting which will end tragically.

There are a lot of gamblers who always say limits including those on this forum and that is an immutable truth because after all, limits have always been important from the beginning but because of the wrong mindset and the fact that we can't help ourselves and are constantly trying to get big profits, it makes things complicated.

Yeah unfortunately i have noticed that too and w well it is honestly uncomfortable how accurate it is, cause when i’m winning it never really feels like enough so i keep going thinking i can stretch it just a bit more and when i’m losing i dont want to accept it so i stay in hoping to recover and somehow i only feel  when ready to quit after the loss actually hurts and when you really think about it that mindset is what traps you because if we can’t handle small wins with discipline or small losses with maturity, we end up chasing both in the wrong way, i mean It is sad but then it is just reality at this point.

Yeah, I did not notice this kind of thing and only thought of it after reading your post.  I come to look back at my gambling performance, I always ahead against the casino during the first minutes of my session, but I am not content with the small winnings, so I push my luck further and end up emptying the bankroll.  If only I am good with the small winnings, I could have avoided such losses.

What about people that don't win anything at all? What do you have to say about that?

I feel like what will happen will happen to you in gambling, all you do is as a result of the way you used your skill to make the bet. We know that gambling is unpredictable but there are people that are very skilled based that will gamble number of times that they won and guess what, they make more than the amount they used in wager, they ar  naturally inclined when it comes to gambling.

The people that doesn't know how to gamble are the people that are always caught up with loss and instead of them to stop, they don't stop. They just keep giving the money to casino, they don't know when to stop because they have this believe that they are going to win money one day. That's a disgusting behavior of hope, after multiple losses and lose everything they gave up and don't like gambling again when they know it's their fault.
